Chaos and multiple periods are presented for the harmonically excited unsymmetrical spring and damping system with clearance. This paper demonstrates the non-linear behaviour of the motion through simulation and experiment. Intensive care and caution are taken in the experiments to observe the chaos and the multiple periods properly. The focus in this paper is mainly on the change of the bilinear spring stiffness ratio as a prime factor by which chaotic motions occur from quasi-periodic motion. Other investigations and effects on motion are also discussed for the changing of the extent of clearance. The investigations are based on frequency response curves. To understand the dynamics of the non-linearity of this model, all possible data processing and displaying techniques are taken into account. To observe the overall phenomena of this bilinear system, the resonance curves and the bifurcation diagrams are taken thoroughly for a wide frequency region. 相似文献

Alterations have been introduced in the semi-empirical INDO parameters in order to study their influence on the Fermi contact term of the indirect spin–spin coupling constants as calculated by the finite perturbation theory (FPT). For this purpose a set of molecules containing hydrogen, carbon and/or fluorine has been selected. In general, most coupling constants are found to be much more sensitive than other molecular properties to small changes in the INDO parameters. This sensitivity depends strongly on the particular calculated coupling constant. In most cases the uncertainty in the INDO parameters leads to uncertainties in the coupling constants which are much greater than their experimental errors. 相似文献

A new ligand, (2-ethoxy-6-(1H imadazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline-2-yl)phenol) (HEPIP) and its three Co(III) complexes [Co(phen)2(HEPIP)](ClO4)3 (1), [Co(bpy)2(HEPIP)](ClO4)3 (2) and [Co(dmb)2(HEPIP)](ClO4)3 (3) have been synthesized and characterized. All three Co(III) complexes exhibited antitumor activity against four human tumor cell lines. The interaction of these complexes with calf thymus DNA was studied by absorption and emission spectroscopy, viscosity measurements and DNA cleavage assays. The DNA-binding constants of complexes 1, 2 and 3 were determined as 6.13 × 105, 4.46 × 105 and 3.72 × 105 M?1, respectively. The complexes appear to interact with DNA through intercalation. Studies on the mechanism of photocleavage indicated that both superoxide anion radical and singlet oxygen may play an important role. 相似文献

Spherical, nonporous and monodisperse silica nanoparticles (NPs) with a diameter of about 100 nm were synthesized and covalently functionalized with lanthanoid(III) (Ln=Gd or Y) chelate complexes, which serve as contrast agents (CAs) for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The materials were fully characterized after each synthetic step by different analytical methods, such as dynamic light scattering, scanning electron microscopy, DRIFT and NMR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry and elemental analysis, as well as zetapotential measurements. High surface concentrations of Gd(III) complexes (up to 50 μmol g(-1)) were determined by ICP-AES and T(1)-measurements, respectively. MRI experiments show the typical concentration-dependent increase of the longitudinal relaxation rate. T(1)-weighted images of samples with more than 25 μg NPs per 100 μL agar display a clear contrast enhancement in the agar layer. The transverse relaxivities r(2) of the materials are significantly higher than r(2) of the corresponding free Gd(III) complexes in water and medium, whereas the longitudinal relaxivities r(1) are slightly increased. Due to the high loading of Gd(III) complexes, the relaxivities per particle are remarkably high (up to 2.78×10(5) mM(-1) s(-1) for r(1)). Thus, new hybrid materials, based on nonporous silica NPs with high local relaxivity values were synthesized, which can serve as very effective CAs for MRI. 相似文献

With the transition to ≤28‐nm CMOS technology nodes, the surface analytical challenges with regard to steadily decreasing dimensions and still growing materials options raise the demand of high performing surface analysis techniques. Characterization of ultrathin films and multilayer stacks, especially in high‐k metal gate stacks, by means of low energy ion scattering spectroscopy (LEIS) with its monolayer sensitivity has been established as a very useful analysis technique next to Auger electron spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy , and time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry. Questions regarding film nucleation, growth, coverage, and diffusion can be answered, thereby enabling those processes to be controlled appropriately. In this work, growth studies of ALD HfO2 and TiN are shown, as well as film thickness determination based on surface spectra. PVD aluminum and lanthanum, acting as work function metals on the gate oxide, were deposited, and their film formation and closure were investigated. Further application fields of LEIS have emerged from the characterization of in‐die features on patterned wafers. As presented on test arrays, it is possible to detect material deep in trenches. This is an advantage if residues need to be identified after etch or clean processes. 相似文献
