The photodissociation spectroscopy and dynamics resulting from excitation of the B (2)A(")<--X (2)A(") transition of CH(2)CFO have been examined using fast beam photofragment translational spectroscopy. The photofragment yield spectrum reveals vibrationally resolved structure between 29 870 and 38 800 cm(-1), extending approximately 6000 cm(-1) higher in energy than previously reported in a laser-induced fluorescence excitation spectrum. At all photon energies investigated, only the CH(2)F+CO and HCCO+HF fragment channels are observed. Both product channels yield photofragment translational energy distributions that are characteristic of a decay mechanism with a barrier to dissociation. Using the barrier impulsive model, it is shown that fragmentation to CH(2)F+CO products occurs on the ground state potential energy surface with the isomerization barrier between CH(2)CFO and CH(2)FCO governing the observed translational energy distributions.  相似文献

The electrophoretic mobility ratio (R value) of any two ions is constant and independent of the capillary type and electrophoretic conditions if their electrical charges and hydration radii are constant. The use of strong acid salts and quaternary ammonium salts is therefore proposed for the determination of R values. Such analytes are called markers. The following determinations can be carried out: (i) the determination of the migration time corresponding to the electroosmotic flow (EOF) in any capillary under any electrophoretic condition by measuring the migration times of two markers in the condition studied (useful when the EOF is weak); (ii) the determination of the migration time of an analyte in any capillary by knowing the migration time of the markers in the capillary studied. If the pH is changed and the ionization of the analyte is pH dependent, the resulting migration time for the analyte can be calculated. The constancy of the mobility ratios of seven markers was checked experimentally at eight different pH values (between pH 3 and 10), at three temperatures, and for two buffer concentrations. The predicted and experimental migration times were also compared in two different types of capillaries.  相似文献

Natural plant compounds, such as betaine, are described to have nematocidal properties. Betaine also acts as a neurotransmitter in the free-living model nematode Caenorhabditis elegans, where it is required for normal motility. Worm motility is mediated by nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs), including subunits from the nematode-specific DEG-3 group. Not all types of nAChRs in this group are associated with motility, and one of these is the DEG-3/DES-2 channel from C. elegans, which is involved in nociception and possibly chemotaxis. Interestingly, the activity of DEG-3/DES-2 channel from the parasitic nematode of ruminants, Haemonchus contortus, is modulated by monepantel and its sulfone metabolite, which belong to the amino-acetonitrile derivative anthelmintic drug class. Here, our aim was to advance the pharmacological knowledge of the DEG-3/DES-2 channel from C. elegans by functionally expressing the DEG-3/DES-2 channel in Xenopus laevis oocytes and using two-electrode voltage-clamp electrophysiology. We found that the DEG-3/DES-2 channel was more sensitive to betaine than ACh and choline, but insensitive to monepantel and monepantel sulfone when used as direct agonists and as allosteric modulators in co-application with betaine. These findings provide important insight into the pharmacology of DEG-3/DES-2 from C. elegans and highlight the pharmacological differences between non-parasitic and parasitic nematode species.  相似文献

Silica xerogels were synthesized and annealed at 1000 degrees C for different durations to yield stable silica materials. The samples were prepared through base-catalyzed hydrolysis and condensation of tetramethyl orthosilicate in methanol. After aging and drying steps, clear and solid xerogels exhibiting a narrow pore size distribution were achieved. The annealing treatment of these xerogels was performed at 1000 degrees C and proved in the present study to lead to a monolithic glass when a progressive heat-treatment procedure was employed to attain 1000 degrees C. In addition to the expected glass, silica foams and ordered phases were observed when the samples were instantaneously heat-treated at 1000 degrees C. Raman spectra of the foamed materials exhibit the classical features of amorphous silica, whereas transmission electronic microscopy pictures reveal the presence of crystallized domains within the vitreous matrix. These crystallites are prone to nucleation and growth processes, which jeopardize the believed stability of the silica foam. The assessment of the hydroxyl content by IR spectroscopy reveals the role played by the latter polycondensation of silanols. The occurrence of foaming process was thus found to result from two competitive phenomena occurring at 1000 degrees C: evacuation of water-related species and viscous sintering.  相似文献

A mild and efficient iron (III)-catalyzed C3 chalcogenylation of indoles has been developed and the role of the iodide ions in this transformation was investigated. EPR experiments revealed the reduction of Fe(III) to Fe(II) under the reaction conditions, supporting the formation of molecular iodine in the system, which in effect catalyze the reaction. The scope of the chalcogenylation was broad and the synthesis of more functionalized 3-selenylindoles was explored.  相似文献

Transglucosylation reactions using sucrose as glucosyl donor and either N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, L-rhamnose, or methyl α -L-rhamnopyranoside as acceptors were carried out with recombinant glucansucrases from families 70 and 13 of glycoside-hydrolases. Depending on the enzyme specificity, various carbohydrate structures were synthesized and characterized including α -D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, α -D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, α -D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 1)-β -L-rhamnopyranoside, α -D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-α -D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 1)-β -L-rhamnopyranoside, methyl α -D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-α -L-rhamnopyranoside, and methyl α -D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-α -L-rhamnopyranoside. Disaccharides were obtained with yields going up to 64%. The structural diversity generated as well as the obtained yields appear to be related to enzyme active site architecture, which can be modulated and improved by enzyme engineering. Several of the obtained disaccharides enter in the composition of surface polysaccharides of pathogenic bacteria, among which is Shigella flexneri. Our results outline the potential of glucansucrases in the chemo-enzymatic synthesis of complex carbohydrates of biological interest whose chemical synthesis may be seen as a limitation.  相似文献

Nitroxide‐mediated polymerization (NMP) is one of the most powerful reversible deactivation radical polymerization techniques and has incredibly gained in maturity and robustness over the last decades. However, control of methacrylic esters is one of the different aspects of NMP that still requires improvement. This family of monomers always represented an important challenge for NMP, despite the many different nitroxide structures that have been designed over the course of time. This Review aims to present the most successful strategies directed toward the control of the NMP technique of methacrylic esters and especially methyl methacrylate. NMP‐derived materials comprising uncontrolled methacrylate segments will also be discussed.
