Precision measurements of 26 individual spectral lines of ozone near 9.5 μm were made using the GSFC infrared heterodyne spectrometer. The line profiles of 26 lines in near coincidence with the emission lines from a 12C16O2 laser local oscillator were measured at resolving powers of 6 × 106. The retrieved absolute line center frequencies, accurate to ±3 MHz, and the relative line intensities were compared to previous experimental results and theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Abstract— The kinetics and the direct, the 9,10-dibromo- (DBA) and the 9,10-diphenylanthracene- (DPA) enhanced chemiluminescence of tert-butyl α-peroxylactone 1, with and without α-deuteration, was investigated in order to probe the mechanism of direct chemiexcitation by these hyperenergetic molecules. The small secondary isotope effect on the rates and activation parameters suggests that a diradical mechanism is obtained. The partitioning of the diradical intermediate into excited vs ground state product and the yield of triplet excited product are moderately (ca. 5-fold) increased by α-deuteration, but the singlet yield is unaffected. A convenient and useful chemiluminescence method for the determination of fluorescence quantum yields has been developed.  相似文献

Dissociative nuclear motion in core-excited molecular states leads to a splitting of the fragment Auger lines: the Auger-Doppler effect. We present here for the first time experimental evidence for an Auger-Doppler effect following F1s → a(1g)* inner-shell excitation by circularly polarized x rays in SF(6). In spite of a uniform distribution of the dissociating S-F bonds near the polarization plane of the light, the intersection between the subpopulation of molecules selected by the core excitation with the cone of dissociation induces a strong anisotropy in the distribution of the S-F bonds that contributes to the scattering profile measured in the polarization plane.  相似文献

In this work, we present a study of the magneto transport properties in magnetic multilayered structure $\text{ Ni }_{81}\text{ Fe }_{19}\text{/Zr }$ Ni 81 Fe 19 /Zr . The magnetic $(\text{ Ni }_{81}\text{ Fe }_{19})$ ( Ni 81 Fe 19 ) and non magnetic (Zr) layer thickness $(\mathbf{t}_\mathbf{NiFe}, \mathbf{t}_\mathbf{zr})$ ( t NiFe , t zr ) effects on the magneto resistance (MR) are discussed theoretically in the framework of the Johnson–Camley semi classical approach based on the Boltzmann transport equation. A comparison between calculated and measured MR is obtained. The observed MR ratio oscillates for Zr layer thickness with an average period of 7Å. A generally weak $\text{ MR }(\text{ t }_{\mathrm{NiFe}})$ MR ( t NiFe ) ratio for fixed $\mathbf{t}_\mathbf{zr}$ t zr is obtained and it shows a maxima peak of the MR with a value of 1.8 % located at $\mathbf{t}_\mathbf{NiFe}= 80$ t NiFe = 80 Å.  相似文献

We apply optical manipulation to prepare lipid bilayers between pairs of water droplets immersed in an oil matrix. These droplet pairs have a well-defined geometry allowing the use of droplet shape analysis to perform quantitative studies of the dynamics during bilayer formation and to determine time-dependent values for the droplet volumes, bilayer radius, bilayer contact angle, and droplet center-line approach velocity. During bilayer formation, the contact angle rises steadily to an equilibrium value determined by the bilayer adhesion energy. When there is a salt concentration imbalance between droplets, there is a measurable change in the droplet volume. We present an analytical expression for this volume change and use this expression to calculate the bilayer permeability to water.  相似文献

Learning and memory are essential to organism survival and are conserved across various species, especially vertebrates. Cognitive studies involving learning and memory require using appropriate model organisms to translate relevant findings to humans. Zebrafish are becoming increasingly popular as one of the animal models for neurodegenerative diseases due to their low maintenance cost, prolific nature and amenability to genetic manipulation. More importantly, zebrafish exhibit a repertoire of neurobehaviors comparable to humans. In this review, we discuss the forms of learning and memory abilities in zebrafish and the tests used to evaluate the neurobehaviors in this species. In addition, the pharmacological studies that used zebrafish as models to screen for the effects of neuroprotective and neurotoxic compounds on cognitive performance will be summarized here. Lastly, we discuss the challenges and perspectives in establishing zebrafish as a robust model for cognitive research involving learning and memory. Zebrafish are becoming an indispensable model in learning and memory research for screening neuroprotective agents against cognitive impairment.  相似文献

Summary A systematic study of the effect of substitution on the thermodynamic stability of the 11 complexes which the UO 2 II ion forms in aqueous media with salicylic acid and ten monosubstituted salicylic acids has been carried out using a new spectrophotometric method.
