The stability of C60 and palladium two-component films, C60/Pd, has been investigated. The effect of different polymerization conditions on the electrochemical stability of the film upon prolonged potential cycling has been studied. Stable voltammetric behavior was observed for polymers formed at potentials less negative than the potential of third C60 reduction step. The incorporation of palladium particles into the structure of C60/Pd polymers increases the polymer stability. The C60/Pd films are doped with supporting electrolyte cations during reduction. The size of these cations is a crucial factor in determining the stability of the film. A strong solvent effect on the potential stability of the film was also observed. The wildest range of stable voltammetric properties was found for acetonitrile and N,N-dimethylformamide. No effect of the temperature on the film stability was observed. The results reported in this work allow for the determination of the optimal conditions for the formation of stable C60/Pd films.  相似文献

A new procedure is proposed for the sampling and storage of hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and volatile thiols (methanethiol or methyl mercaptan, ethanethiol and propanethiol) for their determination by liquid chromatography. The sampling procedure is based on the trapping/pre-concentration of the analytes in alkaline aqueous solution containing an organic mercurial probe p-hydroxymercurybenzoate, HO-Hg-C6H4-COO (PHMB), where they are derivatized to stable PHMB complexes based on mercury-sulfur covalent bonds. PHMB complexes are separated on a C18 reverse phase column, allowing their determination by liquid chromatography coupled with sequential non-selective UV-vis (DAD) and mercury specific (chemical vapor generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry, CVGAFS) on-line detectors. PHMB complexes, S(PHMB)2CH3S-PHMB, C2H5S-PHMB and C3H7S-PHMB, are stable alt least for 12 h at room temperature and for 3 months if stored frozen (−20 °C).The best analytical figures of merits in the optimized conditions were obtained by CVGAFS detection, with detection limits (LODc) of 9.7 μg L−1 for H2S, 13.7 μg L−1 for CH3SH, 17.7 μg L−1 for C2H5SH and 21.7 μg L−1 for C3H7SH in the trapping solution in form of RS-PHMB complexes, the relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) ranging between 1.0 and 1.5%, and a linear dynamic range (LDR) between 10 and 9700 μg L−1. Conventional UV absorbance detectors tuned at 254 nm can be employed as well with comparable R.S.D. and LDR, but with LODc one order of magnitude higher than AFS detector and lower specificity. The sampling procedure followed by LC-DAD-CVGAFS analysis has been validated, as example, for H2S determination by a certified gas permeation tube as a source of 3.071 ± 0.154 μg min−1 of H2S, giving a recovery of 99.8 ± 7% and it has been applied to the determination of sulfur compounds in real gas samples (biogas and the air of a plant for fractional distillation of crude oil).  相似文献

Liquid chromatography (LC) coupled on line with UV/visible diode array detector (DAD) and cold vapour generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry (CVGAFS) has been developed for the speciation, determination and characterization of phytochelatins (PCs). The method is based on a bidimensional approach, e.g. on the analysis of synthetic PC solutions (apo-PCs and Cd(2+)-complexed PCs) (i) by size exclusion chromatography coupled to UV diode array detector (SEC-DAD); (ii) by the derivatization of PC -SH groups in SEC fractions by p-hydroxymercurybenzoate (PHMB) and the indirect detection of PC-PHMB complexes by reversed phase liquid chromatography coupled to atomic fluorescence detector (RPLC-CVGAFS). MALDI-TOF/MS (matrix assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry) analysis of underivatized synthetic PC samples was performed in order have a qualitative information of their composition. Quantitative analysis of synthetic PC solutions has been performed on the basis of peak area of PC-PHMB complexes of the mercury specific chromatogram and calibration curve of standard solution of glutathione (GSH) complexed to PHMB (GS-PHMB). The limit of quantitation (LOQ) in terms of GS-PHMB complex was 90 nM (CV 5%) with an injection volume of 35 microL, corresponding to 3.2 pmol (0.97 ng) of GSH. The method has been applied to analysis of extracts of cell cultures from Phaeodactylum tricornutum grown in Cd-containing nutrient solutions, analysed by SEC-DAD-CVGAFS and RPLC-DAD-CVGAFS.  相似文献

The crystal structures of tetrabromocobaltate(II) and tetrabromomanganate(II) salts of general formula [(C2H5)4N]2[CoBr4] (1) and [(C4H9)4N]2[MnBr4] (2) were determined. The manganese and cobalt cations are four-coordinated by bromide anions and they adopt a slightly distorted tetrahedral coordination. In the structure of both compounds there are neither hydrogen bonds nor any unusual short-range intermolecular interactions. Magnetic measurements of the powdered samples gave negative values of the Weiss constants equal to −4.9 and −1.1 K for (1) and (2), respectively, which suggest antiferromagnetic interactions to be transferred within the crystal lattice.  相似文献

In addition, reported cases of the exploration of β-amino-α-trifluoromethyl alcohols for the preparation of trifluoromethylated peptidomimetics and other biologically active, fluorinated compounds are discussed. The reaction of S-nitrosocaptopril (NOcap) formation was studied in both aqueous acid and basic medium. Captopril (cap) reacts rapidly with nitrous acid in strong acid medium to give the stable--in the timescale of the experiments--NOcap. The kinetic study of the reaction involving the use of stopped-flow, shows that at low sodium nitrite (nit) concentration, the reaction is first-order in both [nit], [H(+)], and is strongly catalysed by Cl(-) or Br(-) (= X(-)): rate = (k(3) + k(4)[X(-)])[H(+)][nit][cap]. In aqueous buffered solution of acetic acid-acetate the reaction rate is much slower and the decomposition of NOcap was observed; however, the rate of NOcap decay is more than 30-fold slower than its formation. In aqueous basic medium of carbonate-hydrogen carbonate buffer, as well as in alkaline medium, the kinetics of the nitroso group (NO) transfer from tert-butyl nitrite (tBN) to cap was studied using either conventional or stopped flow methods. In mild basic medium, the NOcap decomposes. The NOcap formation is first-order in both tBN and cap concentrations, and the reaction rate increases with pH until to, approximately, pH 11.5, above which value it becomes pH independent or even invariable with the [OH(-)]. Kinetic results show that the thiolate ion of cap is the reactive species. In fact, the presence of anionic micelles of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) inhibits the reaction due to the separation of the reagents; whereas, cationic micelles of tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTABr) catalyse the reaction at low surfactant concentration due to reagents concentration in the small volume of the micelle. The rate equation is: rate = k(f) K(SH)[cap][tBN]/(K(SH) + [H(+)]). The rate of NOcap decomposition in mild basic medium is first-order in both [cap] and [NOcap], and decreases on increasing pH; but, in alkaline medium the NOcap is stable within the timescale of the experiments. Based on the results, the NOcap decomposition yields the disulfide compound that is formed in the nucleophilic attack of the -SH group of cap to the sulfur electrophilic center of NOcap, -S-N=O. The resulting rate equation is: rate = k(d)[H(+)][cap][NOcap]/(K(SH) + [H(+)]).  相似文献

We investigated the chemisorption of self-assembled monolayers of sulfur-functionalized 4-amino-7-nitrobenzofurazan on gold and silver nanoisland films (NIFs) by means of surface-enhanced fluorescence (SEF) and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The ligand is a push–pull molecule, where an intramolecular charge transfer occurs between an electron-donor and an electron-acceptor group, thus exhibiting nonlinear optical properties that are related to both SERS and SEF effects. The presence of different heteroatoms in the molecule ensures the possibility of chemical interaction with both silver and gold substrates. The SERS spectra suggest that furazan is bound to silver via lone pairs of the nitrogen atoms, whereas the ligand is linked to gold via a sulfur atom. Silver NIFs provide more efficient enhancement of both fluorescence and Raman scattering in comparison with gold NIFs. The present SEF and SERS investigation could provide useful information for foreseeing changes in the nonlinear responses of this push–pull molecule.  相似文献

A facile synthetic route for the preparation of dicationic ethylene glycol based‐ionic liquids (ILs) via the azide/alkyne “click” reaction is presented. The copper(I) catalyzed, microwave‐assisted azide/alkyne “click” reaction between diazido‐ethylene glycols and the corresponding alkyne containing IL‐head group enables a simple preparation of different sets of poly(ethylene glycol)‐based ILs. Beside tetra‐ and hexa(ethylene glycol)‐based ILs, also oligomeric (Mn = 400 g/mol) and polymeric ILs (Mn up to 1550 g/mol) could be prepared in good yield and with full conversion of the ionic head group. The prepared ILs were extensively characterized via NMR spectroscopy and ESI‐time‐of‐flight (TOF) mass spectroscopy, revealing the formation of multiply charged ions in the negative mode.
