Six rotational bands up to energies E x = 24.7 MeV and spins Jπ=(79/2?) have been identified in 109Sn using the GAMMASPHERE γ-detector array. Four of the bands show smoothly decreasing dynamic moments of inertia at rotational frequencies ?ω > 0.6 MeV. The bands arise at medium spins from a coupling of a valence d5/2, g7/2 or h11/2 neutron to the deformed 2p2h proton excitation of the Z=50 core 108Sn. At very high ?ω these bands show the typical behaviour of smoothly terminating bands, i.e. a gradual alignment of the angular momenta of the valence particles and holes corresponding to a transition from high collectivity to noncollective states. 相似文献

A study of the nucleus 106Ag has revealed the presence of two strongly coupled negative-parity rotational bands up to the 19- and 20- states, respectively, which cross each other at spin I approximately 14. The data suggest that near the crossover point the bands correspond to different shapes, which is different to the behavior expected from a pair of chiral bands. Inspection of the properties of these bands indicates a triaxial and a planar nature of rotation for the two structures. Possible causes for this may be understood in terms of a shape transformation resulting from the large degree of gamma softness of 106Ag. These data, along with the systematics of the odd-odd structures in the mass 100 region, suggest that gamma softness has marked implications for the phenomenon of nuclear chirality. 相似文献

Lifetime and g-factor measurements have been made with pulsed beam-γ time-differential techniques using the 89Y(α, 2n)91Nb and 88Sr(α, n)91Zr reactions. A mean lifetime τ = 14.4 ± 0.5 nsec and a g-factor of 1.26 ± 0.04 were obtained for the 1985 keV level in 91Nb and τ = 41.9 ± 1.2 nsec and g = 0.70 ± 0.01 were obtained for the 2288 keV level in 91Zr. These results are compared to theoretical calculations for and configurations in 91Nb and 91Zr, respectively. 相似文献

High spin states in 126Ce and 127Pr were populated via heavy ion reactions with 182-MeV 35Cl projectiles on a thick 96Ru target. Prompt γ–γ coincidences were measured. New states in 126Ce and 127Pr were found. The results are discussed in the framework of the core–quasiparticle coupling model.

The very neutron deficient nucleus 104Sn has been identified in in-beam spectroscopy using the reaction50Cr(58Ni, 2p2n) and neutron and charged particle multiplicity filter detectors. Excited states up to I ≈ 10 and Ex=4 MeV were observed and the level scheme is discussed in the frame work of the spherical shell model. 相似文献
