A solid state polyvinyl chloride (PVC) membrane Li+-selective electrode was prepared and used as a detector in a low-dead volume flow through cell for the determination of Li+ in pharmaceutical formulations and human serum samples. The potentiometric performance characteristics of the electrode were calculated under the optimized flow conditions. The electrode had near-Nernstian behavior in the concentration range of 0.1–100 mM (R 2 = 0.9981) with a slope of 61.34 mV decade−1 and detection limit of 0.080 mM. The relative standard deviation of the electrode response for eight replicate measurements of 100, 10, and 1 mM Li+ was 0.43%, 0.45%, and 0.99%, respectively. The designed flow-through cell detector system revealed sampling rates of approximately 70 injections per hour. Flow injection potentiometry (FIP) results obtained for the pharmaceutical formulations were in good harmony with the atomic emission spectrophotometry results. However, the electrode could not be used successfully for the direct analysis of real serum samples in FIP.  相似文献

A novel glucose biosensor was constructed via direct covalent attachment of glucose oxidase onto epoxy group containing polymeric electron transfer mediator, Poly(glycidyl methacrylate‐co‐vinylferrocene). A copolymer of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and vinylferrocene (VFc) with different molar ratios has been prepared by free radical copolymerization. These copolymers have been utilized as polymeric mediators for amperometric glucose sensing. The catalytic electrochemistry of the enzyme electrode with the copolymer was investigated. Copolymer acts as an electron transfer mediator between the redox center of Glucose oxidase (GOx) and the electrode. The stability, reusability, pH and temperature response of the biosensor as well as its kinetic parameter have also been studied.  相似文献

In this paper, we continue our analysis of the treatment of multiple scattering effects within a recently proposed methodology, based on integral-equations, for the numerical solution of scattering problems at high frequencies. In more detail, here we extend the two-dimensional results in part I of this work to fully three-dimensional geometries. As in the former case, our concern here is the determination of the rate of convergence of the multiple-scattering iterations for a collection of three-dimensional convex obstacles that are inherent in the aforementioned high-frequency schemes. To this end, we follow a similar strategy to that we devised in part I: first, we recast the (iterated, Neumann) multiple-scattering series in the form of a sum of periodic orbits (of increasing period) corresponding to multiple reflections that periodically bounce off a series of scattering sub-structures; then, we proceed to derive a high-frequency recurrence that relates the normal derivatives of the fields induced on these structures as the waves reflect periodically; and, finally, we analyze this recurrence to provide an explicit rate of convergence associated with each orbit. While the procedure is analogous to its two-dimensional counterpart, the actual analysis is significantly more involved and, perhaps more interestingly, it uncovers new phenomena that cannot be distinguished in two-dimensional configurations (e.g. the further dependence of the convergence rate on the relative orientation of interacting structures). As in the two-dimensional case, and beyond their intrinsic interest, we also explain here how the results of our analysis can be used to accelerate the convergence of the multiple-scattering series and, thus, to provide significant savings in computational times.  相似文献

In the present paper, we shall give necessary and sufficient conditions for the Spanne and Adams type boundedness of the commutators of fractional maximal operator on generalized Orlicz–Morrey spaces, respectively. The main advance in comparison with the existing results is that we manage to obtain conditions for the boundedness not in integral terms but in less restrictive terms of supremal operators.  相似文献

Volatile compounds from seven Salvia species and one interspecific hybrid growing at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Texas, US. Salvia coccinea, S. farinacea, S. greggii, S. leucantha, S. longispicata x farinacea, S. madrensis, S. roemeriana and S. splendens were investigated for their chemical compositions using a microdistillation technique. Volatiles were analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). One hundred and twenty seven compounds were identified representing 94.3-99.7% of the oils. The major components in each of the seven species were as follows: S. coccinea (Z)-3-hexenal (31%), viridiflorol (19%); S. farinacea 1-octen-3-ol (30%) and (Z)-3-hexenal (23%); S. greggii 1,8-cineole (22%), borneol (17%), camphene (11%) and alpha-pinene (10%); S. leucantha limonene (35%) and alpha-pinene (17%); S. longispicata x farinacea 1-octen-3-ol (50%) and (Z)-3-hexenal (24%); S. madrensis (Z)-3-hexenal (53%); S. roemeriana limonene (49%) and alpha-pinene (20%); and S. splendens (Z)-3-hexenal (36%), 2,5-dimethoxy-p-cymene (19%) and linalool (11%). The microdistillation method was fast, practical and a useful technique that enabled the isolation of the volatiles in samples when only limited quantities were available.  相似文献

The intermolecular interactions and miscibility behavior between poly(ether imide) (Ultem®1000) and a copolyester of bisphenol-A with a mixture of terephthalic and isophthalic acid (Ardel®D-100) in compositions of 100/0, 80/20, 60/40, 40/60, 20/80 and 0/100 have been investigated in dilute solutions in chloroform. An Ubbelohde-type home-made viscometer was used to determine the specific viscosities of the blends in a constant temperature bath. Several viscosity interaction parameters used as the criteria of miscibility were determined from viscosity measurements. The parameters suggested that Ultem®1000 and Ardel®D-100 were miscible. The miscibility of the polymers was confirmed by the results of differential scanning calorimetry measurements.  相似文献

Predicting stock market (SM) trends is an issue of great interest among researchers, investors and traders since the successful prediction of SMs’ direction may promise various benefits. Because of the fairly nonlinear nature of the historical data, accurate estimation of the SM direction is a rather challenging issue. The aim of this study is to present a novel machine learning (ML) model to forecast the movement of the Borsa Istanbul (BIST) 100 index. Modeling was performed by multilayer perceptron–genetic algorithms (MLP–GA) and multilayer perceptron–particle swarm optimization (MLP–PSO) in two scenarios considering Tanh (x) and the default Gaussian function as the output function. The historical financial time series data utilized in this research is from 1996 to 2020, consisting of nine technical indicators. Results are assessed using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and correlation coefficient values to compare the accuracy and performance of the developed models. Based on the results, the involvement of the Tanh (x) as the output function, improved the accuracy of models compared with the default Gaussian function, significantly. MLP–PSO with population size 125, followed by MLP–GA with population size 50, provided higher accuracy for testing, reporting RMSE of 0.732583 and 0.733063, MAPE of 28.16%, 29.09% and correlation coefficient of 0.694 and 0.695, respectively. According to the results, using the hybrid ML method could successfully improve the prediction accuracy.  相似文献

The novel 4‐amino‐ or 4‐aryl‐substituted 2,4‐dihydro‐5‐[(4‐trifluoromethyl)phenyl]‐3H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐ones 3a – 3g were synthesized by reaction of N‐(ethoxycarbonyl)‐4‐(trifluoromethyl)benzenehydrazonic acid ethyl ester ( 2 ) and primary amines or hydrazine by microwave irradiation. Compounds 3a – 3g were potentiometrically titrated with tetrabutylammonium hydroxide (Bu4NOH) in four nonaqueous solvents, i.e., iPrOH, tBuOH, MeCN, and N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF). Also half‐neutralization potential values and the corresponding pKa values were determined in all cases.  相似文献

The potential applications of Achillea species in various industries have encouraged the examination of their phytochemical components along with their biological potential. In the present study, phenolic contents and essential oil compositions together with the in vitro biological activities of the aerial parts from Achillea biebersteinii Afan. and Achillea millefolium subsp. millefolium Afan. collected from Turkey were evaluated. Different solvent extracts (n-hexane, chloroform, methanol, water) were prepared and their antimicrobial, anticholinesterase, and antioxidant activities were studied. The LC-MS/MS results revealed the presence of 16 different phenolic compounds, including chlorogenic acid, rutin, quercetin, and luteolin glycosides, in methanolic extracts. According to GC-FID and GC/MS results, the primary components of the oils were identified as 1,8-cineole (32.5%), piperitone (14.4%), and camphor (13.7%) in A. biebersteinii and 1,8-cineole (12.3%) and β-eudesmol (8.9%) in A. millefolium subsp. millefolium. The infusion and methanolic extracts of both species were found to be rich in their total phenolic content as well as their antioxidant and anticholinesterase activity. In contrast, the n-hexane and chloroform extracts of both species showed strong antimicrobial activity with MIC values ranging from 15 to 2000 μg/mL. Our findings suggest that the investigated Achillea species could be evaluated as potent natural agents, and further studies into the promising extracts are needed.  相似文献
