In this study, the kinetic resolution of (R,S)-2-pentanol via transesterification to achieve S-2-pentanol, a key intermediate required in the synthesis of anti-Alzheimer drugs, was investigated in continuous-flow packed-bed reactors. The effects of residence time, substrate concentration, and operation time of the enzyme were investigated. Under steady state conditions, 50% conversion and enantiomeric excess of the substrate (ee S >99% were achieved at a residence time of 0.04 min. Productivity of the continuous-flow process (1.341 mmol/min/g)was about 4 times higher than that of the corresponding batch process (0.363 mmol/min/g). In addition, the mathematical modeling of the packed-bed reactor was conductedusing an axial dispersion model. Ping Pong Bi Bi kinetics was used in this model. Design parameters were determined and the developed equations were solved using an algorithm for solving boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations by collocation (bvp4c) using MATLAB. The results, obtained from the model, fitted the experimental data very well.)  相似文献

In the present paper, conventional spectrophotometry in conjunction with cloud point extraction-preconcentration were investigated as alternative methods for paracetamol (PCT) assay in urine samples. Cloud point extraction (CPE) was employed for the preconcentration of p-aminophenol (PAP) prior to spectrophotometric determination using the non-ionic surfactant Triton X-114 (TX-114) as an extractant. The developed methods were based on acidic hydrolysis of PCT to PAP, which reacted at room temperature with 25,26,27,28-tetrahydroxycalix[4]arene (CAL4) in the presence of an oxidant (KIO(4)) to form an blue colored product. The PAP-CAL4 blue dye formed was subsequently entrapped in the surfactant micelles of Triton X-114. Cloud point phase separation with the aid of Triton X-114 induced by addition of Na(2)SO(4) solution was performed at room temperature as an advantage over other CPE assays requiring elevated temperatures. The 580 nm-absorbance maximum of the formed product was shifted bathochromically to 590 nm with CPE. The working range of 1.5-12 mug ml(-1) achieved by conventional spectrophotometry was reduced down to 0.14-1.5 mug ml(-1) with cloud point extraction, which was lower than those of most literature flow-through assays that also suffer from nonspecific absorption in the UV region. By preconcentrating 10 ml sample solution, a detection limit as low as 40.0 ng ml(-1) was obtained after a single-step extraction, achieving a preconcentration factor of 10. The stoichiometric composition of the dye was found to be 1 : 4 (PAP : CAL4). The impact of a number of parameters such as concentrations of CAL4, KIO(4), Triton X-100 (TX-100), and TX-114, extraction temperature, time periods for incubation and centrifugation, and sample volume were investigated in detail. The determination of PAP in the presence of paracetamol in micellar systems under these conditions is limited. The established procedures were successfully adopted for the determination of PCT in urine samples. Since the drug is rapidly absorbed and excreted largely in urine and its high doses have been associated with lethal hepatic necrosis and renal failure, development of a rapid, sensitive and selective assay of PCT is of vital importance for fast urinary screening and antidote administration before applying more sophisticated, but costly and laborious hyphenated instrumental techniques of HPLC-SPE-NMR-MS.  相似文献

A defining set of a t?(v, k, ??) design is a subcollection of its blocks which is contained in a unique t-design with the given parameters. A minimal defining set is a defining set, none of whose proper subcollections is a defining set. The spectrum of minimal defining sets of a design D is the set {|M| | M is a minimal defining set of D}. The unique simple design with parameters ${{t-\left(v, k, \begin{array}{ll}\left(\begin{array}{ll}v-t\\ k-t\end{array}\right)\end{array}\right)}}$ is said to be the full design on v elements. This paper studies the minimal defining sets of full designs when t = 2 and k = 3. The largest known minimal defining set is given. The existence of a continuous section of the spectrum comprising asymptotically 9v 2/50 values is shown. This gives a quadratic length section of continuous spectrum where only a linear section with respect to v was known before.  相似文献

We have previously reported that the silane coating of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) of maghemite phase could be used to protect iron oxide cores during plasma heat treatment, and even help to reduce their phase to magnetite with higher magnetization. In this work, an additional layer of an electrically conductive polypyrrole was added on top of the silane-coated MNPs, producing core?Cshell particles with sizes ranging from 150 to 500?nm. A microwave plasma heat treatment was used to convert the amorphous, already-conductive polypyrrole coatings into a more electrically conductive graphitic structure, while simultaneously reducing the iron oxide phase to magnetite. The treatment produced core?Cshell particles with better microwave absorption properties over the frequency of 1?C18?GHz, with a maximum reflection loss (absorption) of these MNPs at ?37?dB at 10.3?GHz for samples containing 70?wt% of plasma-treated core?Cshell nanoparticles embedded in wax. By comparison, the maximum absorption for the same amount of untreated nanoparticles was only ?18?dB at 7.5?GHz. The improved electromagnetic wave absorption properties were due to higher electrical conductivity of the more ordered, graphitic-like polypyrrole shell structures. This relatively simple protocol could thus be used to synthesize highly magnetic and conductive nanocomposites for electromagnetic interference shielding applications, particularly at the high frequency range.  相似文献

A numerical investigation of the properties of two different ion-acoustic solitons has been performed by using analytical solutions of the Schamel equation. A new type of the analytical solution of the Schamel equation that describes soliton propagation with a negative phase velocity has been found for the first time. This new type of the solution has been applied to investigate the physical properties of two different plasmas and to understand the effect of nonextensivity and the effect of trapped electrons on ion-acoustic waves in a superthermal plasma. It is shown that the soliton amplitude and width depend on the nonextensivity parameter, superthermality of the electron distribution, and characteristic trapping parameter.  相似文献
