This article reports the successful synthesis and characterization of two types of completely biobased polymers prepared by the polycondensation or polytransesterification of suberin fragments, isolated by different procedures and from two different vegetable sources. These polymerizations were conducted with different experimental conditions in terms of the type of catalyst, the reaction medium and temperature, as well as the molar ratio between the reactive moieties. The ensuing linear or partly crosslinked polyesters were characterized by conventional spectroscopic techniques, SEC, DSC, XRD, DMA, and TGA. Starting from Smoluchowski's hypothesis, a simple algorithm is developed in order to obtain the apparent rate constant at large values of time, t, with some physical and chemical processes, as in the case of diffusion controlled reactions. Some practical examples are illustrated, assuming nonuniform distribution function, space-dependent diffusion coefficient or short-range interaction leading to an asymptotic analytical expression of the form α + β/√t, where α and β are constants function of the system of interest.  相似文献

A new complex of Cu(II) of stoichiometry [Cu(PCr)(H2O)] was prepared from aqueous solution at pH 6. Its synthesis, characterization, thermogravimetric, vibrational spectroscopy, and electron paramagnetic resonance analyses were described and suggest that phosphocreatine (PCr) in solid state is acting as a tridentate ligand (the nitrogen atom of the guanidine group and the oxygen atoms of the phosphate group and the carboxylate group being the donor atoms). The fourth position is occupied by a water molecule. These results were confirmed through computational calculations (DFT/B3LYP:6-311G theoretical procedure). The tetra coordination of Cu(II) arranged in a quadratic planar geometry was found to be more stable in the DFT calculations. The calculated vibrational spectrum agrees well with the FT-IR experimental spectrum.  相似文献

The numerical solution of the time‐dependent Navier–Stokes equations in terms of the vorticity and a stream function is a well tested process to describe two‐dimensional incompressible flows, both for fluid mixing applications and for studies in theoretical fluid mechanics. In this paper, we consider the interaction between the unsteady advection–diffusion equation for the vorticity, the Poisson equation linking vorticity and stream function and the approximation of the boundary vorticity, examining from a practical viewpoint, global iteration stability and error. Our results show that most schemes have very similar global stability constraints although there may be small stability gains from the choice of method to determine boundary vorticity. Concerning accuracy, for one model problem we observe that there were cases where the boundary vorticity discretization did not propagate to the interior, but for the usual cavity flow all the schemes tested had error close to second order. The present paper reports on a modified pressure implicit predictor corrector type scheme for solving the flow governing equations, in which a consistent formulation is combined with a multi-grid solver for the pressure correction. In addition a parabolic sublayer (PSL) approach for the treatment of the flow in the vicinity of solid walls is critically evaluated in terms of accuracy and computational efficiency. The lid-driven cavity flow is chosen as the test case and results are presented for Reynolds numbers ranging from 100 to 1000. Predictions with the proposed scheme indicate substantial computational savings and fairly good agreement when compared with previous work. The PSL approach reduces the computing time, but with increasing Reynolds numbers the accuracy of the solutions tends to deteriorate.  相似文献

Two new unexpected photochromic compounds were obtained from naphtho[2,1-b]pyran-1-one 1. The reaction of this ketone with the silyl enol ether methyl trimethylsilyl dimethylketene acetal, catalyzed by TiCl4, afforded the photochromic dihydronaphtho[2,1-b]pyranone 2. The Reformatsky reaction of ketone 1 with ethyl bromoacetate led to the formation of the expected alcohol that under acid treatment gave, unexpectedly, the novel photochromic benzocoumarin 6. UV irradiation compounds 2 and 6 in solution provided thermally stable photoproducts that returned to the initial uncoloured forms under visible irradiation. The photochromic behaviour of these compounds and the structures of the photoproducts formed in these reactions were characterized by 1D and 2D NMR.  相似文献

The vapour pressures of six para-substituted benzoic acids were measured using the Knudsen effusion method within the pressure range (0.1–1 Pa) in the following temperature intervals: 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (365.09–387.28) K; 4-cyanobenzoic acid (355.14–373.28) K; 4-(methylamino)benzoic acid (359.12–381.29) K; 4-(dimethylamino)benzoic acid (369.29–391.01) K; 4-(acetylamino)benzoic acid (423.10–443.12) K; 4-acetoxybenzoic acid (351.28–373.27) K. From the temperature dependence of the vapour pressure, the standard molar enthalpy, entropy and Gibbs energy of sublimation, at the temperature 298.15 K, were derived for each of the studied compounds using estimated values of the heat capacity differences between the gaseous and the crystalline phases. Equations for estimating the vapour pressure of para substituted benzoic acids at the temperature of 298.15 K are proposed.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to evaluate antiproliferative activity, antioxidant capacity and tannin content in plants from semi-arid northeastern Brazil (Caatinga). For this study, we selected 14 species and we assayed the methanol extracts for antiproliferative activity against the HEp-2 (laryngeal cancer) and NCI-H292 (lung cancer) cell lines using the (3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazole) (MTT) method. In addition, the antioxidant activity was evaluated with the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) assay, and the tannin content was determined by the radial diffusion method. Plants with better antioxidant activity (expressed in a dose able to decrease the initial DPPH concentration by 50%, or IC50) and with higher levels of tannins were: Poincianella pyramidalis (42.95±1.77 μg/mL IC50 and 8.17±0.64 tannin content), Jatropha mollissima (54.09±4.36μg/mL IC50 and 2.35±0.08 tannin content) and Anadenanthera colubrina (73.24±1.47 μg/mL IC50 and 4.41±0.47 tannin content). Plants with enhanced antiproliferative activity (% living cells) were Annona muricata (24.94±0.74 in NCI-H292), Lantana camara (25.8±0.19 in NCI-H292), Handroanthus impetiginosus (41.8±0.47 in NCI-H292) and Mentzelia aspera (45.61±1.94 in HEp-2). For species with better antioxidant and antiproliferative activities, we suggest future in vitro and in vivo comparative studies with other pharmacological models, and to start a process of purification and identification of the possible molecule(s) responsible for the observed pharmacological activity. We believe that the flora of Brazilian semi-arid areas can be a valuable source of plants rich in tannins, cytotoxic compounds and antioxidant agents.  相似文献
