The formal potentials of the Hg2+/Hg 2 2+ , Hg 2 2+ /Hg and Hg2+/Hg redox couples and the apparent equilibrium constants of the reaction Hg2+ + Hg ∝ Hg 2 2+ in conc. aqueous solutions of Mg(ClO4)2 and Ca(ClO4)2 have been determined from emf measurements performed using cells with liquid junction. Based on these data, the hydration numbers of the Hg2+ and Hg 2 2+ ions were estimated.  相似文献

A miniature ion trap mass analyzer was applied to the analysis of traces of hydrocarbons and simple heteroatomics in the vapor phase and in aqueous solution. Vapors of acetone, acetic acid, acetonitrile, benzene, butanethiol, carbon disulfide, hexane, dichloromethane, naphthalene, toluene and xylenes were detected and quantified using solid sorbent trapping and, in some cases, by passage through a membrane interface. Aqueous solutions of benzene, toluene, xylenes, hexane and a petroleum naphtha distillate were examined using the membrane interface. Sampling, detection and identification of all compounds was completed in times of less than one minute. The gas-phase samples of toluene and benzene were detected at 200 ppt (limit of detection, LOD) for toluene and 600 ppt for benzene. Identification of benzene and xylene in aqueous solutions was readily achieved with LODs of 200 and 400 ppb, respectively. Quantification over a linear dynamic range of two orders of magnitude for the aqueous samples and three orders of magnitude for the vapor-phase samples was demonstrated.  相似文献

New chromium(III) complexes, [Cr(C2O4)2(2-hnic)]2− and [Cr(C2O4)2(3-hpic)]2− (where 2-hnic = O,O′-bonded 2-hydroxynicotinic acid and 3-hpic = N,O-bonded 3-hydroxypicolinic acid), were obtained and characterized in solution. The acid-catalyzed aquation of the both complexes leads to liberation of the appropriate pyridinecarboxylic acid and formation of cis-[Cr(C2O4)2(H2O)2]. Kinetics of these reactions were studied spectrophotometrically in the 0.1–1.0 M HClO4 range, at I = 1.0 M. In the case of [Cr(C2O4)2(2-hnic)]2−, a slow chelate-ring opening at the Cr–O (phenolate) bond is followed by a fast Cr–O (carboxylate) bond breaking. The rate law: kobs = kHQH[H+] was established, where kH is the acid-catalyzed rate constant and QH is the protonation constant of the coordinated phenolate oxygen atom. In the case of [Cr(C2O4)2(3-hpic)]2−, the reversible chelate-ring opening at Cr–N bond is followed by the rate determining step – the one-end bonded ligand liberation. The rate law for the first step was determined: kobs = k1+k−1/Q1[H+], where k1 and k−1 are the rate constants of the chelate-ring opening and closure and Q1 is the protonation constant of the pyridine nitrogen atom. The aquation mechanisms are proposed and the effect of ligand coordination mode on complex reactivity is discussed.  相似文献

This paper describes the development of covalent star-shaped poly(L-lactide/?-caprolactone) random copolymer-oxprenolol (OXP) conjugates as a potential approach to controlling drug release from implantable delivery systems. We prepared synthesized materials containing 14–17 mol% OXP, which were conjugated via an ester bond. The conjugates, which were composed of biodegradable copolyester chains, natural genistein as a central core and drug, were characterized by hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and viscosity methods. We evaluated the cyto- and genotoxicity of the synthesized copolymeric matrices, followed by the conjugates, with bacterial luminescence, protozoan and Salmonella typhimurium TA1535 assays. Furthermore, we performed in vitro mammalian assays of the obtained products with V79 cells. We found that the in vitro release of OXP from the obtained star-shaped conjugates was dependent on the structure of the synthesized biodegradable matrices.  相似文献

Abstract

Polymerization of methyl methacrylate and styrene can be effectively photoinitiated by a binary photoinitiator system consisting of cyclopentadienyl(iron)arene hexafluorophosphonate salt and bis(p-N, N-dimethylaminobenzylidene)cyclopentanone in the spectral range of 400–500 nm. The amine-type radical formed from the exciplex of the binary photoinitiator system is probably responsible for the radical polymerization of vinyl monomers. A probable mechanism of initiation of polymerization is discussed.  相似文献

The synthesis of simple, chromogenic pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid amides, derivatives of isomeric nitroanilines and aminonitrophenols, and their ion binding properties are described. The ligands' response to ionic species was examined by naked eye and was studied with the use of UV–vis spectroscopy in DMSO and its mixture with water. The effect of the localisation and the type of the substituents in aromatic rings were discussed. 1H NMR experiments were carried out to probe the mechanism of anion recognition, i.e. complexation via hydrogen bond formation versus ligand deprotonation. A selective response of N,N′-bis(2-hydroxy-4-nitrophenyl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide (L5) towards dihydrogen phosphate was found in both DMSO and DMSO–water (95:5) solvent mixture. The structure of N,N′-bis(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide (L4) was confirmed by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

A new series of non-symmetric chiral isoflavone-based liquid crystalline dimers, α-(2-methylbutyl-4′-(4″-phenyloxy)benzoate)-ω-(3-(4′-decyloxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one-7-oxy)alkanes, with 3–12 carbon atoms in the alkyloxy spacer, have been synthesised. A pronounced odd–even effect for the phase transition temperatures upon varying the spacer length was observed. The short dimers exhibited monolayer smectic A (SmA) and smectic C (SmC*) phases while for longer homologues a chiral nematic (N*) phase was found. The temperature range of the nematic phase was broadened with elongation of the alkyl spacer. Stabilisation of the nematic phase resulted from competition between the monolayer and intercalated smectic structures. The SmA–SmC* phase transition was second order for all studied compounds with a cross over to the de Vries type behaviour for the shortest homologue.  相似文献

Abstract

Liquid crystalline properties of 1 - (4′ - alkoxyphenylamino) - 3 - (4′ - hexyloxyphenyl)-prop-1-en-3-ones, from methoxy to heptadecyloxy, have been examined by optical, DSC, and X-ray methods. The phase diagram for the series exhibits a rich polymorphism of tilted smectic phases, for example, five mesophases were found for the hexyloxy derivative. A characteristic feature of the phase diagram is a gap in the crystal G phase area. For the heptyloxy homologue, a direct crystal H-smectic F phase transition was found; in the case of shorter as well as longer terminal substituents, the phase sequence crystal H–crystal G–smectic F is observed. Calorimetric and X-ray studies revealed the existence of a tricritical point on the crystal G–smectic F transition line.  相似文献

The paper presents a study of the effect of a constant magnetic field (CMF) on the basic processes of quercetin electrochemical reactions. According to the observation made in previous studies, the presence of a double bond in the C-ring of quercetin enhances the antioxidant properties of that compound, whereas the presence of −OH groups also affects the antioxidant properties. Using cyclic voltammetry it was found that the constant magnetic field improves the efficiency of quercetin electrooxidation, especially of the third stage of the process, i. e. the stage in which the oxidation of the OH groups in the A-ring is the most difficult. The use of HPLC confirmed the electrochemical measurements and the results of cyclic voltammetry studies. The beneficial effect of the magnetic field on the efficiency of quercetin oxidation was confirmed by the results of impedance spectroscopy measurements.  相似文献

Quantitative electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) method was applied to characterise radicals stabilised in polyphenolic matrices of various biogenic materials: lichens, mosses, composts, soils, peats, brown coals and sewage sludge sediments. The investigations were carried out on raw materials and extracted fractions of humic acids (HA). General trends of g value and spin concentration changes were found. These parameters in lichens strongly depend on lichen species and air pollution. Determination of the g value and semiquinone spin concentration allows to assess degree of transformation of organic matter in compost, soil, peat and lignite. Application of gaseous ammonia as a base penetrating the organic matrices extends the possibilities and usefulness of the method. Interaction of metal ions with humic materials is illustrated by interaction of VO2+ ion with peat and lignite HA as well as demineralised (raw and carbonised) brown coal. Our investigations demonstrate that quantitative EPR is a rapid and effective monitoring method to study the influence of various environmental factors on substances containing polyphenolic matrices.  相似文献
