An analytical procedure for the simultaneous determination of cyanide and thiocyanate in swine plasma was developed and validated. Cyanide and thiocyanate were simultaneously analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry in negative ionization mode after rapid and simple sample preparation. Isotopically labeled internal standards, Na13C15N and NaS13C15N, were mixed with swine plasma (spiked and nonspiked), proteins were precipitated with acetone, the samples were centrifuged, and the supernatant was removed and dried. The dried samples were reconstituted in 10 mM ammonium formate. Cyanide was reacted with naphthalene-2,3-dicarboxaldehyde and taurine to form N-substituted 1-cyano[f]benzoisoindole, while thiocyanate was chemically modified with monobromobimane to form an SCN-bimane product. The method produced dynamic ranges of 0.1–50 and 0.2–50 μM for cyanide and thiocyanate, respectively, with limits of detection of 10 nM for cyanide and 50 nM for thiocyanate. For quality control standards, the precision, as measured by percent relative standard deviation, was below 8 %, and the accuracy was within ±10 % of the nominal concentration. Following validation, the analytical procedure successfully detected cyanide and thiocyanate simultaneously from the plasma of cyanide-exposed swine.  相似文献

The key role of the pentacene kinetic energy (Ek) in the early stages of growth on SiOx/Si is demonstrated: islands with smooth borders and increased coalescence differ remarkably from fractal-like thermal growth. Increasing Ek to 6.4 eV, the morphology evolves towards higher density of smaller islands. At higher coverage, coalescence grows with Ek up to a much more uniform, less defected monolayer. The growth, interpreted by the diffusion mediated model, shows the critical nucleus changing from 3 to 2 pentacene for Ek>5-6 eV. Optimal conditions to produce single crystalline films are envisaged.  相似文献

Vascular and nonvascular cells often form an interconnected network in vitro, similar to the early vascular bed of warm-blooded embryos. Our time-lapse recordings show that the network forms by extending sprouts, i.e., multicellular linear segments. To explain the emergence of such structures, we propose a simple model of preferential attraction to stretched cells. Numerical simulations reveal that the model evolves into a quasistationary pattern containing linear segments, which interconnect above the critical volume fraction of 0.2. In the quasistationary state, the generation of new branches offset the coarsening driven by surface tension. In agreement with empirical data, the characteristic size of the resulting polygonal pattern is density-independent within a wide range of volume fractions.  相似文献

The enhanced catalytic activity of difluoroboronate ureas proved to be essential as an acidity amplifier to promote metal‐free O?H and S?H insertion reactions of α‐aryldiazoacetates in high yield. This methodology was found to be generally applicable to a broad substrate scope and presents a conceptually new approach for organocatalytic diazo insertion reactions. Mechanistic investigations suggest that the reaction pathway involves a urea‐induced protonation of the α‐aryldiazoester.  相似文献

Abstract

Ethanol extracts of different parts of Passiflora cincinnata were obtained by maceration. The total phenolic and flavonoid contents were evaluated. The antioxidant activities were determined by β-carotene-linoleic acid bleaching test, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazil (DPPH), and 2,2’-azinobis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) radical scavenging. The crude ethanol stem extract showed the highest amount of total polyphenols (45.53?mg gallic acid equivalent/g) while the highest total flavonoid contents (1.42?mg of quercetin equivalent/g) were observed in the leaf extract. The lowest IC50 (25.65?μg/ml) by the DPPH method was observed for the stem extract. The ABTS method showed a significant antioxidant activity for all investigated extracts. The secondary metabolite composition of ethanol extracts was assessed by HPLC-DAD-MS/MS analysis, leading to the identification of fourteen secondary metabolites in P. cincinnata extracts. These results showed the potentiality of this species as a source of phenolic compounds and antioxidants.  相似文献

Cannabis is still the most widely used illicit drug around the world. While its use has always been prevalent among adolescents, recent evidence suggests that its consumption is also increasing among other population groups, such as pregnant women and aged people. Given the known impact of cannabis on brain development and behavior, it is important to dissect the possible long-term impact of its use across different age groups, especially on measures of cognitive performance. Animal models of cannabinoid exposure have represented a fundamental tool to characterize the long-lasting consequences of cannabinoids on cognitive performance and helped to identify possible factors that could modulate cannabinoids effects in the long term, such as the age of exposure and doses administered. This scoping review was systematically conducted using PubMed and includes papers published from 2015 to December 2021 that examined the effects of cannabinoids, either natural or synthetic, on cognitive performance in animal models where exposure occurred in the prenatal period, during adolescence, or in older animals. Overall, available data clearly point to a crucial role of age in determining the long-term effect of cannabinoid on cognition, highlighting possible detrimental consequences during brain development (prenatal and adolescent exposure) and beneficial outcomes in old age. In contrast, despite the recent advances in the field, it appears difficult to clearly establish a possible role of dosage in the effects of cannabinoids on cognition, especially when the adolescent period is taken into account.  相似文献

The purpose of this work is to develop simple and reproducible ways to fabricate carbon nanofibers (CNFs) electrodes. Disposable CNFs electrodes were fabricated after filtering CNFs through polytetrafluoroethylene filters (PTFE), using directly as electrodes these filters with the CNFs film. The electrochemical behaviour of CNFs/PTFE electrodes were tested with ferrocenemethanol and tris(2,2′‐bypyridyl)dichlororuthenium(II) (Ru(bipy)32+). As a proof of concept of the analytical usefulness of the CNFs/PFTE electrodes, the study of vitamin B12 was carried out. Multivariate calibrate has been successfully used to determine vitamin B12 in a complex medium with vitamins B1 and B6 as interferents.  相似文献

FT Raman investigation of sodium cellulose sulfates (NaCS) was reported. Different NaCS were prepared by two diverse sulfation methods and their total degrees of substitution (DS) of sulfate groups were determined through either 13C-NMR spectroscopy or elemental analysis. Subsequently, these NaCS were characterized with FT Raman spectroscopy. The caused bands through the introduction of the sulfate groups in cellulose chain were explained and assigned. Additionally, a strong linear correlation between the areas under the bands ascribed to the stretching vibrations of C–O–S groups and the total DS of NaCS was presented. A rapid method of quantifying the total DS of NaCS was established. Finally, sodium sulfate (Na2SO4), a salt that is very often produced during the sulfation of cellulose, was found to be analyzable even with a weight content of 0.12% in NaCS. The method of quantifying the content of this salt in NaCS was investigated with Raman spectroscopy.  相似文献

We have developed a computational procedure, based on the variational method, for the calculation of the rovibronic energies of a triatomic molecule in an electronic state that become degenerate at the linear nuclear configuration. In such an electronic state the coupling caused by the electronic orbital angular momentum is very significant and it is called the Renner effect. We include it, and the effect of spin-orbit coupling, in our program. We have developed the procedure to the point where spectral line intensities can be calculated so that absorption and emission spectra can be simulated. In order to gain insight into the nature of the eigenfunctions, we have introduced and calculated the overall bending probability density function f(p) of the states. By projecting the eigenfunctions onto the Born-Oppenheimer basis, we have determined the probability density functions f+(rho) and f-(rho) associated with the individual Born-Oppenheimer states phi(-)elec and phi(+)elec. At a given temperature the Boltzmann averaged value of the f(p) over all the eigenstates gives the bending probability distribution function F(rho), and this can be related to the result of a Coulomb Explosion Imaging (CEI) experiment. We review our work and apply it to the molecules CH2+, MgNC and NH2, all of which are of astrophysical interest.  相似文献
