Two different gauge potential methods are engaged to calculate explicitly the spin Hall conductivity in graphene. The graphene Hamiltonian with spin-orbit interaction is expressed in terms of kinematic momenta by introducing a gauge potential. A formulation of the spin Hall conductivity is established by requiring that the time evolution of this kinematic momentum vector vanishes. We then calculated the conductivity employing the Berry gauge fields. We show that both of the gauge fields can be deduced from the pure gauge field arising from the Foldy-Wouthuysen transformations. 相似文献

Highly sensitive spectrofluorimetric method was developed and validated for the determination of gabapentin in pure and pharmaceutical preparations. The method was based on nucleophilic substitution reaction of gabapentin with 4‐fluoro‐7‐nitrobenzofurazan (NBD‐F) in an alkaline medium (pH 9.5) to form a highly fluorescent derivative that was measured at 521 nm after excitation at 458 nm. The factors affecting the reaction was carefully studied and optimized. The method was successfully validated for linearity, limit of detection, limit of quantification, accuracy, precision, robustness and specificity. Under the optimized conditions, linear relationship with good correlation coefficient (0.9998) was found between the relative fluorescence intensity and gabapentin concentration in the range of 10–100 ng·mL?1. The limit of detection and limit of quantification were 0.43 and 1.30 ng·mL?1, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of gabapentin in its pharmaceutical capsules. The results obtained by the proposed method were comparable with those obtained by the official method. Statistical comparison by t‐ and F‐ tests revealed that there was no significant difference between the results of the two methods with respect to mean values and standard deviations at the 95% confidence level. 相似文献

Research and theory suggest several instructional practices that could enhance student self‐efficacy. However, little is known about the ways these instructional practices interact with individual students to create opportunities or challenges for developing adaptive self‐efficacy. In this study, we focused on two sources of efficacy, mastery experiences, and social persuasion, and examined how these sources were structured for three students with different levels of mathematics achievement and self‐efficacy within a sixth‐grade mathematics classroom. Analyses within each case showed that each student experienced success and received social persuasion differently. On the other hand, analyses across the cases suggest that not only the amount but also the form (i.e., with and without assistance) of successful experiences and the type of performances (e.g., stating definitions, explaining solution procedures, sharing problem‐solving strategies, and making comments on others' ideas) through which the student experienced mastery may have played important role in developing self‐efficacy. Consistently, the amount and form of teacher feedback was different for each focal student. Examining these differences provide insight into each student's self‐efficacy assessed over the course of the study as well as the kind of support each student needed to develop adaptive self‐efficacy. 相似文献

The geometric process is considered when the distribution of the first interarrival time is assumed to be exponential. An analytical expression for the one dimensional probability distribution of this process is obtained as a solution to a system of recursive differential equations. A power series expansion is derived for the geometric renewal function by using an integral equation and evaluated in a computational perspective. Based on the data available through published trial results, we build a mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) model in order to find an optimal treatment plan for a given HR+ early stage breast cancer patient who is postmenopausal. The objective is to maximize the disease-free survival percentage at the end of the treatment period subject to the constraints on the risk of contralateral breast cancer and the risks of several side effects, including endometrial cancer, thromboembolic events, cardiovascular diseases, bone fractures, hot flushes, and vaginal bleeding. The results of numerical experiments suggest the effectiveness of some of the schedules currently used in practice, as well as suggest some attractive alternative treatment plans. 相似文献

In this study, sodium humate/poly(acrylamide‐co‐methacrylic acid)/kaolin semi‐interpenetrating polymer network hybrid hydrogel was synthesized as an effective adsorbent for the removal of methylene blue. The morphological and structural properties, and swelling behavior in distilled water and various environments of hybrid hydrogel were investigated with different analyses and tests. The equilibrium swelling percent of hybrid hydrogel reached to 37,000% in 240 min. The parameters (agitation time, concentration, dose, temperature, and pH) affecting adsorption process for methylene blue were optimized using Taguchi method. The data obtained in optimum conditions were well fitted to Langmuir adsorption isotherm and maximum adsorption capacity was determined as 833. 33 mg/g. In the light of the results, the utilization of hybrid hydrogel with high swelling capacity is foreseen as a favored adsorbent in several separation processes. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Purification and characterization of organic solvent stable serine alkaline protease from newly isolated Bacillus circulans M34

A protease from newly isolated Bacillus circulans M34 was purified by Q‐Sepharose anion exchange chromatography and Sepharose–bacitracin affinity chromatography followed by (NH4)2SO4 precipitation. The molecular mass of the purified enzyme was determined using SDS–PAGE. The optimum pH and temperature for protease activity were 11 and 50°C, respectively. The effect of various metal ions on protease activity was investigated. Alkaline protease from Bacillus circulans M34 wase activated by Zn2+, Cu2+ and Co2+ up to 31%. The purified protease was found to be stable in the organic solvents, surfactants and oxidizing agent. The substrate specificity of purified protease was investigated towards different substrates. The protease was almost completely inhibited by the serine protease inhibitor phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride. The kinetic parameters of the purified protease, maximum rate (Vmax) and Michaelis constant (Km), were determined using a Lineweaver–Burk plot. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Soybean oil, sesame oil, linoleic acid and linolenic acid were epoxidized, peroxidized and hydroperoxidized via autooxidation under air oxygen and sunlight at room temperature to obtain novel post-it materials. Polymeric soybean oil peroxide and sesame oil peroxide were containing soluble part of 60%(w/w) together with crosslinked part of 40%(w/w) while polymeric linoleic and polymeric linolenic acids were completely soluble. The autooxidized soluble products with Mn varying between 800 and 3100 Daltons were used as post-it adhesive. The highest adhesion was observed in the case of polymeric soybean oil (3.0 Newton), while adhesion of commercial epoxidized soybean oil, polymeric linoleic and polymeric linolenic acid were 0.8, 0.5 and 0.5 Newton, respectively. Reactions of the autooxidized soluble products with Fe(NO3)3. 4H2O in the presence of ethanol, glycerol and diethyleneglycol gave the hydroxy functionalized products with the same Mn values and indicating no adhesive properties. When the commercial epoxidized soybean oil was reacted with Fe(NO3)3. 4H2O in the presence of the alcohols, Mn of the hydroxy functionalized polymeric oil was found to be unchanged. 1H NMR, FT-IR, SEM and GPC techniques were used in the characterization of the products obtained. 相似文献

In this study, poly (vinyl chloride)(PVC) membrane electrodes with/without multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) based on a calix[4]arene derivative for perchlorate ion were described. The influence of membrane composition, pH, conditioning solution on the potentiometric response of the electrodes was investigated. Perchlorate-selective PVC membrane electrode exhibited a slope of 47.8 ± 0.6 mV/pClO4 in the range of 1.0 × 10?7–1.0 × 10?1 mol L?1at pH 4.0 while the coated Pt electrodes with MWCNT-OH, MWCNT-COOH and MWCNT displayed slopes of 46.1 ± 0.7 mV/pClO4 (5.0 × 10?6–1.0 × 10?1 mol L?1), 50.4 ± 1.9 mV/pClO4 (1.0 × 10?6–1.0 × 10?1 mol L?1) and 44.4 ± 0.3 mV/pClO4 (1.0 × 10?5–1.0 × 10?1 mol L?1), respectively. Other response characteristics of these electrodes such as response time, lifetime and detection limit were identified, and the selectivity coefficients towards various anions were calculated by separate solution method. Moreover, the perchlorate-selective electrodes described here were successfully used as an indicator electrode for the determination of perchlorate in real samples such as tap water, river water and human urine by direct calibration method. 相似文献

The need for routine and immediate healthcare monitoring has inspired “near-patient testing” or in other words “point-of-care testing (POCT)”. Therefore, POCT can be defined as laboratory tests that are performed at the patient's bedside or in the immediate vicinity of the incident. Among many POCTs, nucleic acid-based testing has attracted enormous attention for the diagnosis of important genetic, inherited and infectious diseases such as cancer and coronavirus. In this review, we outline the integration of nucleic acids into the remarkable electrochemical point-of-care diagnostics including microfluidic, paper and smartphone-based approaches, CRISPR/Cas and liquid biopsy related systems and DNA damage monitoring. 相似文献
