Some Properties On Isoclinism in n-Lie Algebras

The concept of n-Lie algebra were introduced by Filippov in 1987. One notes that not all properties of Lie algebras can be carried over to n-Lie algebras, as Williams showed in 2009. In the present article, among other results it is shown that the notions of isoclinism and isomorphism for two finite dimensional n-Lie algebras of the same dimension are equivalent. This was already done for ordinary Lie algebras by Moneyhun in 1994.     

Poly(<Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis>-octyl methacrylate) viscosity index improver: Kinetic study via on-line <Superscript>1</Superscript>H-NMR technique

The free radical solution polymerization of n-octyl methacrylate has been studied in benzene-d ₆ in the presence of 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile as thermal initiator. An on-line nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy was applied to record the reaction data and to determine the monomer conversion at different times during the polymerization reaction. Effect of monomer and initiator concentration as well as reaction temperature on polymerization rate was studied. The order of the reaction with respect to initiator (0.45) was consistent with the classical kinetic rate equation, while the order of reaction with respect to monomer (1.87) was much greater than unity. An overall activation energy (E _a = 53.8 kJ/mol) was obtained over the temperature range 328?338 K. Also, the efficiency of the synthesized poly(n-octyl methacrylate) for improving the viscosity index of the lube oil was investigated.     

Analytical and statistical calculation of gamma dose rate for the accident of losing the shield for Tehran Research Reactor

In this paper we study the analytical and statistical results of estimating the gamma dose rate at pool access floor in TRR when the core shield accidentally decreases to some non-permitted levels. Due to the risk of experimental techniques, we use the analytical and statistical methods. In normal conditions (no risk),the discrepancies between experiment and two methods are justified and it is found that for such problems we have to normalize these methods to experimental results as follows: the analytical method by factor 0.13 and MCNP by 1.7.

Electrochemical Oxidation of Nortriptyline and Its Voltammetric Sensing at a Carbon Ionic Liquid Electrode

The electrochemical oxidation of nortriptyline at a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) was investigated. Nortriptyline is electrochemically inactive on conventional electrodes but CILE exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity toward oxidation of nortriptyline with the well-defined anodic peak at 860 mV. This characteristic was attributed to the outstanding conductivity and electrocatalytic effect of the ionic liquid, 1-octylpyridinum hexaflourophosphate, used as a binder in the construction of the electrode. The influence of experimental parameters such as pH and sweep rate was also studied. The quantitative determination of nortriptyline was performed using differential pulse voltammetry technique. Under selected conditions the anodic peak current was linear to nortriptyline concentration in the ranges of 4.8 × 10^–6 to 2.4 × 10^–5 M and 2.4 × 10^–5 to 6.4 × 10^–5 M, with correlation coefficients of 0.9992 and 09949, respectively. The detection limit was 3 × 10^–7 M.     

Novel reaction of N,N'-bisarylmethanediamines with formaldehyde. Synthesis of some new 1,3,5-triaryl-1,3,5-hexahydrotriazines

The acid-catalyzed cyclocondensation of N,N'-bisaryl (aryl = 2-pyrimidinyl, 2-pyrazinyl and 4-nitrophenyl) methanediamines 5a-c with aqueous formaldehyde in refluxing acetonitrile leads to the formation of the corresponding 1,3,5-triaryl-1,3,5-hexa-hydrotriazines 6a-c. The stoichiometric reactions of 2-aminopyrimidine and 2-amino-pyrazine with aqueous formaldehyde in acetonitrile under reflux conditions also afforded 6a and 6b, respectively. Treatment of 2-aminopyrimidine with aqueous formaldehyde in a 3:2 ratio yielded N,N',N"-tris(2-pyrimidinyl)dimethylenetriamine (7a) as a sole product, which upon subsequent reaction with formaldehyde also afforded 6a. The reaction of N,N'-biphenylmethanediamine with formaldehyde was also investigated.     

An efficient cubic B-spline and bicubic B-spline collocation method for numerical solutions of multidimensional nonlinear stochastic quadratic integral equations

This paper aims to develop a novel numerical approach on the basis of B-spline collocation method to approximate the solution of one-dimensional and two-dimensional nonlinear stochastic quadratic integral equations. The proposed approach is based on the hybrid of collocation method, cubic B-spline, and bi-cubic B-spline interpolation and Itô approximation. Using this method, the problem solving turns into a nonlinear system solution of equations that is solved by a suitable numerical method. Also, the convergence analysis of this numerical approach has been discussed. In the end, examples are given to test the accuracy and the implementation of the method. The results are compared with the results obtained by other methods to verify that this method is accurate and efficient.     

An approach to best proximity points results via simulation functions

In this paper, we investigate of the existence of the best proximity points of certain mapping defined via simulation functions in the frame of complete metric spaces. We consider the uniqueness criteria for such mappings. The obtained results unify a number of the existing results on the topic in the literature.
