The four-body equations of Alt, Grassberger and Sandhas, in the form that the (2)+(2) subsystem amplitudes are treated by the convolution method, are solved for separable two-body interactions between nucleon pairs in the channels3S1-3D1 (t00 alone) and1S0. AllL=0 andL=1 (3)+1 subamplitudes are represented in a separable form using the energy dependent pole expansion. Stable transition-metal nanoparticles of the type [M(0)](n) are easily accessible through the reduction of Ir(I) or Rh(III) compounds dissolved in "dry" 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ionic liquid by molecular hydrogen. The formation of these [M(0)](n) nanoparticles is straightforward; they are prepared in dry ionic liquid whereas the presence of the water causes the partial decomposition of ionic liquid with the formation of phosphates, HF and transition-metal fluorides. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations and X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) show the formation of [Ir(0)](n) and [Rh(0)](n) nanoparticles with 2.0-2.5 nm in diameter. The isolated [M(0)](n) nanoparticles can be redispersed in the ionic liquid, in acetone or used in solventless conditions for the liquid-liquid biphasic, homogeneous or heterogeneous hydrogenation of arenes under mild reaction conditions (75 degrees C and 4 atm). The recovered iridium nanoparticles can be reused several times without any significant loss in catalytic activity. Unprecedented total turnover numbers (TTO) of 3509 in 32 h, for arene hydrogenation by nanoparticles catalysts, have been achieved in the reduction of benzene by the [Ir(0)](n) in solventless conditions. Contrarily, the recovered Rh(0) nanoparticles show significant agglomeration into large particles with a loss of catalytic activity. The hydrogenation of arenes containing functional groups, such as anisole, by the [Ir(0)](n) nanoparticles occurs with concomitant hydrogenolysis of the C-O bond, suggesting that these nanoparticles behave as "heterogeneous catalysts" rather than "homogeneous catalysts". 相似文献
Summary Sulfonylureas are widely used for the treatment of non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. Glibenclamide belongs to the group of substituted arylsulfonylureas. Many representative of this group shows polymorphism. The purpose of this work was to investigate the thermal behaviour and compatibility between glibenclamide and some excipients using thermoanalytical techniques (TG-DTG/DSC). In order to understand the patterns of the adsorption equilibrium of Cr (III) on activated carbon, the adsorption process
was studied by two different ways: classical batch experiments on commercial Norit and Merck activated carbons and their oxidized
forms in a wide range of pHs; and extended time-based tests at the same pH values on the same adsorbents. This approach allowed
us to understand the role of texture, chemical carbon surface functionality and experimental conditions (initial pH of the
solution, contact time and adsorbate/adsorbent ratio) on the effectiveness of Cr (III) removal. The adsorption process of
Cr (III) at (24 ± 1∘C) on Merck and Norit activated carbons and their oxidized forms were studied at pH values between 1.5 and 5 (either adjusted
or buffered). Chromium concentration was fixed at 200 ppm. The carbon loading ranged from 1.2 to 20 g/l. The carbon/Cr (III)
solution contact time was varied from 0.5–1 month to 5 months, to ensure that the saturation of the carbon level was reached.
According to the data obtained, the presence of carboxylic groups on carbon surface seems to enhance Cr (III) uptake at initial
pH of the solution in the range between 2 and 4. Depending on the nature of the adsorbent surface chemistry, the contact time
to reach equilibrium may range from 3 to 5 months. There is an optimum carbon loading which limits the Cr (III) uptake/removal
at given pH value. In order to understand the adsorption process, an ion exchange, surface complex and surface precipitation
were considered.

On the basis of a detailed study of the pilocarpine-induced nickel(II) pre-wave using various polarographic techniques, an electrode process mechanism is proposed in which the formation of a catalytic complex between aquo-nickel(II) and veronalate-nickel(II) on the one hand and unprotonated pilocarpine adsorbed on the electrode surface on the other is followed by the reduction of nickel(II) in the complex and the release of the catalytic ligand. The pre-peak recorded by differential-pulse polarography in the system 1 × 10?3 M Ni(II)-1 × 10?2 M sodium veronal, nitric acid (pH 8.5) (with ionic strength maintained at 0.2 with sodium nitrate) can be used for quantitative determination of pilocarpine at concentrations in the range 2.5 × 10?7-8 × 10?6 M. 相似文献

The synthesis and photochemistry of 3-oxo-3H-benzopyran derivatives linked through ester, anhydride, urethane and carbonate bonds to representative l-amino acids, at the amino and carboxylic acid groups at the main chain or the hydroxyl group at the side chain, were carried out. The stability to photolysis of the resulting conjugates was studied at different wavelengths of irradiation (254, 300 and 350 nm), the anhydride and ester linkages being the most sensitive in the studied conditions. 相似文献
We present a series of new inhibitors of the association between nuclear factor kappa B (NF-B) and the corresponding B site in DNA. They were designed using the lead compound 15-deoxy-12,14 -prostaglandin J2 (PGJ2), which is a natural product with demonstrated inhibitory efficiency for this system. First, the binding mode of PGJ2 to NF-B was unraveled by GOLD docking calculation. Subsequently, substitutions were made to PGJ2 to optimize its association with NF-B. Care was taken not to strongly increase the reactivity of the new compounds, and to keep the overall shape, size and hydrophilicity of the lead compound, which should render them a similar bioavailability. Molecular mechanics calculations were performed to decide on the suitability of the substitutions, and to evaluate the energies of association with NF-B. Density functional theory calculations were performed also to study the overall reactivity of the substituted drugs towards NF-B. Important general conclusions were obtained, concerning the improvement of these natural inhibitors; namely, a set of rational methodologies were deduced to improve the association between the PGJ2 derivatives and NF-B, and their efficiency demonstrated by generating a set of substituted complexes, some of them with a very much increased affinity for NF-B, opening new doors to enlarge the therapeutic capabilities of this class of drugs. 相似文献
Recently, Vakonakis and LiWang (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2004, 126, 5688) reported experimental evidence for stronger hydrogen bonds in RNA A:U than in DNA A:T base pairs, which was based on differences in NMR shielding for adenine C2. We have analyzed the proposed correlation between NMR shielding and hydrogen-bond strength using density functional theory. Although we agree with the conclusion that A:U is more strongly bound, we find no correlation between the hydrogen-bond strength and the NMR shielding of C2. Our study shows that NMR merely probes the presence/absence of the methyl group in thymine/uracil, without any relation to the strength of the hydrogen bonds involved. In other words, one cannot infer the Watson-Crick hydrogen-bond strength from the NMR shielding constant of adenine C2. 相似文献
Chitosan is alternated with sulfonated polystyrene (PSS) to build layer‐by‐layer (LBL) films that are used as sensing units in an electronic tongue. Using impedance spectroscopy as the principle method of detection, an array using chitosan/PSS LBL film and a bare gold electrode as the sensing units was capable of distinguishing the basic tastes – salty, sweet, bitter, and sour – to a concentration below the human threshold. The suitability of chitosan as a sensing material was confirmed by using this sensor to distinguish red wines according to their vintage, vineyard, and brands.
