The reaction of [CpRuCl(PPh3)2] (Cp=cyclopentadienyl) and [CpRuCl(dppe)] (dppe=Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) with bis‐ and tris‐phosphine ligands 1,4‐(Ph2PC≡C)2C6H4 ( 1 ) and 1,3,5‐(Ph2PC≡C)3C6H3 ( 2 ), prepared by Ni‐catalysed cross‐coupling reactions between terminal alkynes and diphenylchlorophosphine, has been investigated. Using metal‐directed self‐assembly methodologies, two linear bimetallic complexes, [{CpRuCl(PPh3)}2(μ‐dppab)] ( 3 ) and [{CpRu(dppe)}2(μ‐dppab)](PF6)2 ( 4 ), and the mononuclear complex [CpRuCl(PPh3)(η1‐dppab)] ( 6 ), which contains a “dangling arm” ligand, were prepared (dppab=1,4‐bis[(diphenylphosphino)ethynyl]benzene). Moreover, by using the triphosphine 1,3,5‐tris[(diphenylphosphino)ethynyl]benzene (tppab), the trimetallic [{CpRuCl(PPh3)}33‐tppab)] ( 5 ) species was synthesised, which is the first example of a chiral‐at‐ruthenium complex containing three different stereogenic centres. Besides these open‐chain complexes, the neutral cyclic species [{CpRuCl(μ‐dppab)}2] ( 7 ) was also obtained under different experimental conditions. The coordination chemistry of such systems towards supramolecular assemblies was tested by reaction of the bimetallic precursor 3 with additional equivalents of ligand 2 . Two rigid macrocycles based on cis coordination of dppab to [CpRu(PPh3)] were obtained, that is, the dinuclear complex [{CpRu(PPh3)(μ‐dppab)}2](PF6)2 ( 8 ) and the tetranuclear square [{CpRu(PPh3)(μ‐dppab)}4](PF6)4 ( 9 ). The solid‐state structures of 7 and 8 have been determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis and show a different arrangement of the two parallel dppab ligands. All compounds were characterised by various methods including ESIMS, electrochemistry and by X‐band ESR spectroscopy in the case of the electrogenerated paramagnetic species.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) has been used to define the energy profiles of the Nazarov reaction involving cyclic systems. The calculations were carried out at the B3LYP/6-311G** level of theory and the solvent (dichloromethane) contribution was estimated by using the recently developed SM5.43R solvation model. DFT calculations were first carried out to determine the energy profiles associated with the electrocyclization reactions of 3-hydroxy- and 3-ethoxypentadienyl cations in which one of the double bonds is embedded in O-heterocyclic and carbocyclic systems. In particular, the effects on the reaction rate of modifications to the substrate, as well as the presence of the heteroatom in the cycle, have been investigated. The torquoselectivity of the electrocyclization reaction was then explored with substituted O-heterocycles to understand the factors that control the stereochemical outcome of the process that preferentially provides 2,5-trans-disubstituted products. These DFT-based results rationally explain most of the experimental observations related to the Nazarov reaction of the substrates herein investigated and could be useful in the rational interpretation, and likely in the prediction, of the outcome of Nazarov reactions involving other cyclic systems.  相似文献

The endogenous nitrate concentration in fresh meat and the residual nitrate and nitrite contents after curing are related to food quality and safety. Most ion chromatography (IC) methods suffer from interferences, especially in fresh meat samples, in which the endogenous nitrate content is low, and in cured meat products, in which other nitrogenous compounds can interfere with the separation of inorganic anions. One of the major classes of interfering compounds in fresh meat are sugar phosphates, which originate from glycolysis during the conversion of muscle glycogen to lactic acid. Nitrate can be separated from interfering compounds with a high-capacity anion-exchange column that was manufactured for use with hydroxide eluents (i.e., hydroxide-selective). This column has a different selectivity than traditional IC columns that use carbonate eluents and facilitates the determination of nitrate in both fresh and cured meats. Nitrate was detected by both suppressed conductivity measurement and mass spectrometry (MS). The identifications of nitrate and glucose-6-phosphate were confirmed by MS detection. The described IC/MS method is robust, sensitive to nitrate concentrations as low as 0.10 mg/kg, and can determine sugar phosphates that are useful for monitoring meat freshness. We successfully used this method to determine nitrate in nearly 100 muscle tissues and cured meat samples.  相似文献

Hyperthermia (HT) is a therapeutic strategy based on the selective damaging of tumoral cells when heated at temperatures in the range 41-45 degrees C. We are currently investigating the feasibility of Ultrasound (US) imaging to perform a non-invasive, efficient and cost effective temperature monitoring of heated tissues. Commercial US contrast agents (Sonovue, Bracco), consisting in microbubbles of SF(6) coated with a phospholipidic shell, greatly improve the US echo signal from tissues. Further investigations have been performed, consisting in physico-chemical and US-imaging characterization. In conclusion, we demonstrate that Sonovue microbubbles reach their maximal diameter at 40 degrees C, and then a sharp decrease is observed, possible due to the occurrence of gel-sol transition of the phospholipidic shell. At the same temperature the maximal backscattering intensity is predicted and actually experimentally observed. Sonovue, as well as other contrast agents based only on phospholipids, are, therefore, not suitable for use as non-invasive temperature monitoring medium since it is sensitive to temperatures below the hyperthermic range. Although microbubbles are in principle thermally effective, other coating materials should be investigated in order to increase their operative thermal range.  相似文献

Discoid Lupus Erythematosus (DLE) is a chronic cutaneous disease of unknown etiology and of immunoinflammatory origin that is characterized by inflammatory plaques and may lead to disfiguring scarring and skin atrophy. Current treatments are limited, with a large proportion of patients either poorly or not responsive, which makes DLE an unmet medical need. Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) is the prototype of a pleiotropic family of cytokine that also includes the recently discovered homologue D-dopachrome tautomerase (DDT) or MIF2. MIF and DDT/MIF-2 exert several biological properties, primarily, but not exclusively of a proinflammatory nature. MIF and DDT have been suggested to play a key role in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and type 1 diabetes, as well as in the development and progression of certain forms of cancers. In the present study, we have performed an immunohistochemistry analysis for the evaluation of MIF in DLE lesions and normal skin. We found high levels of MIF in the basal layer of the epidermis as well as in the cutaneous appendage (eccrine glands and sebocytes) of normal skin. In DLE lesions, we observed a significant negative correlation between the expression of MIF and the severity of inflammation. In addition, we performed an analysis of MIF and DDT expression levels in the skin of DLE patients in a publicly available microarray dataset. Interestingly, while these in silico data only evidenced a trend toward reduced levels of MIF, they demonstrated a significant pattern of expression and correlation of DDT with inflammatory infiltrates in DLE skins. Overall, our data support a protective role for endogenous MIF and possibly DDT in the regulation of homeostasis and inflammation in the skin and open up novel avenues for the treatment of DLE.  相似文献

The inclusive cross sections for η production by the interactions of 280 GeV/c momentum π?, π+, and proton beams in hydrogen have been measured. The kinematical range covered is ?0.45<x F <0.45, and 4.0<P T <7.0 GeV/c for Feynmanx F and transverse momentum respectively. The η to π0 cross section ratios are given for the three reactions. The ratio of π? p to π+ p cross sections for η production in the above kinematic ranges is 1.22±0.08±0.11.  相似文献

Three alkylcarbonates of γ-cyclodextrin, i.e. hexyl, octyl and dodecylcarbonate, were synthesized and characterized, with the goal of formulating solid nanoparticles. The series of alkylcarbonates showed amphiphilic properties and were capable of forming micelles and nanoparticles. Blank and drug-loaded alkylcarbonate nanoparticles were prepared with each alkylcarbonate, using the solvent injection technique. Progesterone was chosen as model drug. The sizes of both unloaded and loaded nanoparticles were in the 80–200 nm range, with narrow size distribution and spherical shape, as shown by TEM analysis. The zeta potentials of unloaded nanoparticles were in the −20 to −24.0 mV range, and were slightly decreased in loaded nanoparticles. Drug-loading capacity was good; DSC analysis did not detect the progesterone melting peak, indicating the drug had interacted with the cyclodextrin alkylcarbonates. In vitro release kinetics of progesterone from the three types of nanoparticles were slow. These results indicate that γ-CD alkylcarbonate nanoparticles might be used as prolonged drug delivery system.  相似文献
