Multiplication of hydroxyl and formaldehyde planar laser-induced fluorescence signals for turbulent hydrogen-enriched methane–air flames with compositionally inhomogeneous mixtures is investigated experimentally. Hydrogen-enriched methane–air flames with a global fuel–air equivalence ratio of 0.8 and hydrogen-enrichment percentage of 60% are examined. Two nozzles, each containing 4 fuel/air injection lobes are used in the experiments. The lobes of the first nozzle are straight, while those of the second nozzle are not, generating a swirling motion. The fuel is injected through several small diameter holes into the lobes. The amount of injected fuel flow rate varies between the lobes, generating stratified conditions. For each nozzle, two mean bulk flow velocities of 5 and 25 m/s are tested. Simultaneous hydroxyl and formaldehyde planar laser-induced fluorescence as well as separate stereoscopic particle image velocimetry are performed for the tested reacting conditions. For non-reacting flow tests, separate particle image velocimetry and acetone planar laser-induced fluorescence experiments are conducted to study the background turbulent flow characteristics and fuel/air mixing, respectively. The results show that stratification can lead to fragmentation of the flames and generation of islands with noticeable multiplication of hydroxyl and formaldehyde planar laser-induced fluorescence signals. Due to their significantly large number of occurrences, such flame structure can generate relatively large integral of the PLIF signals multiplication.

This work is a first study on extraction efficiency and thermal stability of nano-structured self-doped polyaniline (SPAN) as a coating of solid-phase microextraction (SPME) fibers. SPAN-based fibers were prepared using electrochemical deposition on platinum wires. The particle sizes of prepared nano-structure were in the range of 50–100 nm. Extraction properties of the fiber to 1,4-dioxane were examined using headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) coupled to gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (GC-FID). The results have proved higher thermal stability of the proposed fiber compared to common PANI fiber. The SPAN coating was proved to be very stable at relatively high temperatures (up to 350 °C) with high extraction capacity and long lifespan (more than 50 times). Therefore, it can be a good substitute of polyaniline (PANI) as a SPME coating. The extraction procedure was optimized by selecting the appropriate extraction parameters including extraction time, extraction temperature, salt concentration, stirring rate and headspace volume. Calibration graph was linear in the concentration range of 1–100 ng mL−1 (R2 > 0.993) with detection limit of 0.1 ng mL−1. Single fiber and fiber-to-fiber repeatability were lower than 6.0% and 10.4%, respectively. Different water samples were analyzed as real samples and good recoveries (98–120%) were obtained.  相似文献

The phosphorus ylides Ph3PCHC(O)C6H4R (R = 4-Me 1a, 4-Br 1b) react with PdCl2 in equimolar ratios to give the C,C-orthopalladated [Pd{CHP(C6H4)Ph2CO-C6H4-R)}(μ-Cl)]2 (R = 4-Me 2a, 4-Br 2b) which react with NaClO4/dppe, NaClO4/dppm, py and PPh3 to give the mononuclear derivatives [Pd{CH{P(C6H4)Ph2}COC6H4-R}(dppe-P,P′)[(ClO4) (R = 4-Me 3a, 4-Br 3b), [Pd{CH{P(C6H4)Ph2}COC6H4-R}(dppm-P,P′)[(ClO4 ( (R = 4-Me 4a, 4-Br 4b), [Pd{CH{P(C6H4)Ph2}COC6H4-R}Cl(L)] (L = py, R = 4-Me 5a, 4-Br 5b, L = PPh3, R = 4-Me 6a, 4-Br 6b). The C, C-metalated chelate are demonstrated by an X-ray diffraction study of 3a and 4a. Characterization of the obtained compounds was also performed by elemental analysis, IR, 1H, 31P, and 13C NMR.  相似文献

In this paper, the effect of doping concentration and layer thickness on the performance of tunnel junctions (TJs) is studied. We investigate the behavior of single, double and triple layer structures of TJs. Triple layer structure shows better performance in comparison with the other structures and can reach the higher tunneling current besides lower voltage drop. Also, the behavior of the triple layer TJ with different doping concentration profiles is studied. We propose a new normal distribution profile for doping concentration in multilayer TJs which shows better performance in comparison with the linear and graded doping concentration profiles. The higher $\upalpha $ parameters in normal distribution enhance the device performance with increasing the smoothness of doping variations in the center and edge of the TJ. Finally, we examine different thicknesses of triple layer TJ in order to achieve the optimum structure.  相似文献

Estimation of states and unknown inputs simultaneously can be done by Proportional-Integral-Observer (PIO). This observer is used in nonlinear and robust control. It has additional integral feedback loop in comparison with the usual Luenberger observer. Increasing the gain of this observer the performance would be increased, however due to this high gain the performance is influenced by measurement noise. Advanced PI-Observer (API) algorithm is a method which is used for scheduling the optimal gain of PI-Observer based on the cost function and by using a bank of PI-Observer. In this contribution the proposed method obtains relative optimal gain by using a given cost function. Afterwards the absolute optimal gain is computed by changing the design parameters at each step based on the desired performance criteria. The absolute optimal gain is found instead of relative optimal gain in comparison with the API-Observer. Simulation results estimating contact forces acting to a vibrating elastic beam based on indirect measurements illustrate the improvement of the proposed method. (© 2014 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. In this paper, multilayer antireflection coatings are designed by modifying the thickness of two and three paired layer distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) structure. Our proposed DBR-based structures show antireflection behaviors, in spite of the reflection treatment in traditional DBR structures. Firstly, the proposed structures are designed to be equivalent to the theoretical ideal triple-layer (TL) antireflection coating (ARC). Therefore, the problem of finding a suitable material for the middle layer of triple structure is solved. Simulation results show the significant equivalency for the reflectance of proposed structures to the ideal TL ARC at the same wavelengths and incident angles. Also, the design of the structure is changed in order to present the constant reflectance coefficient over a wide range of wavelengths. This structure enhances the omni-directionality of the multilayer ARC.  相似文献

Multi-resolution digital rock physics (DRP) makes it possible to up-scale petrophysical properties from micron size to core sample size using two-dimensional (2D) thin section images. Resolution of 3D images and sample size are challenging problems in DRP where high-resolution images are acquired from small samples using inefficient and expensive micro-CT facilities. Three-dimensional stochastic reconstruction is an alternative approach to overcome these challenges. In this paper, we use multi-resolution images and investigate effect of 2D image resolution on 3D stochastic reconstruction and development of petrophysical trends for our two sandstone and carbonate original representative volume elements (RVEs). The proposed method includes three steps. In the first step, the spatial resolution of our original RVEs is decreased synthetically. In the second step, stochastic RVEs are realized for each resolution using two perpendicular images, correlation functions, and phase recovery algorithm. In the reconstruction method, a full set of two-point correlation functions (TPCFs) is extracted from two perpendicular 2D images. Then TPCF vectors are decomposed and averaged to realize 3D stochastic RVEs. In the third step, petrophysical properties like relative and absolute permeability as well as porosity and formation factor are computed. The output is used to develop trends for petrophysical properties in different resolutions. Experimental results illustrate that the proposed method can be used to predict petrophysical properties and reconstruct 3D RVEs for resolutions unavailable in the acquired 2D or 3D data.  相似文献

We study gravitational baryogenesis in the context of f(R, T) gravity where the gravitational Lagrangian is given by a generic function of the Ricci scalar R and the trace of the stress-energy tensor T. We explore how this type of modified gravity is capable to shed light on the issue of baryon asymmetry in a successful manner. We consider various forms of baryogenesis interaction and discuss the effect of these interaction terms on the baryon to entropy ratio in this setup. We show that baryon asymmetry during the radiation era of the expanding universe can be non-zero in this framework. Then, we calculate the baryon to entropy ratio for some specific f(R, T) models and by using the observational data, we give some constraints on the parameter spaces of these models.  相似文献

A thermodynamically guided calculation of free energies of substrate and product molecules allows for the estimation of the yields of organic reactions. The non‐ideality of the system and the solvent effects are taken into account through the activity coefficients calculated at the molecular level by perturbed‐chain statistical associating fluid theory (PC‐SAFT). The model is iteratively trained using a diverse set of reactions with yields that have been reported previously. This trained model can then estimate a priori the yields of reactions not included in the training set with an accuracy of ca. ±15 %. This ability has the potential to translate into significant economic savings through the selection and then execution of only those reactions that can proceed in good yields.  相似文献

Reaction of Ph3PCHCOC6H4Me (L), with HgX2 and CdCl2·H2O in methanol with equimolar ratios give binuclear complexes of the type [MX(μ-X){CH(PPh3)C(O)C6H4Me}]2 (M = Hg; X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (3), M = Cd; Cl(4)). The bridge-splitting reaction of binuclear complexes [MX(μ-X){CH(PPh3)C(O)C6H4Me}]2 by dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) yields the mononuclear complexes [MX2{CH(PPh3)C(O)C6H4Me}(OSMe2)] (M = Hg; X = Cl (5), Br (6), I (7), M = Cd; Cl (8)). The characterization of these complexes was carried out by elemental analysis and FT-IR, 1H, 31P, and 13C NMR spectroscopies. C-coordination of ylide and O-coordination of DMSO are demonstrated by single-crystal X-ray analysis of mononuclear complex of [HgBr2{CH(PPh3)C(O)C6H4Me}(OSMe2)] (6). Complex 6 is monomeric with tetrahedral geometry around the metal ion.  相似文献
