The effect of flame annealing on the water‐splitting properties of Sn decorated hematite (α‐Fe2O3) nanoflakes has been investigated. It is shown that flame annealing can yield a considerable enhancement in the maximum photocurrent under AM 1.5 (100 mW cm?2) conditions compared to classic furnace annealing treatments. Optimizing the annealing time (10 s at 1000 °C) leads to a photocurrent of 1.1 mA cm?2 at 1.23 V (vs. RHE) with a maximum value 1.6 mA cm?2 at 1.6 V (vs. RHE) in 1 M KOH. The improvement in photocurrent can be attributed to the fast direct heating that maintains the nanoscale morphology, leads to optimized Sn decoration, and minimizes detrimental substrate effects.  相似文献

We report a lipid‐based strategy to visualize Golgi structure and dynamics at super‐resolution in live cells. The method is based on two novel reagents: a trans‐cyclooctene‐containing ceramide lipid (Cer‐TCO) and a highly reactive, tetrazine‐tagged near‐IR dye (SiR‐Tz). These reagents assemble via an extremely rapid “tetrazine‐click” reaction into Cer‐SiR, a highly photostable “vital dye” that enables prolonged live‐cell imaging of the Golgi apparatus by 3D confocal and STED microscopy. Cer‐SiR is nontoxic at concentrations as high as 2 μM and does not perturb the mobility of Golgi‐resident enzymes or the traffic of cargo from the endoplasmic reticulum through the Golgi and to the plasma membrane.  相似文献

Modified Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices can be used as highly sensitive detectors for gases: coated with a selective sorptive layer, they serve as a frequency determining element of an oscillator circuit. To perform a quantitative analysis of organic gas mixtures with polymer coatings as sensitive membranes, it is necessary to use an array of several SAW sensors with sensitivities towards various gaseous components and a subsequent pattern recognition of the sensor responses. An automatic working, self purging and compact analytical microsystem has been developed for organic gas detection. As the central component it contains an array of nine commercially available SAW resonators working at frequency of 433.92 MHz. Eight sensor oscillators, one common reference oscillator for temperature compensation and circuits for frequency mixing are mounted within a compact radial housing (diameter 108 mm). A selection of polymers has been made to detect a broad variety of gaseous organic analytes. Of particular interest have been hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons and aromatic compounds. Initial experiments with these analytes have been carried out to proof the selection and to optimize the combination of polymer coatings. With the compact sensor configuration a very fast response time in the range of seconds is obtained for qualitative determination of the analytes.Dedicated to Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. J. F. K. Zusammenfassung Es wurde die Trennung von Phenolcarbonsäuren durch Hochdruck-Flüssigkeits-Chromatographie untersucht. Die bisher besten Resultate wurden durch Verteilungs-Chromatographie mit Merckogel Si 150-Trennsäulen erzielt. Als mobile Phasen dienten ternäre Zweiphasengemische. Die Elution wird durch Ansäuern der mobilen Phase beschleunigt. Mit dem beschriebenen System lassen sich auch die cis-trans-Isomeren der p-Cumarsäure und Ferulasäure auftrennen.
A method for separating phenolic acids by high pressure liquid chromatography
Summary The separation of phenolic acids has been investigated by high-pressure liquid chromatography. Until now the best results have been obtained by partition chromatography with Merckogel Si 150-columns. Ternary two-phase compositions served as mobile phases. Elution is accelerated by acidifying the mobile phase. Also the cis-trans isomers of p-cumaric acid and ferulic acid may be separated with the system described.

The combined electronic and nuclear motion during a predissociation process is studied in a model system. The latter consists of an electron and an ion which are allowed to move in one dimension and interact with each other and two fixed ions via screened Coulomb interactions. The fragmentation dynamics is illustrated in terms of the temporal changes of electronic and nuclear densities. Support varieties for any finite dimensional algebra over a field were introduced in (Proc. London Math. Soc. 88 (3) (2004) 705–732) using graded subalgebras of the Hochschild cohomology ring. We mainly study these varieties for selfinjective algebras under appropriate finite generation hypotheses. Then many of the standard results from the theory of support varieties for finite groups generalize to this situation. In particular, the complexity of the module equals the dimension of its corresponding variety, all closed homogeneous varieties occur as the variety of some module, the variety of an indecomposable module is connected, the variety of periodic modules are lines and for symmetric algebras a generalization of Webbs theorem is true. A microwave interferometry technique is applied for the first time for detecting a discrete spectrum of Alfvén cascade (AC) eigenmodes excited with fast ions in reversed magnetic shear plasmas of the Joint European Torus. The interferometry measurements of plasma density perturbations associated with ACs show an unprecedented frequency and time resolution superior to that obtained with external magnetic coils. The measurements of ACs are used for monitoring the evolution of the safety factor and density of rational magnetic surfaces in the region of maximum plasma current.  相似文献
