A chromatographic procedure for the determination of oxytetracycline (OTC), tetracycline (TC), chlorotetracycline (CTC), and doxycycline (DC) in medicated feedingstuffs was developed. Samples were extracted with 0.01 M citric buffer/acetonitrile (pH 3.0) and further purified with 0.45 μm syringe filters. The purified extract was separated on Thermo column C18, 150?×?4 mm, 5 μm and detection was carried out at 360 nm for OTC, and TC, 370 nm for CTC, and 350 nm for DC. TCs were eluted with a mobile phase of 0.03 M SDS/7 % 1-butanol/0.02 M oxalic acid/NaOH at pH 2.5. This method provided average recoveries of 80.4 % to 100.2 %, with CVs of 0.5 % to 6.6 % in the range of 50 to 1500 mg/kg OTC, TC, CTC, and DC in feeds. The linearity for the four TCs was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector (HPLC-DAD) in the range 10–300 μg/mL (50–1500 mg/kg), with a linear correlation coefficient (R)?>?0.99. The LOD and LOQ for TCs in pig and poultry feeds ranged from 4.0 to 10.7 and 4.7 to 12.6 mg/kg, respectively. The methodology was applied to the analysis of animal feedingstuffs collected from poultry and pig farms.

Rapid chromatographic procedure for quantification of five sulfonamides in medicated feeds are proposed. Satisfactory separation of sulfonamides from medicated feeds was achieved using a Zorbax Eclipse XDB C18 column (4.6 × 150 mm, 5 µm particle size) with a micellar mobile phase consisting of 0.05 M sodium dodecyl sulphate, 0.02 M phosphate buffer, and 6% propan-2-ol (pH 3). UV quantitation was set at 260 nm. The proposed procedure allows the determination of sulfaguanidine, sulfadiazine, sulfamerazine, sulfamethazine, and sulfamethoxazole in medicated feeds for pigs and poultry. Application of the proposed method to the analysis of five pharmaceuticals gave recoveries between 72.7% to 94.7% and coefficients of variations for repeatability and reproducibility between 2.9% to 9.8% respectively, in the range of 200 to 2000 mg/kg sulfonamides in feeds. Limit of detection and limit of quantification were 32.7–56.3 and 54.8–98.4 mg/kg, respectively, depending on the analyte. The proposed procedure for the quantification of sulfonamides is simple, rapid, sensitive, free from interferences and suitable for the routine control of feeds. In the world literature, we did not find the described method of quantitative determination of sulfonamides in medicated feeds with the use of micellar liquid chromatography.  相似文献

A series of pentafluorosulfanyl-substituted acrylic esters and amides have been synthesized in moderate to good yields from 3-pentafluorosulfanyl-prop-2-enol employing a chromic oxidation and subsequent coupling reaction. New pentafluorosulfanyl-substituted allylsilanes were also obtained from a SF5-Cl addition on allylsilanes followed by a β-elimination reaction.  相似文献

The graphene anode was investigated in an ionic liquid electrolyte (0.7 M lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiNTf2)) in room temperature ionic liquid (N-methyl-N-propylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (MPPyrNTf2)). SEM and TEM images suggested that the electrochemical intercalation/deintercalation process in the ionic liquid electrolyte without vinylene carbonate (VC) leads to small changes on the surface of graphene particles. However, a similar process in the presence of VC results in the formation of a coating (SEI—solid electrolyte interface) on the graphene surface. During charging/discharging tests, the graphene electrode working together with the 0.7 M LiNTf2 in MPPyrNTf2 electrolyte lost its capacity, during cycling and stabilizes at ca. 200 mAh g?1 after 20 cycles. The addition of VC to the electrolyte (0.7 M LiNTf2 in MPPyrNTf2?+?10 wt.% VC) considerably increases the anode capacity. Electrodes were tested at different current regimes: ranging between 50 and 1,000 mA g?1. The capacity of the anode, working at a low current regime of 50 mA g?1, was ca. 1,250 mAh g?1, while the current of 500 mA g?1 resulted in capacity of 350 mAh g?1. Coulombic efficiency was stable and close to 95 % during ca. 250 cycles. The exchange current density, obtained from impedance spectroscopy, was 1.3?×?10?7 A cm?2 (at 298 K). The effect of the anode capacity decrease with increasing current rate was interpreted as the result of kinetic limits of the electrode operation.  相似文献

Several medicinally important compounds that bind to dsDNA strands via intercalation (C-1311, C-1305, EtBr), major groove binding (Hoechst 33258) and covalent binding (cis-Pt) were examined. The obtained results suggest that both the transfer of conformation B to C and the denaturation process, for the ligand-dsDNA complexes, except for covalently bound cis-Pt, took place at higher temperatures compared to the unbound helix. Furthermore, much lower currents of electrooxidation of guanine at 100 °C, compared to the currents obtained at this temperature for dsDNA in the absence of ligands, suggest that the binding of ligands affects the way the dsDNA denaturates at increased temperatures and leads to formation of different forms of DNA single strands. The voltammetric results were compared with the data of two spectroscopic techniques: UV-Vis and CD.  相似文献

In situ vascular tissue engineering has been proposed as a promising approach to fulfill the need for small‐diameter blood vessel substitutes. The approach comprises the use of a cell‐free instructive scaffold to guide and control cell recruitment, differentiation, and tissue formation at the locus of implantation. Here we review the design parameters for such scaffolds, with special emphasis on differentiation of recruited ECFCs into the different lineages that constitute the vessel wall. Next to defining the target properties of the vessel, we concentrate on the target cell source, the ECFCs, and on the environmental control of the fate of these cells within the scaffold. The prospects of the approach are discussed in the light of current technical and biological hurdles.

Coumarins are a very common type of secondary plant metabolites with a broad spectrum of biological activities. Psoralidin is a naturally occurring furanocoumarin isolated from Psoralea corylifolia possessing anticancer and chemopreventive properties. Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) triggers apoptosis in cancer cells with no toxicity toward normal tissues. Endogenous TRAIL plays an important role in immune surveillance and defence against cancer cells. Coumarins can modulate TRAIL-mediated apoptosis in cancer cells. We examined the cytotoxic and apoptotic activities of psoralidin in combination with TRAIL on HeLa cancer cells. The cytotoxicity was measured by MTT and LDH assays. The apoptosis was detected using annexin V-FITC staining and mitochondrial membrane potential was evaluated using DePsipher staining by fluorescence microscopy. Death receptor (TRAIL-R1/DR4 and TRAIL-R2/DR5) expression was analyzed using flow cytometry. Psoralidin enhanced TRAIL-induced apoptosis in HeLa cells through increased expression of TRAIL-R2 death receptor and depolarization of mitochondrial membrane potential. Our study indicated that psoralidin augmented the anticancer effects of TRAIL and confirmed a potential use of coumarins in cancer chemoprevention.  相似文献

The interactions of C‐1305 (5‐dimethylaminopropylamino‐8‐hydroxy‐6H‐v‐triazolo[4,5,1‐de]acridin‐6‐one) with DNA were studied using differential pulse voltammetry and UV‐vis spectroscopy. C‐1305 interacts with dsDNA in two ways: by intercalation and by binding to the minor‐groove. For the intercalation at physiological pH (7.4) the values of the binding constant, K1, and the binding‐site size, n1, equal 3.36×105 M?1 and 2.5, respectively. For the weak interactions the K2 and n2 parameters equal 0.18×105 M?1 and 4. In the presence of excess NaCl the weak interactions do not vanish, therefore they are assigned to the minor groove binding. Substantial and complex is the influence of pH.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the influence of effective microorganisms (EM) present in biological formulations improving soil quality on degradation of two herbicides, diflufenican and flurochloridone. Three commercially available formulations containing EM were used: a formulation containing Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Lactococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus, and Rhodopseudomonas bacteria and the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae; a formulation containing Streptomyces, Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Rhodococcus, Cellulomonas, Arthrobacter, Paenibacillusa, and Pseudonocardia bacteria; and a formulation containing eight strains of Bacillus bacteria, B. megaterium, B. amyloliquefaciens, B. pumilus, B. licheniformis, B. coagulans, B. laterosporus, B. mucilaginosus, and B. polymyxa. It was demonstrated that those formulations influenced degradation of herbicides. All studied formulations containing EM reduced the diflufenican degradation level, from 35.5% to 38%, due to an increased acidity of the soil environment and increased durability of that substance at lower pH levels. In the case of flurochloridone, all studied EM formulations increased degradation of that active substance by 19.3% to 31.2% at the most. For control samples, equations describing kinetics of diflufenican and flurochloridone elimination were plotted, and a time of the half-life of these substances in laboratory conditions was calculated, amounting to 25.7 for diflufenican and 22.4 for flurochloridone.  相似文献

The aim of the present study was to determine the concentrations of polyphenols and carotenoids by means of HPLC/UV-Vis in certified organic and non-organic carrots (Daucus carota L.) of two cultivars (Flacoro and Nantejska). The analyzed carrot root samples contained, on average, 4.29 ± 0.83 mg/100g f.w. of carotenoids (mainly β-carotene) and 9.09 ± 2.97 mg/100g f.w. of polyphenols, including 4.44 ± 1.42 mg/100g f.w. of phenolic acids and 4.65 ± 1.96 mg/100g f.w. of flavonoids. Significant effects of the production system on the carotenoids (total) and β-carotene concentration were found, with higher concentrations of these compounds generally identified in conventionally cultivated roots (4.67 ± 0.88 mg/100g f.w.) vs. organically grown ones (4.08 ± 0.74 mg/100g f.w.). There was a noticeable inter-sample (inter-farm) variation in the concentration of polyphenols in carrot roots. Despite a general trend towards higher concentrations of these compounds in the organic carrots (9.33 ± 3.17 mg/100g f.w.) vs. conventional carrots (8.64 ± 2.58 mg/100g f.w.), and in those of Nantejska (9.60 ± 2.87 mg/100g f.w.) vs. Flacoro (8.46 ± 3.02 mg/100g f.w.) cultivar, no consistent, statistically significant impact of the production system and/or cultivar on the level of these bioactive compounds was identified. More efforts should be encouraged to ensure that organic crops reaching the market consistently contain the expected high levels of health-promoting bioactive compounds, which could be brought through their shelf-life and all processing steps, in order to meet consumers’ expectations and provide the expected health benefits.  相似文献
