Kinetics of the reaction between phenylacetylene and the complex of decaborane with diethyl sulfide

Conclusions The manometric method was used to study the kinetics of the reaction of phenylacetylene with the complex of decaborane and diethyl sulfide, with the formation of 1-phenyl-o-carborane. Palladium hydrogenation catalysts modified with aluminum-and phosphorus-containing compounds and with alcohols: Effect of modifiers

The catalytic properties of nanosize catalysts derived from Pd(acac)₂ and triethylaluminum in hydrogenation of organic substrates were studied, and the optimal conditions for the catalyst preparation were found. The maximum observed on the plot of the catalyst specific activity vs. Al/Pd ratio was explained by experiments.     

Unusual Reaction of Tetrachlorocyclopentadienone Dimer with Secondary Amines

Tetrachlorocyclopentadienone dimer reacts with secondary amines to afford unusual products, tricyclic 6-oxo-1,1a,3a,6-tetrahydrocyclopropa[c]pentalene-1-carboxamide derivatives.     

Syntheses and structures of structurally diverse potassium beta-diketiminates derived from the ligand [(N(SiMe3)C(Ph))2CH

The compounds [K((mu-N(SiMe3)C(Ph))2CH)(thf)2]infinity 1, [K(mu-N(SiMe3)C(Ph)C(H)C(Ph)NH)L]2 [L = (thf)2 2, tmen 3], [K(mu-NSi(Me)2C(Ph)C(H)C(Ph)N)(thf)3]2 4 and [K(N(H)C(Ph))2CH](thf)0.5 5 have been prepared from K[(N(SiMe3)C(Ph))2CH] and the X-ray structures of 1-4 are reported.     

Extractive substances of the bark of Picea ajanensis

A study of the chemical composition of a petroleum ether extract of the bark of Yeddo spruce growing in Khabarovsk Territory has shown that the neutral fraction of the extract contained waxes, glycerides, diterpenoids — epimanool, cis- and trans-abienols, and phyllocladenol, and triterpenoids — the epimeric 3α-and 3β-methoxy-21-hydroxy-Δ¹⁴-serratenes and a ketone which has been ascribed the structure of 21-keto-3β-methoxy-Δ¹⁴-serratene.     

Intensities of IR bands of CH stretching vibrations and atomic charges in saturated three-membered rings

The intensities of the absorption bands of the CH stretching vibrations in the IR spectra of solutions of cyclopropane, aziridine, oxirane, and thiirane in CCl₄ were measured.
