We report a simple, compact electronic speckle-pattern interferometer (ESPI) incorporating holographic optical elements (HOEs) for the study of out-of-plane vibration. Reflection and transmission HOEs provide reference and object beams in the interferometer. The alignment difficulties with conventional ESPI systems are minimized using HOEs. The time-average ESPI subtraction method is used to generate the fringe pattern and remove background speckle noise by introducing a phase shift between consecutive images. The amplitude and phase maps are obtained using path-difference modulation.  相似文献

The Eupatorium odoratum leaf peroxidase exists as at least seven distinct isozymes (three cationic, three anionic, and one neutral). These isozymes were identified and separated by preparative iso-electric focusing. Thermal stability, including the activation enthalpy (ΔH *), free energy of inactivation (ΔG *) and activation entropy (ΔS *), and kinetic studies of two isozymes, one having a pI of 5.0 (E5) and another one having a pI of 7.0 (E7) with mol mass of 43 and 50 kD, respectively, were studied in detail. Of the molecular weight of E5 and E7, 25 and 32% correspond to the carbohydrate content of the isozymes. Optimal pH was in the acidic range of 3.6–3.8 for E5 and 3.8 for E7 with the oxidation of ABTS. E7 and E5 showed activation energy for inactivation, 194.8 and 145.4 kJ/mol, respectively. Both the isozymes showed distinct substrate specificity. The catalytic specificity constant for E5 and E7 were 112×105 and 124×105/s·M, respectively, when 2,2′-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenz-thiazoline-6 sulfonic acid) was used as the substrate. Maximum affinity (i.e., lowest K m value) to H2O2 was shown by E5 and E7 along with Pyrogallol and was 0.02 and 0.05/s·M, respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of [ReX(CO)5] with thiosemicarbazones H2L(R) derived from beta-keto esters (X = Cl, Br; R = Me, Ph) allowed the isolation of cyclic trimeric complexes [Re3(pyz(R))3(CO)9], where pyz(R) is the pyrazolonate corresponding to the thiosemicarbazone. Electron spray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI-FTICR-MS) monitoring of the reactions of H2L(Ph) in toluene confirmed that the trimer was formed in the reaction mixture and no higher oligomer was detected. These studies, together with the X-ray structures of the trimeric complexes, afford new insight into the factors influencing the self-assembly of pyrazolonaterhenium(I) complexes.  相似文献

[Structure: see text] The C-sulfatide 1b was synthesized through a [2,3]-Wittig sigmatropic rearrangement and a Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons olefination as the key steps. The essential oils of four Teucrium species were studied and 131 components, in all, were identified. All oils were rich in sesquiterpenes (50.0-61.9%). Caryophyllene and caryophyllene oxide were the main components of Teucrium arduini; germacrene D, delta-cadinene and gamma-cadinene predominated in Teucrium maghrebinum. Carvacrol and caryophyllene predominated in Teucrium polium ssp. capitatum, while carvacrol, caryophyllene oxide and caryophyllene were the most abundant components in Teucrium montbretii ssp. heliotropiifolium. The germination of radish and garden cress was less sensitive to the four essential oils. The radicle elongation, above all, of radish was significantly inhibited by all oils, in particular by the essential oil of T. arduini, at the highest doses tested. Among the main components of the oils, monoterpenes resulted the more active compounds.  相似文献

Palladium nanoparticles stabilized primarily within the protein cavity of a highly thermostable Dps protein (DNA binding protein from starved cells) from the thermophilic bacterium Thermosynechoccus elongatus provide an efficient catalyst for the homocoupling of boronic acids and potassium aryltrifluoroborates in water under aerobic phosphine-free conditions. Symmetrical biaryls have been isolated in good to excellent yields. Potassium aryltrifluoroborates give similar or better results than the corresponding arylboronic acids.  相似文献

Catalysts based on Pt and Rh modified with Sn(C4H9)4 were studied in the hydrogenation of 4-methoxyacetophenone. The selectivity to 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethanol was close to 100% at Sn/(Pt,Rh) = 1.0, however the catalytic activity decreased drastically. With respect to the balance between activity and selectivity the catalyst PtSnOM (Sn/Pt=0.4) showed the best performance.  相似文献

A procedure for enhanced capillary electrophoresis-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (CE-ESI-MS) of proteins is presented. The use of a newly presented capillary coating, PolyE-323, provided fast separations of typically a few minutes with high efficiency, good deactivation, and no bleeding into the mass spectrometer. Capillaries coated with PolyE-323 showed high stability over a range of pH 2-10, and tolerance towards methanol and acetonitrile, two modifiers commonly used in CE-ESI-MS. Due to the speed and simplicity of the coating procedure, the polymeric surface could, if necessary, easily be regenerated. This capability is especially valuable when working with samples of complex matrix, where a capillary surface cleaning step might be desired in order to eliminate possible memory effects. The potential of PolyE-323-coated capillaries in bioanalysis using CE-ESI-MS was demonstrated by analyzing peptides and proteins up to 66 kDa using time of flight (TOF)-MS. Due to the stable, anodal electroosmotic flow generated by the coating, the use of a sheathless ESI interface was enabled, demonstrated in peptide analysis with attomole sensitivity. The fast on-line CE-ESI-TOF system using PolyE-323-coated capillaries provided efficient separation and detection of a large number of peaks in a short time, exemplified by the analysis of a tryptic digest of bovine serum albumin (BSA). The capability of the developed capillary surface coating was demonstrated by the separation of human plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).  相似文献
