We report here electrochemical synthesis of novel soluble donor–acceptor (D–A) polymer with suitably functionalized perylenetetracarboxylic diimide dye derivative covalently linked to carbazole moiety (Cbz‐PDI). The band gap, Eg was measured using UV–Vis spectroscopy and compared with that obtained by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Efficient intramolecular electron transfer from carbazole‐donor to perynediimide‐acceptor leads to remarkable fluorescence quenching of the perylene core. Furthermore, spectroelectrochemical property and surface morphology of the polymer film were investigated. Characteristic monoanion and dianion radical bands on the UV–Vis absorption spectra attributed to the electrochemical reduction of the neutral polymer were observed. During the reduction process, red color of the film turned into blue and violet, respectively. Finally, the photovoltaic performance of the D–A double‐cable polymer was checked and nearly 0.1% electrical conversion efficiency is obtained under simulated AM 1.5 solar light with 100 mW/cm2 radiation power. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The crystal structure,magnetic and magnetocaloric characteristics of the pseduo ternary compounds of Tb5Ge2 xSi2 xMn2x(0 ≤ 2x ≤ 0.1) were investigated by x-ray powder diffraction and magnetization measurements.The x-ray powder diffraction results show that all compounds preserve the monoclinic phase as the majority phase and all the synthesized compounds were observed to be ferromagnetic from magnetization measurements.Magnetic phase transitions were interpreted in terms of Landau theory.Maximum isothermal magnetic entropy change value(20.84 J.kg-1.K-1) was found for Tb5Ge1.95Si1.95Mn0.1 at around 123 K in the magnetic field change of 5 T.  相似文献

A series of Poly vinyl butyral–Poly (acrylic acid) (PVB-PAA) based form-stable phase change materials (PCMs) have been prepared for the use of thermal energy storage applications. Six types of formulations containing five different fatty alcohols were prepared by adding PVB to PAA. Using electrospinning to fabricate nanofibrous mats, our aim was to investigate their properties as form-stable PCMs. Fatty alcohols, 1-Tetradecanol, 1-Hexadecanol, 1-Octadecanol, 1-Eicosanol and 1-Docosanol, were added separately to base formulation. The structural characterization tests were performed by ATR-FTIR spectroscopy. Morphological tests were conducted using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Thermal performances and phase change behaviors were tested by thermogravimetric analysis system (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The heating cycle phase change enthalpy is measured between 223 and 241?J/g, and the freezing cycle phase change enthalpy is found between 215 and 239?J/g. The main decomposition PVB-PAA based PCMs started at 220?°C. This study suggested that PVB-PAA based PCMs possess well phase change properties and they were found to have an applicable temperature range. With the presented results these materials promise a great potential in thermal energy storage applications.  相似文献

A new series of quinazolinones containing hydrazone moiety were synthesized, and their inhibitory activities on urease were assessed in vitro. Most of the compounds exhibited potent urease inhibitory activity. Among the synthesized compounds, molecule 4a bearing furan ring has the best inhibitory effect against urease with IC50 = 2.90 ± 0.11 μg/mL. Compounds 4f , 4g , 4h , 4i , and 4j have hydroxy group on phenyl ring. Compound 4i is the most active inhibitor among these compounds with IC50 = 5.01 ± 0.10 μg/mL, which has 3‐Cl and 4‐Br on phenyl ring. Also, newly synthesized compounds had been tested for their antimicrobial effects against three of Gram‐positive bacteria (Bacillus cereus 702 Roma, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, and Streptococcus pyogenes ATCC 19615) and three of Gram‐negative bacteria (Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Proteus vulgaris ATCC 13315, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853). Antimicrobial activity results show that compounds 4a , 4h , 4j , 4f , and 4l have the lowest minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) value of 1000 μg/mL to all tested bacteria. The other compounds have the MIC value of >1000 μg/mL to all tested bacteria.  相似文献

This letter focuses on the derivation of the hitting probabilities of diffusing particles absorbed by an agent in a bounded environment. In particular, we analogously consider the impulse response of a molecular communication channel in a 2-D and 3-D environment. In 2-D, the channel involves a point transmitter that releases molecules to a circular absorbing receiver that absorbs incoming molecules in an environment surrounded by a circular reflecting boundary. Considering this setup, the joint distribution of the molecules on the circular absorbing receiver with respect to time and angle is derived. Using this distribution, the channel characteristics are examined. Then, we extend this channel model to 3-D using a cylindrical receiver and investigate the channel properties. We also propose how to obtain an analytic estimate for the unbounded 2-D channel from our derived solutions, as no analytic derivation for this channel is present in the literature. Throughout the letter, we perform particle-based simulations to compare the analytic results and lay evidence for our findings.  相似文献

A strange novel three-dimensional quadratic continuous autonomous chaotic system with fully golden proportion equilibria is proposed. It has only seven terms, three quadratic nonlinearities and one parameter ‘a’. The system equations have four equilibrium points and very interestingly all the equilibrium points have fully golden proportion values. Besides, this chaotic system has hidden amplitude control properties. The dynamic analyses of the system are presented such as equilibrium points, dissipativity, Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation diagrams, phase portraits and hidden amplitude control properties. Later, electronic circuit of the system is simulated in software and implemented in real environment. Finally, microcomputer-based random number generator (RNG) application and its NIST-800-22 tests are executed as another real-time application.  相似文献

Gallium Selenide (GaSe) thin films were grown by the electrochemical deposition (ECD) technique on Indium tin oxide (ITO) and p-Si (100) substrates. The Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrum of GaSe thin films’ growth on ITO was recorded at room temperature. According to EPR results, the g value of an EPR signal obtained for GaSe deposited on ITO is 2.0012?±?0.0005. In/GaSe/p-Si heterojunction was irradiated with high-energy (6?MeV) and low-dose (1.53?×?1010?e??cm?2) electrons. The ideality factor of the In/GaSe/p-Si device was calculated as 1.24 and barrier height was determined as 0.82?eV from I–V measurements before irradiation. Acceptor concentration, built-in potential and barrier height of the In/GaSe/p-Si device were also obtained as 0.72?×?1014?cm?3, 0.65?eV and 0.97?eV from C–V measurements, respectively. After irradiation, the ideality factor n and barrier height Φb values of the In/GaSe/p-Si device were calculated as 1.55 and 0.781?eV, respectively. Acceptor concentration, the built-in potential and barrier height values of the In/GaSe/p-Si device have also shown a decrease after 6?MeV electron irradiation. This change in heterojunction device parameters shows that current transport does not obey thermionic emission, and thus tunneling could be active due to the defects formed by irradiation at the In–GaSe interface.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and characterization two coumarin-based fluorescence probes, N′-{[7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl]carbonyl}pyridine-3-carbohydrazide (3) and N′-benzoyl-7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carbohydrazide (4), proposed as a novel fluorescent chemosensor. The two probes designed showed an instant turn-off fluorescence response to Cu2+ over other metal ions in ethanol-water mixture based on intramolecular charge transfer (ICT). It was found that pyridine-analogue coumarin is highly selective and sensitive sensor for Cu2+. The 3 sensor coordinates Cu2+ in 1:1 stoichiometry with a binding constant, Ka = 5.22 M?1 and the detection limit was calculated 1.97 × 10?9 M.  相似文献
