The kinetic principles of sorption of formaldehyde sorption on a polyfunctional weak-basic anion exchanger are considered. It is found that the limiting step of sorbate uptake is external diffusion. Herein, the design, synthesis, and characterization of a phenhomazine ligand are described. The ligand has six pendant acetate arms designed for the combined coordination of copper(II) and lanthanide(III) ions, with the perspective of developing a “turn-off” copper sensor. The key step for the ligand preparation was the one-step endomethylene bridge fission of a diamino Tröger's base with a concomitant alkylation. Fluorescence and absorption spectroscopies as well as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments were performed to analyze and understand the coordination properties of the ligand. Transition metal coordination was driven by the synergistic effect of the free nitrogen atoms of the diazocinic core and the two central acetate arms attached to those nitrogen atoms, whereas lanthanide coordination is performed by the external acetate arms, presumably forming a self-assembled 2:2 metallosupramolecular structure. The terbium complex shows the typical green emission with narrow bands and long luminescence lifetimes. The luminescence quenching produced by the presence of copper(II) ions was analyzed. This work sets, therefore, a starting point for the development of a phenhomazine-based “turn-off” copper(II) sensor.  相似文献

The development of efficient sensors for the determination of the water content in organic solvents is highly desirable for a number of chemical industries. Presented herein is a Mg2+ metal–organic framework (MOF), which exhibits the remarkable capability to rapidly detect traces of water (0.05–5 % v/v) in various organic solvents through an unusual turn‐on luminescence sensing mechanism. The extraordinary sensitivity and fast response of this MOF for water, and its reusability make it one of the most powerful water sensors known.  相似文献

The influence of the electrode potential on the electric conductivity of polymer complexes of nickel with salen-type ligands (where salen is N,N′-ethylene-bis(salicylideneimine)) differing by substituents in ligand′s benzene ring is studied in the course of measuring cyclic voltammograms. The highest electron conductivity is observed for the film of poly[N,N′-ethylene-bis(3-methoxysalicylideneiminato) nickel(II)] (poly[Ni(CH3OSalen)]) in 1 M LiPF6 solution in the ethylene carbonate-diethylcarbonate mixture (EC: DEC = 1: 1). Poly[N,N′-ethylene-bis(3-methyl-salicyleneiminato) nickel(II)] (or poly[Ni(CH3Salen)]) was found to have the widest potential range of electronic conductivity. Conditions are selected for synthesizing films from solutions of the corresponding monomers in 1 M LiPF6 EC: DEC electrolyte. The electrode potential intervals suitable for the use of poly[Ni(CH3Salen)] as the buffer interlayer between the aluminum substrate and the cathode mass in lithium-ion batteries for protecting the latter against overcharge are found.
