Pyrazolodithiones of expected biological activity were examined as thermal stabilizers and co-stabilizers for rigid poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) in air at 180?°C. Their high stabilizing efficiency were shown by their high thermal stability values (T s), which is the time needed for the liberation of HCl gas, if compared with dibasic lead carbonate (DBLC) and calcium?Czinc soap (Ca?CZn soap) reference stabilizers used industrially, with better extent of discoloration. Blending these derivatives with reference stabilizers in different ratios greatly lengthens the thermal stability value and improves the extent of discoloration of the PVC. The structure of the novel organic stabilizers was confirmed by elemental analysis, FTIR, Mass spectra, and 1H-NMR. Thermogravimetric analyses confirmed the improved stability of PVC in the presence of the investigated organic stabilizers, compared to blank PVC and PVC stabilized with the reference stabilizers. Also, GPC measurements were done to investigate the changes occurred in the molecular masses of the degraded samples of PVC in presence of the newly synthesized stabilizers. The stabilizing efficiency of pyrazolodithiones is attributed to the replacement of the labile chlorine atoms on the PVC chains by a relatively more stable moiety of the organic stabilizer. The investigated stabilizers showed a good antimicrobial activity toward two kinds of bacteria, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus; and also toward two kinds of fungi, Aspergillus flavus and Candida albicans. They also exhibited antitumor activity against both liver and colon human cell lines.  相似文献

Synthesis and characterization of [o-carboxy phenylazo] moiety of barbituric acid, thiobarbituric acid, thiouracil, citrazinic acid, and disodium chromotropate and their complexes derived from cobalt (II), nickel (II), and copper (II) salts were done. The stereochemistry and the mode of bonding of the complexes were achieved based on elemental analysis, NMR, UV-Vis, IR and ESR. The Ni0.27Cu0.10Zn0.63Fe1.96Al0.04O4 (NCZA) magnetic bulk ceramics is prepared via conventional solid state reaction technique. X-ray diffraction study has confirmed the single phase spinel crystal structure. The surface morphology has been studied and found small grain size distributions that are separated by well-defined grain boundaries. Besides, to understand the thermal and frequency variation of the electrical and dielectric properties, the investigation has done at different selected temperatures (Tm = 300, 323, 373, 423, 473, 523 and 573) over a range of frequency (20 Hz to 2 MHz) throughout a non-destructive impedance spectroscopy technique. It is observed that the dielectric constant has increased with the increase of Tm as well as frequency. The impedance plot showed two semicircular arcs due to the distinguishing relaxation time constant of charge carrier of grain and grain boundaries. Modulus spectroscopy has been carried out to analyze the mechanism of electrical transport process in the ceramics.  相似文献

A new preservation approach is presented in this article to prolong the lifetime of raw chicken meat and enhance its quality at 4 °C via coating with highly soluble kidney bean protein hydrolysate. The hydrolysates of the black, red, and white kidney protein (BKH, RKH, and WKH) were obtained after 30 min enzymatic hydrolysis with Alcalase (E/S ratio of 1:100, hydrolysis degree 25–29%). The different phaseolin subunits (8S) appeared in SDS-PAGE in 35–45 kD molecular weight range while vicilin appeared in the molecular weight range of 55–75 kD. The kidney bean protein hydrolysates have considerable antioxidant activity as evidenced by the DPPH-scavenging activity and β-carotine-linolenic assay, as well as antimicrobial activity evaluated by disc diffusion assay. BKH followed by RKH (800 µg/mL) significantly (p ≤ 0.05) scavenged 95, 91% of DPPH and inhibited 82–88% of linoleic oxidation. The three studied hydrolysates significantly inhibited the growth of bacteria, yeast, and fungi, where BKH was the most performing. Kidney bean protein hydrolysates could shield the chicken meat because of their amphoteric nature and many functional properties (water and oil-absorbing capacity and foaming stability). The quality of chicken meat was assessed by tracing the fluctuations in the chemical parameters (pH, met-myoglobin, lipid oxidation, and TVBN), bacterial load (total bacterial count, and psychrophilic count), color parameters and sensorial traits during cold preservation (4 °C). The hydrolysates (800 µg/g) significantly p ≤ 0.05 reduced the increment in meat pH and TVBN values, inhibited 59–70% of lipid oxidation as compared to control during 30 days of cold storage via eliminating 50% of bacterial load and maintained secured storage for 30 days. RKH and WKH significantly (p ≤ 0.05) enhanced L*, a* values, thus augmented the meat whiteness and redness, while, BKH increased b* values, declining all color parameters during meat storage. RKH and WKH (800 µg/g) (p ≤ 0.05) maintained 50–71% and 69–75% of meat color and odor, respectively, increased the meat juiciness after 30 days of cold storage. BKH, RKH and WKH can be safely incorporated into novel foods.  相似文献

Abstract  Condensation of 2-acetylpyrrole with 5-methylfuran-2-carboxyaldehyde and 4-chlorobenzaldehyde in 20% NaOH give the corresponding 2-chalconylpyrroles. Some new 2-alkoxy-3-cyano-4,6-diarylpyridines were synthesized by condensation of chalcones with malononitrile, followed by cyclization in sodium alkoxide. The reactivity of chalcones towards nitrogen nucleophiles such as thiourea and hydroxylamine hydrochloride to provide thiopyrimidines and isoxazolines was investigated. Graphical Abstract     相似文献

The hypoglycemic and antioxidants activities of the methanol extract of Lepidium sativum seeds was tested in alloxan-induced diabetic male rats. Thirty male albino rats weighing 190–200 g were divided into five groups as follows: negative control, positive control and three diabetic groups treated with three concentrations of L. sativum methanol extract for four weeks. Induction of hyperglycemia in the positive control group increased blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin A1c, immunoglobulins, liver enzyme, lipid peroxide and kidney function, total cholesterol, low-density lipoproteins, very low-density lipoproteins and decreased antioxidants and high-density lipoproteins compared with the negative control. Furthermore, pancreas tissues showed pathological changes compared with the negative control. Treating the diabetic rats with L. sativum methanol extract decreased blood sugar and restored all biochemical and histological changes to the normal. It could be concluded that L. sativum methanol extract succeeded in controlling diabetes, increasing antioxidants and ameliorating lipid profile.  相似文献

A 2(5H)‐furanone bearing two furyl rings was synthesized. The behavior of this furanone toward some nitrogen nucleophiles, namely, hydrazine hydrate, benzylamine, and ammonium acetate, was studied. The nitrile group at position‐3 of the furanone was utilized to construct thiazolidine ring by the action of thioglycollic acid. The acid hydrazide synthesized from the previous step was allowed to react with some carbonyl compounds, namely, acetonylacetone, acetylacetone, ethyl acetoacetate, ethyl cinnamate, diethylmalonate, phthalic anhydride, benzil, and 4‐methoxybenzaldehyde, to form pyrrole, pyrazole, and pyrazolopyridazine ring systems bearing two furyl groups. The structures of all the products obtained were illustrated from their analytical and spectral data.  相似文献

In this work plastic strain localization, also referred to as necking, of press-hardened ultra-high strength steel is observed using digital speckle correlation. The region of the neck is studied during tensile tests of specimens specially designed to facilitate strain localization at an inner point of the material, thus avoiding edge effects on localization and fracture. By using measurements with a length scale small enough to properly resolve the neck, its growth and shape can be studied. Furthermore, the anisotropy of the material is investigated by examining specimens cut out at different angles to the rolling direction. It is seen that the local fracture strain of specimens cut out along the rolling direction is approximately twice as high as it is for specimens cut out perpendicular to the rolling direction.  相似文献
