Magnetic moment of a two-particle bound state in quantum electrodynamics

A quasipotential method for calculating relativistic and radiative corrections to the magnetic moment of a two-particle bound state is formulated for particles of arbitrary spin. It is shown that the expression for the g factors of bound particles involve O(α ²) terms depending on the particle spin. Numerical values are obtained for the g factors of the electron in the hydrogen atom and in deuterium.     

Logarithmic corrections in m 1/m 2 to the fine shift of the S-wave energy levels in the muonium atom

A α ⁵ μ ³ (m ₁ m ₂)^?1 (m ₁/m ₂)ln(m ₁/m ₂) correction stemming from a consecutive exchange of a Coulomb and a transverse photon between the muon and the electron of the muonium atom is revealed and calculated (μ is the reduced mass of the system). Additional contributions of order α ⁶ μ ³ (m ₁ m ₂)^?1ln(m ₁/m ₂) due to one-photon exchange in the muonium atom are taken into account.     

Spectral problem of the radial Schrödinger equation with confining power potentials

We suggest an approach in which the Schrödinger equation for several widely used potentials is reduced to the eigenvalue problem for an infinite system of algebraic equations. The method is convenient for both analytical and numerical calculations. With the help of this approach, the mass spectra of “charmonium” and “bottomonium” are calculated for the “Cornell” potential, and for the sum of the Coulomb and oscillator potentials. The method proposed allows one to determine the mass spectra of relativistic Schrödinger-type equations. Good agreement with experimental data is achieved.

Three-Dimensional Relativistic Approach to the Description of Recoil Effects in Hydrogen-like Systems of Particles with Unequal Masses

We describe a method for deriving logarithmic corrections in the mass ratio to the s-level energies of a hydrogen-like atom. With this method, a number of new corrections of this type are calculated analytically for the first time.     

Masses of light tetraquarks and scalar mesons in the relativistic quark model

Masses of the ground-state light tetraquarks are dynamically calculated in the framework of the relativistic diquark–antidiquark picture. The internal structure of the diquark is taken into account by calculating the form factor of the diquark–gluon interaction in terms of the overlap integral of the diquark wave functions. It is found that scalar mesons with masses below 1 GeV, f ₀(600) (σ), K ₀^*(800) (κ), f ₀(980) and a ₀(980), agree well with the light-tetraquark interpretation.
