Measurements have been made to determine the mass attenuation coefficients of undoped n-type InSe, and Gd, Ho, Er doped n-InSe single crystals using a Si(Li) detector in the energy region 15.746–40.930 keV X-ray energies with energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence systems. InSe, InSe:Gd, InSe:Ho and InSe:Er single crystals were grown by using the stockbarger method. The measured values are graphically compared with the theoretical ones obtained using WinXcom. 相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of a mixture of V2O5, VCl3, 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid and diluted H2SO4 for 68 h at 180°C gives a blue colored solution which yields prismatic blue crystals of IV 2 IV O2(SO4)2(H2O)6] (1) in 32% yield (based on V). Complex 1 was investigated by means of elemental analysis (C, H and S), TGA, FT-IR, manganometric titration, Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction Methods and also comparative antimicrobial activities. Crystal data for the compound: monoclinic space group P21/c and unit cell parameters are a = 7.3850(12) Å, b = 7.3990(7) Å, c = 12.229(2) Å, β = 108.976(12)° and Z = 2. Although structure of 1 as a natural mineral has been previously determined, this work covers new preparation method and full characterization of 1 along with comparison of antibacterial activity between 1 and the commercial vanadium(IV) oxide sulfate hydrate compounds, VOSO4 · xH2O (Riedel-de Haën and Alfa Aesar brand names). 1 was evaluated for the antimicrobial activity against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and mould compared with the commercial VOSO4 · xH2O compounds. 1 showed weak activity against bacteria Bacillus cereus, Nocardia asteroides and yeast Candida albicans. A good antimicrobial activity was recorded against Cirtobacter freundii (15 mm). There are only a few reproducible well-defined vanadium(IV) starting materials to use for exploring the synthesis of new materials. VCl4, VO(acac)2, VOSO4 · xH2O and [V(IV)OSO4(H2O)4] · SO4 · [H2N(C2H4)2NH2] are common starting materials for such applications. A simple extraction and determination method for folic acid (FA) in lentil samples was developed employing capillary electrophoresis. The analysis was performed in a 75 μm ID fused silica capillary using a running buffer of 10 mM sodium borate (10%, v/v, methanol, pH 9) at +18 kV and a detection wavelength at 200 nm. Methylparaben was used as the internal standard. FA signal response was linear in the range between 1.2 × 10?5 and 4.8 × 10?5 M. Limit of detection (inter-day) was determined at 6.12 × 10?7 M (3.3 σs?1). The amount of FA found in green, red and mignon lentils was found to range between 0.408 and 0.742 mg g?1. 相似文献

The adsorption of isoniazid (INH) on sepiolite, loughlinite (natural Na-sepiolite) and palygorskite from Anatolia was investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy. Experimental results indicated that INH molecules, adsorbed on sepiolite–palygorskite group of clays, are coordinated to surface hydroxyls by H-bonding interaction through the pyridine ring nitrogen lone pairs. Moreover, some of the adsorbed INH molecules may enter the interior channels of the sepiolite–palygorskite structure and involve H-bonding interaction with zeolitic water. Some intensity and frequency changes in the OH stretching band of surface hydroxyls (Si–OH) of the INH-treated sepiolite and loughlinite were observed. However, this band is found to be less affected by the adsorption of isoniazid in the case of palygorskite, probably because the surface Si–OH groups in palygorskite appear to be less abundant than in sepiolite or loughlinite. 相似文献

Olive cake as low-cost abundantly available sorbent has been characterized by N2 at 77 K adsorption, porosity analysis, elemental analysis and IR spectra and has been used for preconcentrating of uranium(VI)
and thorium(IV) ions prior to their determination spectrophotometrically. The optimum pH values for quantitative sorption
of U(VI) and Th(IV) are 4–7 and 3–7, respectively. The enrichment factor for the preconcentration of U(VI) and Th(IV) were
found to be 125 and 75 in the given order. The sorption capacity of olive cake is in the range of 2,260–15,000 μg g−1 for Th(IV) and in the range of 1,090–17,000 μg g−1 for U(VI) at pH 3–7. The sorbent exhibits good reusability and the uptake and stripping of the studied ions were fairly rapid.
The elution of U(VI) and Th(IV) was performed with 0.3–1 M HCl/1–2 M HNO3 and 0.3–0.8 M HCl/1 M HNO3, respectively. The precision of the method was 1.8 RSD% for U(VI) and 2.5 RSD% for Th(IV) in a concentration of 1.00 μg mL−1 for 10 replicate analysis. The influence of some electrolytes and cations as interferents was discussed. Separation of U(VI)

Concentration of (222)Rn was determined in selected natural spring and tap water samples collected during spring and summer seasons from Kastamonu, Turkey. The aim of this work was to produce a map of the radon concentrations in water sources of the province and to determine any potential radiological risk for the local population. Radon measurements were performed by an AlphaGUARD radon gas analyser. The average radon concentrations were found to vary from 0.39±0.02 to 12.73±0.39?Bq?l(-1) for natural springs and from 0.36±0.04 to 9.29±0.45?Bq?l(-1) for tap water in spring, from 0.50±0.09 to 19.21±1.00?Bq?l(-1) for natural springs and from 0.31±0.03 to 13.14±0.38?Bq?l(-1) for tap water in summer. Furthermore, the results are compared with international recommendations and concentrations reported for other countries. Doses resulting from the consumption of these waters were calculated. The effective dose equivalents due to the intake of the (222)Rn present in these waters are expected to range from 0.93 to 32.54?μSv?y(-1) in summer and from 0.80 to 49.09?μSv?y(-1) in spring. 相似文献

In the present paper we introduce a new concept of $A$ -distributional convergence in an arbitrary Hausdorff topological space which is equivalent to $A$ -statistical convergence for a degenerate distribution function. We investigate $A$ -distributional convergence as a summability method in an arbitrary Hausdorff topological space. A simple synthetic method for the preparation of enantiomerically pure (S)-4-aminoquinazoline alcohols from (S)-quinazolinone alcohols by key steps including chlorination, nucleophilic ipso substitution, and deacetylation is presented. Mutagenic and antimutagenic properties of the (S)-4-aminoquinazoline alcohols were investigated by using Salmonella typhimurium TA1535, and Escherichia coli WP2uvrA tester strains at 0.01, 0.1, and 1 μg/plate concentrations. (S)-4-aminoquinazoline alcohols were found to be genotoxically safe at the tested concentrations. Among the tested (S)-4-aminoquinazoline alcohols, the best antimutagenic activity was obtained with a methyl derivative at 0.1 μg/plate dose. 相似文献
