Structural and morphological behavior under stress–strain of polypropylene/multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (PP/MWCNTs) nanocomposites prepared through ultrasound‐assisted melt extrusion process was studied by means of optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, small angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS), and wide angle X‐ray scattering (WAXS). A high ductile behavior was observed in the PP/MWCNT nanocomposites with low concentration of MWCNTs. This was related to an energy‐dissipating mechanism, achieved by the formation of an ordered PP‐CNTs interphase zone and crystal oriented structure in the undeformed samples. Different strain‐induced‐phase transformations were observed by ex situ SAXS/WAXS, characterizing the different stages of structure development during the deformation of PP and PP/MWCNTs nanocomposites. The high concentration of CNTs reduced the strain behavior of PP due to the agglomeration of nanoparticles. A structural pathway relating the deformation‐induced phase transitions and the dissipation energy mechanism in the PP/MWCNTs nanocomposites at low concentration of nanoparticles was proposed. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Summary The radionuclide 192Ir has been increasingly used as a brachytherapy source and manufactured in different geometry forms (thin wires, hairpins, needles or point sources). A procedure for the characterization of the activity content of 192Ir wire sources was developed in order to establish the secondary standard activity measurement system based on the ionization chamber set up at Brazilian National Laboratory for Ionizing Radiation Metrology (LNMRI). Firstly, the ion current of the ionization chamber is measured and, subsequently, the activity is determined in a destructive analysis. This procedure enables obtaining the calibration factor for wire sources that can be used for further activity determination of similar sources in a non-destructive analysis. Accurate activity determination is needed for dosimetric measurements and for helping the manufacturers to improve its quality control programs.  相似文献

The photo-oxygenation of adamantylideneadamantane ( 1 ) on siliceous supports using admixed granules of ion-exchange resin fixed to methylene blue (MB) and rose bengal (RB) gave exclusively the corresponding dioxetane derivative 2 for the former sensitizer, while the latter gave 2 and traces of the epoxide 3. RB and the charge-transfer complex produced from N-ethylcarbazole and 2,4,5,6-tetranitrofluoren-9-one both reacted with chemically generated singlet oxygen to give superoxide radical anion. Trapping of the latter with 5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline 1-oxide gave an adduct exhibiting a characteristic ESR spectrum. The treatment of 1 in MeOH with 30% aqueous H2O2 for 22 h at 60° gave 3 in 100% yield. Repetition of this experiment in the presence of 2,6-di(tert-butyl)-p-cresol caused no significant change. These results indicate that singlet oxygen reacts with 1 , in the presence of RB, by two different processes. The first leads to dioxetane formation. The second process involves conversion of singlet oxygen by RB to superoxide radical anion which subsequently gives H2O2 so producing epoxide 3 from 1 .  相似文献

A transient two‐dimensional computational model of combined natural convection, conduction, and radiation in a cavity with an aspect ratio of one, containing air as a laminar and non‐participating fluid, is presented. The cavity has two opaque adiabatic horizontal walls, one opaque isothermal vertical wall, and an opposite semitransparent wall, which consists of a 6‐mm glass sheet with a solar control coating of SnS–CuxS facing the cavity. The semitransparent wall also exchanges heat by convection and radiation from its external surface to the surroundings and allows solar radiation pass through into the interior of the cavity. The momentum and energy equations in the transient state were solved by finite differences using the alternating direction implicit (ADI) technique. The transient conduction equation and the radiative energy flux boundary conditions are coupled to these equations. The results in this paper are limited to the following conditions: 104≤Gr≤106, an isothermal vertical cold wall of 21°C, outside air temperatures in the range 30°C≤T0≤40°C and incident solar radiation of AM2 (750 W m−2) normal to the semitransparent wall. The model allows calculation of the redistribution of the absorbed component of solar radiation to the inside and outside of the cavity. The influences of the time step and mesh size were considered. Using arguments of energy balance in the cavity, it was found that the percentage difference was less than 4 per cent, showing a possible total numerical error less than this number. For Gr=106 a wave appeared in the upper side of the cavity, suggesting the influence of the boundary walls over the air flow inside the cavity. 针对纤维材料变温环境力学性能测试的需要,在华中科技大学研制的纤维材料试验机的基础上引入了温控装置,从而实现纤维材料在高低温环境下的力学性能测试。采用该装置对不同直径微米铜丝在不同温度、不同拉伸速率条件下的力学性能开展实验研究,测试结果表明弹性模量和抗拉强度随温度的降低而线性增加,屈服强度的变化不太明显。另外,低温环境下微米铜丝的力学性能表现出与其直径相关的尺度效应,而这一现象在常温下一直没有观测到。最后,还研究了拉伸速率对微米铜丝的力学性能影响,结果表明,在现有装置的许用范围之内,拉伸速率对其力学性能的影响不大。  相似文献

In this note, the general situation when the surfaces of discontinuity carry multilayers and deform as they propagate is discussed. We will generalize the projective model structure in the categoryof unbounded complexes of modules over a commutative ring tothe category of unbounded complexes of quasi-coherent sheavesover the projective line. Concretely we will define a locallyprojective model structure in the category of complexes of quasi-coherentsheaves on the projective line. In this model structure thecofibrant objects are the dg-locally projective complexes. Wealso describe the fibrations of this model structure and showthat the model structure is monoidal. The jump behavior and symmetric jump behavior of distributions are studied. We give several formulas for the jump of distributions in terms of logarithmic averages, this is done in terms of Cesàro-logarithmic means of decompositions of the Fourier transform and in terms of logarithmic radial and angular local asymptotic behaviors of harmonic conjugate functions. Application to Fourier series are analyzed. In particular, we give formulas for jumps of periodic distributions in terms of Cesàro–Riesz logarithmic means and Abel–Poisson logarithmic means of conjugate Fourier series.  相似文献
