The facile production of ArCF2X and ArCX3 from ArCF3 using catalytic iron(III)halides is reported, which constitutes the first iron-catalyzed halogen exchange for non-aromatic C−F bonds. Theoretical calculations suggest direct activation of C−F bonds by iron coordination. ArCX3 and ArCF2X products of the reaction are synthetically valuable due to their diversification potential. In particular, chloro- and bromodifluoromethyl arenes (ArCF2Cl, ArCF2Br respectively) provide access to a myriad of difluoromethyl arene derivatives (ArCF2R). To optimize for mono-halogen exchange, a statistical method called Design of Experiments was used. Optimized parameters were successfully applied to electron rich and electron deficient aromatic substrates, and to the late stage diversification of flufenoxuron, a commercial insecticide. These methods are highly practical, being run at convenient temperatures and using inexpensive common reagents.  相似文献

Electrochemical behaviors of individual carbon fibers coming from carbon felts were investigated using two different redox couples, 1,1′-dimethanolferrocene and potassium ferrocyanide. Electrochemical responses were examined after different oxidation treatments, then simulated and interpreted using the Kissa 1D software and existing models. Our experiments indicate that a crude carbon fiber behaves as an assembly of sites with different electrochemical reactivities. In such case, the Butler–Volmer law is not appropriate to describe the electron transfer kinetics because of the large created overpotential. Oxidation of the fiber erases the effect by increasing the kinetics of the electron transfer probably by a homogenization and increase of the reactivity on all the fiber. Additionally, analysis of the signal shows the large influence of the convection that affects the electrochemical response even at moderate scan rates (typically below 0.1–0.2 V s−1).  相似文献

A room-temperature procedure using saccharin as catalyst has been described for the cyclocondensation of different 1,2-arylenediamines with various 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds, yielding either quinoxalines or pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazines. The reactions proceed in very short reaction times in methanol, and the target heterocycles are isolated in quantitative yields after addition of water, filtration, and drying. Substituted pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazines can also be reached regioselectively by reacting α-ketoaldehydes with 2,3-diaminopyridine.

Following a bottom-up approach to nanomaterials, we present a rational synthetic route to high-spin and anisotropic molecules based on hexacyanometalate [M(CN)(6)](3-) cores. Part 1 of this series was devoted to isotropic heptanuclear clusters; herein, we discuss the nuclearity and the structural anisotropy of nickel(II) derivatives. By changing either the stoichiometry, the nature of the terminal ligand, or the counterion, it is possible to tune the nuclearity of the polynuclear compounds and therefore to control the structural anisotropy. We present the synthesis and the characterisation by mass spectrometry, X-ray crystallography and magnetic susceptibility of bi-, tri-, tetra-, hexa- and heptanuclear species [M(CN)(n)(CN-M'L)(6-n)](m+) (with n=0-5; M=Cr(III), Co(III), M'=Ni(II); L=pentadentate ligand). Thus, with M=Cr(III), d(3), S=3/2, a dinuclear complex [Cr(III)(CN)(5)(CN-NiL(n))](9+), (L(n)=polydentate ligand) was built and characterised, showing a spin ground state, S(G)=5/2, with a ferromagnetic interaction J(Cr,Cu)=+18.5 cm(-1). With M=Co(III) (d(6), S=0) were built di-, tri-, tetra-, hexa and hepanuclear CoNi species: CoNi, CoNi(2), CoNi(3), CoNi(5) and CoNi(6). By a first approximation, they behave as one, two, three, five and six isolated nickel(II) complexes, respectively, but more accurate studies allow us to evaluate the weak antiferromagnetic coupling constant between two next-nearest neighbours M'-Co-M'.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the analytical performance improvement of the coupled technique HPLC-ICPMS using on-line collision/reaction cell technology for selenium elemental and speciation analyses at the ng (Se) l(-1) level in aquatic environment. Collision/reaction cell operating parameters were optimised, resulting in selected conditions of 5.5 ml min(-1) H(2) and 0.5 ml min(-1) He mixture. The detection limits obtained were around 5 ng (Se) l(-1) for total analysis, and between 7 and 15 ng (Se) l(-1) depending on the species for speciation analysis. The capability of UV irradiation-hydride generation interfacing to increase detector sensitivity was also evaluated for speciation analysis. The detection limits obtained were in the range 2-8 ng (Se) l(-1) depending on the species. Moreover, such interface allowed to prevent bromine introduction to the ICPMS which is particularly convenient for selenium trace analysis in natural waters as (80)Se is preserved free from BrH interferences. The developed method was validated using certified water with low selenium content (TM Rain 95, NWRI, Canada) and applied to the analysis of different waters.  相似文献
