Molekülstrukturanalyse durch Circulardichroismus

The basic principles of the more important chiroptical methods (circular dichroism, ellipticity, optical rotatory dispersion) are presented, the general way for putting forward rules is outlined. Applications from “classical” (quantitative determination of abscisic acid, detection of impurities) and “structural analysis” (dibenzoate rule, cottonogenic derivatives of alcohols and amines, biopolymers) are given.
