[reaction: see text] The Yb(OTf)3-catalyzed annulation reactions of phenols with 5-alkylidene Meldrum's acids enabled the synthesis of structurally diverse heterocycles in high isolated yields. A series of 4-substituted 3,4-dihydrocoumarins, 2,2-disubstituted 4-chromanones, coumarins, and 2-substituted chromones were readily and efficiently assembled, including the naturally occurring coumarins citropten, scoparone, and ayapin. Addition of phenols to biselectrophilic 5-alkylidene Meldrum's acids proceeded through two distinct multibond-forming modes: Friedel-Crafts C-alkylation/O-acylation and Friedel-Crafts C-acylation/O-alkylation. The regioselectivity of the catalytic annulation reaction was controlled by the degree of substitution on the alkylidene moiety.  相似文献

The title synthesized hypophosphite has the formula V(H2PO2)3. Its structure is based on VO6 octahedra and (H2PO2) pseudo‐tetrahedra. The asymmetric unit contains two crystallographically distinct V atoms and six independent (H2PO2) groups. The connection of the polyhedra generates [VPO6H2]6− chains extended along a, b and c, leading to the first three‐dimensional network of an anhydrous transition metal hypophosphite.  相似文献

Four tetrathiafulvalene (TTF)‐annulated porphyrins 1 – 4 were synthesized and characterized. All contain a tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) core onto which four, two, or one TTF subunits were annulated. Absorption and fluorescence spectroscopic studies together with electrochemical investigations reveal that interactions between the porphyrin system and the annulated TTF units take place in solution. The annulation of one or more TTF units to the porphyrin core has a profound effect on the reduction potentials associated with this latter framework, with positive shifts in the range of 0.105 to 0.355 V and 0.200 to 0.370 V for the first and second reduction potential, respectively, compared to the corresponding processes in the model compound TPP, 18 . The redox potentials for the first oxidation of the TTF units are considerably shifted in 4 (ΔEox1=+0.285 V) and 2 (ΔEox1=?0.140 V), whereas for 1 and 3 these potentials remain within the region expected for a normal TTF unit. Considerable changes in the second oxidation potential associated with the TTF subunits were seen for 2 (ΔEox1=?0.085) and 3 (ΔEox1=?0.175). The emission spectra of 1 – 4 revealed that the porphyrin fluorescence is almost quenched in the neutral state of the TTF‐annulated porphyrins, a finding that is consistent with substantial electron transfer taking place from the TTF subunits to the porphyrin core. Oxidation of the TTF unit(s) (TTF→TTF.+) present in 1 – 4 leads to the emission intensity being restored.  相似文献

A POM to remember : Hexanuclear FeIII polyoxometalate (POM) single‐molecule magnets (see structure) can be noncovalently assembled on the surface of single‐wall carbon nanotubes. Complementary characterization techniques (see TEM image and magnetic hysteresis loops) demonstrate the integrity and bistability of the individual molecules, which could be used to construct single‐molecule memory devices.

Complexing polymer‐coated electrodes have been synthesized by oxidative electropolymerization of ethylenediamine tetra‐N‐(3‐pyrrole‐1‐yl)propylacetamide (monomer L ). The presence of four polymerizable pyrrole fragments on the same EDTA skeleton was thought to confer enhanced rigidity and controlled dimensionality to the resulting complexing materials, which were used for the electrochemical detection of Hg(II), Cu(II), Pb(II) and Cd(II) ions by means of the chemical preconcentration‐anodic stripping technique. The polyamide electrode material showed particularly a significant selectivity towards mercury ions, even in the presence of a large excess of other metal cations. Moreover, the use of imprinted polymer‐coated electrodes prepared by electropolymerization of L in the presence of metal cations turned out to significantly improve the detection limits, down to 5×10?10 mol L?1 for Hg(II) and Cu(II) species.  相似文献

The title compound, 10‐iodo‐1,2‐dihydroisoquinolino[2,1‐b][1,2,4]benzothiadiazine 12,12‐dioxide, C15H11IN2O2S ( 8 ), was synthesized via the metal‐free intramolecular N‐iodosuccinimide (NIS)‐mediated radical oxidative sp3‐C—H aminative cyclization of 2‐(2′‐aminobenzenesulfonyl)‐1,3,4‐trihydroisoquinoline, C15H16N2O2S ( 7 ). The amino adduct 7 was prepared via a two‐step reaction, starting from the condensation of 2‐nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride ( 4 ) with 1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroisoquinoline ( 5 ), to afford 2‐(2′‐nitrobenzenesulfonyl)‐1,3,4‐trihydroisoquinoline, C15H14N2O4S ( 6 ), in 82% yield. The catalytic hydrogenation of 6 with hydrogen gas, in the presence of 10% palladium‐on‐charcoal catalyst, furnished 7 . Products 6 – 8 were characterized by their melting points, IR and NMR (1H and 13C) spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The three compounds crystallized in the monoclinic space group, with 7 exhibiting classical intramolecular hydrogen bonds of 2.16 and 2.26 Å. All three crystal structures exhibit centrosymmetric pairs of intermolecular C—H…π(ring) and/or π–π stacking interactions. The docking studies of molecules 6 , 7 and 8 with deoxyribonucleic acid (PDB id: 1ZEW ) revealed minor‐groove binding behaviours without intercalation, with 7 presenting the most favourable global energy of the three molecules. Nonetheless, molecule 8 interacted strongly with the DNA macromolecule, with an attractive van der Waals energy of ?15.53 kcal mol?1.  相似文献
