X‐ray irradiation is shown to trigger the deposition of Cu from solution, at room temperature, on a wide variety of insulating substrates: glass, passivated Si, TiN/Ti/SiO2/Si and photoresists like PMMA and SU‐8. A method based on the solution to a generalized eigenproblem of hybrid matrix is presented for stable analysis of Floquet wave propagation in one-dimensional phononic crystals with solids and fluids. The method overcomes the numerical instability in the standard eigenproblem of transfer matrix, thus enabling Floquet waves to be determined reliably. The recursion relations of hybrid matrix for periodic multilayered structure of various solid and/or fluid phases are formulated. Dispersion relation and omnidirectional reflection for one-dimensional phononic crystals with solids and fluids are discussed. The frequency-thickness range of phononic bandgap is determined conveniently based on the Floquet wavenumbers. 相似文献

The applicability of CZE in combination with MS and MS/MS methods for the simultaneous separation and determination of 12 cytokinins was investigated for the first time. Cytokinins were first completely separated by CZE within less than 20 min using a volatile buffer and then detected directly by MS or MS/MS. Satisfactory separation of the 12 cytokinin standards was achieved using a 25 mM ammonium formate/formic acid buffer (pH 3.4) and 3% ACN v/v with a separation voltage of 25 kV. On the basis of the resolution of the neighboring peaks, the various parameters for CZE-MS optimization, such as buffer pH value, concentration of buffer and organic modifier, applied voltage and sheath liquid, were evaluated systematically. MS/MS with multiple reaction monitoring detection was carried out to obtain sufficient selectivity and sensitivity. The combination of on-line sample stacking and CZE-MS/MS achieved a detection limit in the range of 0.05-0.18 microM for the 12 cytokinins at an S/N of 3. The optimized CZE-MS/MS method was simple, rapid, low cost, robust and highly selective. Furthermore, the developed method was successfully applied to screen for endogenous cytokinins in purified coconut water extract sample. New non-electrolytic triorganotin(IV) derivatives of dipeptides with general formulae R3Sn(HL), where R = Ph and HL = monoanion of glycylisoleucine (H2L-1), valylvaline (H2L-2), alanylvaline (H2L-3), leucylalanine (H2L-4), leucylleucine (H2L-5); R = n-Bu and HL = monoanion of glycylisoleucine (H2L-1) and leucylalanine (H2L-4); and R = Me and HL = monoanion of leucylalanine (H2L-4) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of infrared, multinuclear 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR and 119Sn M?ssbauer spectroscopic studies. These investigations suggest that all the ligands in R3Sn(HL) act as monoanionic bidentates coordinating through the COO- and NH2 groups. The 119Sn M?ssbauer studies, together with the NMR data, indicate that, for these polymeric derivatives, the polyhedron around tin in R3Sn(HL) is a trigonal-bipyramid with the three organic groups in the equatorial positions, while the axial positions are occupied by a carboxylic oxygen and the amino nitrogen atom from the adjacent molecule. The anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular activities and toxicity of all these compounds have been determined. Four of the complexes have also been screened against some of the chosen bacterial and fungal strains. The Ph3Sn(IV) compounds exhibit better anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular activities in comparison to the Me3Sn(IV) and n-Bu3Sn(IV) analogues. n-Bu3Sn(Gly-Ile) and Ph3Sn(Ala-Val) exhibit good antibacterial activity against all the chosen strains. 相似文献

Surface structure of magnetite (111) under hydrated conditions by crystal truncation rod diffraction

X-ray crystal truncation rod (CTR) diffraction under hydrated conditions at circum-neutral pH was used to determine the surface structure of Fe3O4(111) following a wet chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) preparation method. The best-fit model to the CTR data shows the presence of two oxygen terminated domains that are chemically inequivalent and symmetrically distinct in the surface contribution ratio of 75% oxygen octahedral-iron (OOI) termination (aO2.61–aO1.00–oh1Fe2.55–bO1.00–bO3.00–td1Fe1.00–oh2Fe1.00–td2Fe1.00–R) to 25% oxygen mixed-iron (OMI) termination (bO1.00–bO3.00–td1Fe0–oh2Fe1.00–td2Fe1.00–aO3.00–aO1.00–oh1Fe3.00–R). An adsorbed water layer could not be constrained in the best-fit model. However, bond-valence analyses suggest that both of the surfaces are hydro-oxo terminated. Furthermore, the topmost iron layers of both domains are inferred to be occupied with the redox active Fe2+ and Fe3+ cations indicating that these irons are the principle irons involved in controlling the surface reactivity of magnetite in industrial and environmentally relevant conditions. 相似文献

In this study, large-scale qualitative and quantitative proteomic technology was applied to the analysis of the opportunistic bacterial pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa grown under magnesium limitation, an environmental condition previously shown to induce expression of various virulence factors. For quantitative analysis, whole cell and membrane proteins were differentially labeled with isotope-coded affinity tag (ICAT) reagents and ICAT reagent-labeled peptides were separated by two-dimensional chromatography prior to analysis by electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) in an ion trap mass spectrometer (ITMS). To increase the number of protein identifications, gas-phase fractionation (GPF) in the m/z dimension was employed for analysis of ICAT peptides derived from whole cell extracts. The experiments confirmed expression of 1331 P. aeruginosa proteins of which 145 were differentially expressed upon limitation of magnesium. A number of conserved Gram-negative magnesium stress-response proteins involved in bacterial virulence were among the most abundant proteins induced in low magnesium. Comparative ICAT analysis of membrane versus whole cell protein indicated that growth of P. aeruginosa in low magnesium resulted in altered subcellular compartmentalization of large enzyme complexes such as ribosomes. This result was confirmed by 2-D PAGE analysis of P. aeruginosa outer membrane proteins. This study shows that large-scale quantitative proteomic technology can be successfully applied to the analysis of whole bacteria and to the discovery of functionally relevant biologic phenotypes. 相似文献

An enantioselective 1,2-chlorine atom migration was observed in the tributyltin hydride reduction of various dihalogenated dihydrocinnamic acid derivatives. It is proposed that the reduction involves the formation of a chlorine-bridged radical intermediate, followed by hydrogen atom transfer to either the beta- or the alpha-carbon. The product distribution is affected by electron-withdrawing groups in that hydrogen atom transfer to the proximate carbon is favored. Presumably, this is due to the transition state of the hydrogen delivery step being electron rich, due to the relatively electropositive tin radical. These results demonstrate a 1,2-chlorine atom migration reaction governed by polar effects. 相似文献
