The color efficiency of ceramic glaze blue pigments obtained by the Pechini method was presented in this work. The fired pigments
and enameled samples were characterized by thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA), XRD, UV-VIS-NIR
spectroscopy and CIE-L*a*b* color-measurements. The pigments obtained by the Pechini method present a better solubility in
the molten glazes than the pigments obtained by the mechanical mixture of the precursor oxides.

A search for direct CP violation in the nonleptonic decays of hyperons has been performed. In comparing the product of the decay parameters, alpha(Xi)alpha(Lambda), in terms of an asymmetry parameter, A(XiLambda), between hyperons and antihyperons in the charged Xi-->Lambdapi and Lambda-->ppi decay sequence, we found no evidence of direct CP violation. This paper reports on the measurements of transport properties of high crystalline quality Sn doped In2O3 nanobelts. The samples presented metallic conduction in a large range of temperatures; however, at low temperatures, the resistivity showed a slight increase and the current–voltage curves showed a tendency to saturate even in the low-voltage range. From these observations, we discuss some arguments on the possibility of low dimensional conducting channels as the main responsible for the conduction at low temperatures. Additionally, we present an alternative technique for production of low resistance ohmic contacts, which can be further used in devices’ construction. 相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of a zirconium complex, having two alkoxide functionalized N‐heterocyclic carbene ligands, and its behavior as catalyst in the polymerization of ethylene and propylene, have been reported. NMR analysis showed that more than one species was obtained during synthesis. These data were confirmed by ethylene polymerization that gave rise to a linear polyethylene having a high Molecular weight and a polydispersity index (MDI) > 2 and often bimodal. The same catalytic system was able to produce highly isotactic polypropylene together with an atactic fraction. In this communication, we report on the formation of calcium hexahydroxodizincate dehydrate, CaZn2(OH)6·2H2O (CZO) powders under microwave-hydrothermal (MH) conditions. These powders were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field-emission gum scanning electron microscopy (FEG-SEM), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL) measurements. XRD patterns confirmed that the pure CZO phase was obtained after MH processing performed at 130 °C for 2 h. FEG-SEM micrographs indicated that the morphological modifications as well as the growth of CZO microparticles are governed by Ostwald-ripening and coalescence mechanisms. UV-vis spectra showed that this material have an indirect optical band gap. The pure CZO powders exhibited an yellow PL emission when excited by 350 nm wavelength at room temperature. 相似文献

A determination of sin2 θ w based on measurements of elastic scattering of muon-neutrinos and muon-anti-neutrinos on atomic electrons is described. These purely leptonic processes were studied using the CHARM calorimeter exposed to neutrino and antineutrino wide-band beams at the CERN super proton synchrotron. A total of 83±16 neutrino-electron and 112±21 antineutrino-electron events have been detected. From the measurement of the ratio of muon-neutrino and muon-antineutrino cross-sections a value of sin2 θ w =0.211±0.037 was obtained. 相似文献

We report on experiments on the effects of air bubbles on ultrasound velocity measurements in fluids. We used an acoustic Doppler velocimeter system for measuring the three velocity components in a single point and an acoustic Doppler velocimetry profiler system for measuring axial velocity in several points along the beam. The results suggest that both systems essentially measure the velocity of the bubbles, independent of the low air-volume concentration and of bubble radii in the flow field. 相似文献

This work reports on the synthesis and characterization of a new complex of Eu3+ with the 3-hydroxypicolinamide ligand (Hhpa). Here we present an approach for obtaining bis[2-carbamoyl(κO)pyridin-3-olato(κO’)]
lanthanide complexes, which were characterized through elemental analysis, thermal analysis, infrared and photoluminescence
spectroscopies (emission, excitation, luminescence lifetimes, quantum efficiencies, Judd-Ofelt parameters and quantum yields).
Although hpa can act as a bidentate ligand in different conformations, the results attest for the occurrence of a unique coordination
site of low symmetry for the Eu3+ ions, in which two anionic hpa ligands coordinate the cations through an O/O chelating system. The phosphorescence of the
synthesized gadolinium complex provides the energy of the triplet state, which is determined to be at 20,830 cm-1 over the ground state. This makes the Hhpa ligand very adequate for sensitizing the Eu3+ luminescence, which leads to a very efficient antenna effect and opens a wide range of applications for the complex in light

materials in electro-optical like solid-state lasers and optical fibers, for instance. In this work Sr1−xEuxMoO4 powders, where x = 0.01; 0.03 and 0.05, were synthesized by Complex Polymerization (CP) Method. The structural and optical
properties of the SrMoO4:Eu3+ were analyzed by powder X-ray diffraction patterns, Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR), Raman Spectroscopy, and through Photoluminescent
Measurements (PL). Only a crystalline scheelite-type phase was obtained when the powders were heat-treated at 800 °C for 2 h,
2θ = 27.8° (100% peak). The excitation spectra of the SrMoO4:Eu3+ (λEm. = 614 nm) presented the characteristic band of the Eu3 + 5L6 transition at 394 nm and a broad band at around 288 nm ascribed to the charge-transfer from the O (2p) state to the Mo (4d)
one in the SrMoO4 matrix. The emission spectra of the SrMoO4:Eu3+ powders (λExc. = 394 and 288 nm) show the group of sharp emission bands among 523–554 nm and 578–699 nm, assigned to the 5D1→7F0,1and 2 and 5D0→7F0,1,2,3 and 4, respectively. The band related to the 5D0→7F0 transition indicates the presence of Eu3+ site without inversion center. This hypothesis is strengthened by the fact that the band referent to the 5D0→7F2 transition is the most intense in the emission spectra. 相似文献
