The photochemistry of some Hantzsch 4-phenyl-1,4-dihydropyridines bearing a substituent on the phenyl ring (the three isomeric chloro derivatives and the 4′-nitro derivative) has been studied. All of these compounds underwent inefficient aromatization to the corresponding pyridines (quantum yield <10−4 at 366 nm, <10−2 at 254 nm). This process is scarcely affected by molecular oxygen and is initiated by proton transfer (from C4-H), probably to the solvent, from the excited singlet. In turn, the thus formed pyridines were photoreactive with comparable or higher efficiency. Thus, the 4-(3′-chlorophenyl) and 4-(4′-chlorophenyl) Hantzsch pyridines underwent positional rearrangement to form two isomers each. The reaction occurs via Dewar benzene--prismane path. In the case of the minor isomer a further 1,3-shift take place at the Dewar benzene level. The 4-(2′-chlorophenyl) derivative underwent C-Cl bond homolysis, which led to cyclization of the phenyl group onto one of the ester groups forming a pyrane ring.  相似文献

A novel reagent for photoaffinity labeling, 7-azido-1-ethyl-3-carboxylate-6,8-difluoroquinolone, was obtained by nucleophilic substitution of 1-ethyl-3-carboxylate-6,7,8-trifluoroquinolone. Photochemical reaction of this azide with diethyl amine gave 7-hydrazino-derivative as the major product. This compound was generated by singlet nitrene N-H insertion. In addition, 7-amino-1-ethyl-3-carboxylate-6,8-difluoroquinolone was also obtained.  相似文献

A novel ultramicroporous coordination polymer, namely [Cu(F-pymo)2(H2O)1.25]n (1, F-pymo = 5-fluoropyrimidin-2-olate), has been prepared and structurally characterized. 1 displays a zeolitic gismondine (GIS) topology, with ca. 2.9 A wide helical channels which, in the thermally activated counterpart (1'), account for a 13% void volume and are responsible for the observed selective solid-gas adsorption properties toward H2, N2, and CO2. At 77 K 1' behaves as a molecular sieve, selectively adsorbing H2 over N2, possibly due to size-exclusion reasons. At variance, although CO2 molecules are slightly larger than the pore size, they are readily incorporated by 1' at temperatures as high as 433 K. Variable-temperature X-ray powder diffraction (TXRPD) studies, in the temperature range 303-473 K, show that dehydration is reversible and has almost negligible effects on the network. At variance, the uptake of CO2 occurs through a transient phase and channels expansion. While the gas storage capacity of 1' is not very high-H2, 0.56 wt % and 0.010 kg H2/L at 90 K and 900 Torr, and CO2, 7.6 wt % at 273 K and 900 Torr-the guest molecules achieve very high densities, comparable to that of the liquid for H2 (0.023 vs 0.021 molecules A-3) and to that of the solid for CO2 (0.014 vs 0.022 molecules A-3). In addition, we have also studied the effect of the perturbation exerted by the guest molecules on its magnetic properties. The results show that while dehydration of 1 has negligible effect on its spin-canted antiferromagnetic behavior, CO2 incorporation in the pores is responsible for an increment of the transition temperature at which the weak ferromagnetic ordering takes place from 22 to 29 K.  相似文献

A random ethylene–propylene copolymer (EPM) functionalized with grafted diethylsuccinate groups was melt blended with increasing amount (to 20 wt%) of organophilic montmorillonite (OMMT) to prepare nanocomposites with different morphologies as evidenced by XRD and TEM analysis. All the nanocomposites were treated with boiling toluene that did not extract a significant amount of EPM. The increase of not-extracted EPM with the increasing quantity of OMMT suggested strong interactions of the polymer chains with the inorganic substrate. The DSC measurements of nanocomposites and the corresponding insoluble residues revealed a higher Tg values with larger amount of inorganic particles. The dielectric relaxation analysis confirmed the evidence of strong interactions among montmorillonite and the polar diethylsuccinate groups for the macromolecules trapped due to the presence of the inorganic layers. The results were discussed with reference to their relevance as an evidence of nanoconfinement at polymer clay interface and correlated with the clay basal distance variation due to the intercalation process.  相似文献

In this work, the dynamics of electronic energy transfer (EET) in bichromophoric donor–acceptor systems, obtained by functionalizing a calix[4]arene scaffold with two dyes, was experimentally and theoretically characterized. The investigated compounds are highly versatile, due to the possibility of linking the dye molecules to the cone or partial cone structure of the calix[4]arene, which directs the two active units to the same or opposite side of the scaffold, respectively. The dynamics and efficiency of the EET process between the donor and acceptor units was investigated and discussed through a combined experimental and theoretical approach, involving ultrafast pump–probe spectroscopy and density functional theory based characterization of the energetic and spectroscopic properties of the system. Our results suggest that the external medium strongly determines the particular conformation adopted by the bichromophores, with a direct effect on the extent of excitonic coupling between the dyes and hence on the dynamics of the EET process itself.  相似文献

Trans-Resveratrol (RV) is a natural polyphenol characterized by interesting pleiotropic potentials and health benefits, but its administration is hampered by a unsatisfactory pharmacokinetics. Various approaches have been identified to circumvent it: among them, 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrins (HPβCD) are valuable strategy. Here, we compare the employment of HPβCD based formulation with a resveratrol nanosupension (obtained by diluting a RV ethanol solution with PBS, added of 0.05 % hydroxyethylcellulose) to improve RV bioavailability after oral administration to mice. The inclusion of RV in HPβCD was confirmed by differential scanning calorimetry, Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy, and phase solubility study. The two formulations were orally administered to BALB-c mice. RV concentrations in plasma and tissues were detected at different time (0–120 min) by HPLC method. HPβCD complexation mediate a approximately fourfold increment in plasma RV Cmax and  approximately twofold augment of RV AUC0-120 in comparison with RV nanosuspension. Similar increased concentrations were observed in heart, liver, kidney and gut. In particular, HPβCD mediated a 5.5-folds increase of resveratrol concentration in the intestine, in comparison to the nanosuspension. In conclusion, based on our results, HPβCD complexation is a promising approach to increase the oral bioavailability of RV. Moreover, the achievement of high concentrations in gut suggested a potential employment of oral RV-HPβCD as anti-inflammatory/chemopreventive agent in this tissue.  相似文献

The evaluation of a novel medium‐polarity ionic‐liquid‐based gas chromatography column, SLB‐IL60, towards the analysis of a complex essential oil, namely, a peppermint essential oil sample, is reported. The SLB‐IL60 30 m column was subjected to bleeding measurements, by means of conventional gas chromatography with mass spectrometry. The SLB‐IL60 column was then evaluated in the analysis of pure standard compounds, chosen as typical constituents of peppermint essential oil. Resolution and peak symmetry (expressed as tailing factors at 10% of peak height) were measured and the results were compared to those obtained on the most widely used columns in such an application, namely a medium‐polarity [100% poly(ethyleneglycol)] stationary phase, and an apolar 5% diphenyl/95% dimethyl siloxane. The final part of the evaluation was dedicated to the gas chromatography with mass spectrometry analysis of a peppermint essential oil sample and again the data were compared to those obtained on the 100% poly(ethyleneglycol) and the 5% diphenyl/95% dimethyl siloxane phase. Linear retention indices were determined for all the identified components on the ionic liquid capillary.  相似文献

Excited‐state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) is a particularly well known reaction that has been very little studied in magnetic environments. In this work, we report on the photophysical behavior of a known ESIPT dye of the benzothiazole class, when in solution with uncoated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles, and when grafted to silica‐coated iron oxide nanoparticles. Uncoated iron oxide nanoparticles promoted the fluorescence quenching of the ESIPT dye, resulting from collisions during the lifetime of the excited state. The assembly of iron oxide nanoparticles with a shell of silica provided recovery of the ESIPT emission, due to the isolation promoted by the silica shell. The silica network gives protection against the fluorescence quenching of the dye, allowing the nanoparticles to act as a bimodal (optical and magnetic) imaging contrast agent with a large Stokes shift.  相似文献

For any affine variety equipped with coordinates, there is a surjective, continuous map from its Berkovich space to its tropicalisation. Exploiting torus actions, we develop techniques for finding an explicit, continuous section of this map. In particular, we prove that such a section exists for linear spaces, Grassmannians of planes (reproving a result due to Cueto, Häbich, and Werner), matrix varieties defined by the vanishing of 3 × 3-minors, and for the hypersurface defined by Cayley’s hyperdeterminant.  相似文献
