Reduction of 1,12-closo-C2B10H12 followed by reaction with the appropriate metal halide and metathesis with either [K(18-crown-6)]Br or [BTMA]Cl ([BTMA] = [C6H5CH2N(CH3)3]+) affords isolable salts of the supraicosahedral metallacarborane sandwich anions [4,4-M-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2]n- in moderate to good yield. Compounds prepared are [BTMA][4,4-Co-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 1), [K(18-crown-6)][4,4-Co-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 2), [K(18-crown-6)]2[4,4-Ni-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 3), [K(18-crown-6)]2[4,4-Fe-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 4), [BTMA]2[4,4-Fe-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 5) and [K(18-crown-6)]2[4,4-Ti-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 6). Oxidation of the iron(II) species 4 and 5 with FeCl3 in THF generates the iron(III) analogues [K(18-crown-6)][4,4-Fe-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 7) and [BTMA][4,4-Fe-(1,10-closo-C2B10H12)2] ( 8), respectively. All diamagnetic compounds were characterised spectroscopically and the structures of 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 were established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. All anions have the anticipated cluster structures with two docosahedral 13-vertex cages joined at the central metal atom (the common degree-six vertex 4). Carbon atoms occupy the degree-four vertex 1 and the degree-five vertex 10. 11B NMR spectroscopy suggests the anions have, on the NMR timescale, C2h symmetry in solution at room temperature, consistent with free rotation, or at least substantial libration, of cage units about the long molecular axis. In the solid state the relative conformations of the two cages may be rationalised by simple bonding arguments, the single exception being the conformation of 4, in which both cages are subject to directional B-H...K+ interactions to the [K(18-crown-6)]+ counterion. The stirring of [ortho-(HC[triple bond]C)-C(5)H(4)N] with [nido-B(10)H(14)] in benzene affords [6,9-{ortho-(HC[triple bond]C)-C(5)H(4)N}(2)-arachno-B(10)H(12)] 1 in 93% yield. In the solid state, 1 has an extended complex three-dimensional structure involving intramolecular dihydrogen bonding, which accounts for its low solubility. Thermolysis of 1 gives the known [1-(ortho-C(5)H(4)N)-1,2-closo-C(2)B(10)H(11)] 2 (13%), together with new [micro-5(N),6(C)-(NC(5)H(4)-ortho-CH(2))-nido-6-CB(9)H(10)] 3 (0.4%), [micro-7(C),8(N)-(NC(5)H(4)-ortho-CH(2))-nido-7-CB(10)H(11)] (0.4%) , 4 binuclear [endo-6'-(closo-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10))-micro-(1(C),exo-6'(N))-(ortho-C(5)H(4)N)-micro-(exo-8'(C),exo-9'(N))-(ortho-(CH(2)CH(2))-C(5)H(4)N)-arachno-B(10)H(10)] (0.5%) 5, and [exo-6(C)-endo-6(N)-(ortho-(CH[double bond]CH)-C(5)H(4)N)-exo-9(N)-(ortho-(HC[triple bond]C)-C(5)H(4)N)-arachno-B(10)H(11)] 6. An improved solvent-free route to 2 is also presented. This set of compounds features an increasing cluster incorporation of the ethynyl moiety, initially by an effective internal hydroboration, affording an arachno to nido and then a nido to arachno:closo sequence of cluster geometry. An alternative low-temperature route to internal hydroboration is demonstrated in the room temperature reaction of [closo-B(11)H(11)][N(n)Bu(4)](2) with CF(3)COOH and [ortho-(HC[triple bond]C)-C(5)H(4)N], which gives [micro-1(C),2(B)-[ortho-C(5)H(4)N-CH(2)]-closo-1-CB(11)H(10)] 7 (40%) in which one carbon atom is incorporated into the cluster; a similar reaction with [ortho-(N[triple bond]C)-C(5)H(4)N] affords [N(n)Bu(4)][7-(ortho-N[triple bond]C-C(5)H(4)N)-nido-B(11)H(12)], 8 (68%) and stirring [ortho-(N[triple bond]C)-C(5)H(4)N] with [nido-B(10)H(14)] quantitatively affords the cyano analogue of 1, [6,9-{ortho-(N[triple bond]C)-C(5)H(4)N}(2)-arachno-B(10)H(12)] 9. Three new compounds of formula {[Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](BF(4))(SiF(6))(1/2)}(n) (1), {[Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](CF(3)SO(3))(2).H(2)O}(n) (2) and [Cu(gua)(2)(H(2)O)(HCOO)]ClO(4).H(2)O.1/2HCOOH] (3) [gua = 2-amino-1H-purin-6(9H)-one] showing the unprecedented coordination of neutral guanine, have been synthesised and structurally characterized. The structures of the compounds 1 and 2 contain uniform copper(II) chains of formula [Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](n)(2n+), where the copper atoms are bridged by guanine ligands coordinated via N(3) and N(7). The electroneutrality is achieved by uncoordinated tetrafluoroborate and hexafluorosilicate (1) and triflate (2). Each copper atom in 1 and 2 is five-coordinated in a distorted square pyramidal environment: two water molecules in trans positions and the N(3) and N(7a) nitrogen atoms of two guanine ligands build the basal plane whereas a water molecule fills the axial position. The values of the copper-copper separation across the bridging guanine ligand are 7.183(1) (1) and 7.123(1) A (2). is an ionic salt whose structure is made up of mononuclear [Cu(gua)(2)(H(2)O)(HCOO)](+) cations and perchlorate anions plus water and formic acid as crystallization molecules. The two guanine ligands in the cation are coordinated to the copper centre through the N(9) atom. The copper atom in 3 is four-coordinated with two monodentate guanine molecules in the trans position, a water molecule and a monodenate formate ligand building a quasi square planar surrounding. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1 and 2 in the temperature range 1.9-300 K show the occurrence of significant intrachain antiferromagnetic interactions between the copper(ii) ions across the guanine bridge [J = -9.6(1) (1) and -10.3(1) cm(-1) (2) with H = -J summation operator(i)S(i).S(i+1)]. 相似文献

It has been evaluated the use of semipermeable membrane devices (SPMDs) as passive samplers of organophosphorus pesticides from air, in order to determine the contamination of working environments. Additionally, the use of SPMDs as portable samplers has been also considered. The analytical methodology for the determination of diazinon, chlorpyrifos-methyl, pirimiphos-methyl, chlorpyrifos and fenthion in SPMDs exposed to contaminated air was based on microwave-assisted extraction and gas chromatography with mass spectrometry determination. Limit of detection (LOD) values from 2 to 4 ng SPMD−1 and repeatability from 2 to 7% were obtained by using the aforementioned methodology. Theoretical calculated sampling rates were employed for the estimation of the pesticide concentration in air, by using the pesticide mass retained in the deployed SPMD. The obtained LOD values, for a sampling time of 7 days, were from 1 to 2 ng m−3. The evaluation of the air quality of a pesticide laboratory with an intensive use of diazinon and chlorpyrifos has been made in order to check the operation safety conditions. 相似文献

Polyanionic species have been obtained in high yield by a new route in the ring-opening reaction of cyclic oxonium [3,3'-Co(8-C4H8O2-1,2-C2B9H10)(1',2'-C2B9H11)] (2) by using carboxylic acids, Grignard reagents, and thiocarboranes as nucleophiles. The crystal structures of Na3(H2O)(C2H5OH)[1',3',5'-{3,3'-Co(8-O(CH2CH2O)2-1,2-C2B9H10)(1',2'-C2B9H11)}3-C6H3] and Na(H2O)[3,3'-Co(8-O(CH2CH2O)2C(O)CH3-1,2-C2B9H10)(1',2'-C2B9H11)] show that the chain contributes three or two oxygen atoms for coordination to Na(+), and interestingly, the [3,3'-Co(1,2-C2B9H11)2](-) moiety provides extra B-H coordination sites. These B-H...Na interactions in the solid state have also been confirmed by dynamic NMR studies in solution. These new polyanionic compounds that contain multiple carborane or metallacarborane clusters at their periphery may prove useful as new classes of boron neutron capture therapy compounds with enhanced water solubility and as a core to make a new class of dendrimers. 相似文献

The new complexes [Pd(dmba)( N10-9AA)(PPh 3)]ClO 4 ( 1), [Pt(dmba)( N9-9AA)(PPh 3)]ClO 4 ( 2), [Pd(dmba)( N10-9AA)Cl] ( 3), and [Pd(C 6F 5)( N10-9AA)(PPh 3)Cl] ( 4) (9-AA = 9-aminoacridine; dmba = N,C-chelating 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl) have been prepared. The crystal structures have been established by X-ray diffraction. In complex 2, an anagostic C-H...Pt interaction is observed. All complexes are luminescent in the solid state at room temperature, showing important differences between the palladium and platinum complexes. Complex 2 shows two structured emission bands at high and low energies in the solid state, and the lifetimes are in agreement with excited states of triplet parentage. Density functional theory and time-dependent density functional theory calculations for complex 2 have been done. Values of IC 50 were also calculated for the new complexes 1- 4 against the tumor cell line HL-60. All of the new complexes were more active than cisplatin (up to 30-fold in some cases). The DNA adduct formation of the new complexes synthesized was followed by circular dichroism and electrophoretic mobility. Atomic force microscopy images of the modifications caused by the complexes on plasmid DNA pB R322 were also obtained. 相似文献
