8毫米相对论orotron的实验研究

文章简述了强相对论毫米波器件的研究动态和相对论orotron(奥罗管)的基本原理，并给出了8毫米相对论orotron的初步实验结果。理论计算与冷测、热测得到的工作波长符合良好，输出功率与脉冲磁场和脉冲电压的关系与预期的一致，所得到的E131模的输出功率为10千瓦量级。同时也讨论了进一步提高功率的努力方向。     

Constructions of optimal difference systems of sets

Difference systems of sets (DSSs) are combinatorial configurations which were introduced in 1971 by Levenstein for the construction of codes for synchronization. In this paper, we present two kinds of constructions of difference systems of sets by using disjoint difference families and a special type of difference sets, respectively. As a consequence, new infinite classes of optimal DSSs are obtained.

Theoretical study of the electronic ground states and low-lying singlet excited states of thiophene-based spirofluorenes

The electronic structures and optical properties of oligothiophene substituted spirofluorenes are investigated theoretically with semi-empirical quantum chemical calculations. A theoretical investigation of the interaction between two perpendicular π-systems of various oligothiophene substituted spirofluorenes is conducted. Microstructure and magnetic properties of CoFe_2O_4 thin films deposited on Si substrates with an Fe_3O_4 under-layer

The microstructure and magnetic properties of cobalt ferrite thin films deposited by the sputtering method on an Fe3O4 under-layer were investigated at different post-annealing temperatures.Results show that the Fe3O4 under-layer can accelerate the grain growth of cobalt ferrite films due to the phase transformation of the Fe3O4 under-layer at about 400°C-500°C.By introducing the Fe3O4 under-layer,cobalt ferrite nanocrystalline thin films with high coercivity can be obtained at lower post-annealing temperat...     

Growth and magnetic properties of single crystalline Ni nanowire arrays prepared by pulse DC electrodeposition

Multiparty-controlled teleportation of an arbitrary GHZ-class state by using a d-dimensional (N+2)-particle nonmaximally entangled state as the quantum channel

We present a scheme for multiparty-controlled teleportation of an arbitrary high-dimensional GHZ-class state with a d-dimensional (N+2)-particle GHZ state following some ideas from the teleportation (Chinese Physics B, 2007, 16: 2867). This scheme has the advantage of transmitting much fewer particles for controlled teleportation of an arbitrary multiparticle GHZ-class state. Moreover,we discuss the application of this scheme by using a nonmaximally entangled state as its quantum channel.     

Efficient preparation of a four-photon cluster state with homodyne measurement via cross-Kerr nonlinearity

A scheme is proposed for generating a multiphoton entangled cluster state among four modes. The scheme only uses Kerr medium, beam splitter and homodyne measurements on coherent light fields, which can be efficiently made in quantum optical laboratories. The photon in the signal mode is prepared in a superposition state of the vacuum state and one-photon state while the probe beam is initially set in a coherent state superposition. Signaling-based path-segment protection in mesh optical networks

Path protections have become increasingly important for current mesh optical networks because fast restorations in generalized multiprotocol label switching(GMPLS) networks are uncertain.However,setting up additional disjoint paths to protect connections leads to more path setup blocking and signaling collisions.We analyze signaling collisions,path blocking and blocking probability,as well as calculate node-to-node blocking probabilities.A signaling-based path-segment protection(PSP) is proposed,which integrates segment protections and path protections as well as enhances the performance of path protections and ring protections.The setup of PSP connections causes less blocking probability than the setup of path protection connections in the simulations.     

Transmission-mode GaN photocathode based on graded Al_xGa_(1-x)N buffer layer

We create a GaN photocathode based on graded Alx Ga1-x N buffer layers to overcome the influence of buffer-emission layer interface on the photoemission of transmission-mode GaN photocathodes.A gateshaped spectral response with a 260-nm starting wavelength and a 375-nm cut-off wavelength is obtained.Average quantum efficiency is 15% and short wavelength responses are almost equivalent to long wavelength ones.The fitted interface recombination velocity is 5×104 cm/s,with negligible magnitude,proving that the design of the graded buffer layers is efficient in obtaining good interface quality between the buffer and the emission layer.
