In this paper we consider discrete-time positive switched systems, switching among autonomous subsystems, characterized either by monomial matrices or by circulant matrices. Necessary and sufficient conditions are provided guaranteeing either (global uniform) asymptotic stability or stabilizability (i.e. the possibility of driving to zero the state trajectory corresponding to any initial state by resorting to some switching sequence). Such conditions lead to simple algorithms that allow to easily detect, under suitable conditions, whether a given positive switched system is not stabilizable.  相似文献

In this Paper, we illustrate a method (called the ECO method) for enumerating some classes of combinatorial objects. The basic idea of this method is the following: by means of an operator that performs a "local expansion" on the objects, we give some recursive constructions of these classes. We use these constructions to deduce some new funtional equations verified by classes' generating functions. By solving the functional equations, we enumerate the combinatorial objects according to various parameters. We show some applications of the method referring to some classical combinatorial objects, such as: trees, paths, polyminoes and permutations  相似文献

We consider non‐convective type non‐linearity, that is we suppose that a(t,0,y) ≠ 0. Let the initial data , are sufficiently small and have a non‐zero total mass , where is the weighted Sobolev space. We completely characterize the boundedness on Wiener amalgam spaces of the short-time Fourier transform (STFT), and on both L p and Wiener amalgam spaces of a special class of pseudodifferential operators, called localization operators. Precisely, sufficient conditions for the STFT to be bounded on the Wiener amalgam spaces W(L p , L q ) are given and their sharpness is shown. Localization operators are treated similarly: using different techniques from those employed in the literature, we relax the known sufficient boundedness conditions for these operators to be bounded on L p spaces and prove the optimality of our results. Next, we exhibit sufficient and necessary conditions for such operators to be bounded on Wiener amalgam spaces.  相似文献

We use the method of Alexandroff-Serrin to establish the spherical symmetry of the ground domain and of the weak solution to a free boundary problem for a class of quasi-linear parabolic equations in an unbounded cylinder , where , with a simply connected bounded domain. The equations considered are of the type , with modeled on . We consider a solution satisfying the boundary conditions: for , and , as . We show that the overdetermined co-normal condition for , with 0$"> for at least one value , forces the spherical symmetry of the ground domain and of the solution.

We study a stochastic optimal control problem for a partially observed diffusion. By using the control randomization method in Bandini et al. (2018), we prove a corresponding randomized dynamic programming principle (DPP) for the value function, which is obtained from a flow property of an associated filter process. This DPP is the key step towards our main result: a characterization of the value function of the partial observation control problem as the unique viscosity solution to the corresponding dynamic programming Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman (HJB) equation. The latter is formulated as a new, fully non linear partial differential equation on the Wasserstein space of probability measures. An important feature of our approach is that it does not require any non-degeneracy condition on the diffusion coefficient, and no condition is imposed to guarantee existence of a density for the filter process solution to the controlled Zakai equation. Finally, we give an explicit solution to our HJB equation in the case of a partially observed non Gaussian linear–quadratic model.  相似文献
