A rapid spectrophotometric method has been developed for the stepwise determination for mercury, cadmium, and zinc in mixtures. Optimal conditions have been established for the extraction efficiency of cadmium and mercury with a chloroform solution of tribenzylamine pre-equilibrated with hydrobromic acid. After addition of dithizone solution to the organic layers the absorbance at 490 nm or 510 nm is measured for mercury or cadmium, respectively. Even when the ratio of mercury, cadmium, and zinc is 10-1 : 1 : 10-5 , the metals can be determined successively.  相似文献

Aerosil is silica having a purity which is very high compared with that of silica gel and having, unlike silica gel, no micropores. To investigate the effects of impurities and micropores on the radiation-induced polymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate adsorbed on silica gel, the radiation-induced polymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate adsorbed on Aerosil was carried out. The results of both the styrene–Aerosil 300 system and the methyl methacrylate–Aerosil 300 system were similar to those of the styrene–silica gel and methyl methacrylate–silica gel systems, respectively. This suggests that in the radiation-induced polymerization of both styrene–silica gel and methyl methacrylate–silica gel systems the impurity and the presence of micropores have almost no effects on the reaction mechanism. The effect of aluminum as an impurity was investigated on the styrene–Aerosil MOX 170 system. It was found that aluminum accelerated the cationic polymerization.  相似文献

A kinetic investigation of the alternating copolymerization of butadiene and methyl methacrylate with the use of a system of ethylaluminum dichloride and vanadyl chloride as a catalyst was undertaken. The relation between the polymer yield and the molar fraction of methyl methacrylate in the feed was examined by continuous variation of butadiene and methyl methacrylate, the concentrations of total monomer, ethylaluminum dichloride, and vanadyl chloride being kept constant. This continuous variation method revealed that the polymer yield attains its maximum value with a monomer feed containing less than the 0.5 molar fraction of methyl methacrylate. This value of the molar fraction of methyl methacrylate affording the maximum polymer yield decreased on increasing the total monomer concentration but was not changed on varying the concentration of ethylaluminum dichloride. The number of active species estimated from the relation between yield and molecular weight of the polymer was almost constant, regardless of the molar fraction of methyl methacrylate in the feed. Consequently, it can be said that the maximum polymer yield depends mainly on the propagation reaction, not on the initiation reaction or the termination reaction. Three types of the mechanism have been discussed for this alternating copolymerization: polymerization via alternating addition of butadiene and methyl methacrylate complexed with ethylaluminum dichloride by the Lewis-Mayo scheme; polymerization via the ternary intermediate of butadiene, methyl methacrylate, and ethylaluminum dichloride; polymerization via the complex formation of butadiene and methyl methacrylate complexed with ethylaluminum dichloride occurring only at the growing polymer radical. From the kinetic results obtained, it was shown that the first and third schemes are excluded, and polymerization by way of the ternary intermediate is compatible with the data.  相似文献

An investigation by 220-MHz NMR spectroscopy was carried out on the alternating copolymers of acrylic monomer with 2-substituted 1,3-diolefin. The chain structures were determined. The acrylic monomers used were methyl methacrylate (MMA), acrylonitrile (AN), and methacrylonitrile (MAN); isoprene (IP) and chloroprene (CLP) were the 1,3-diolefins. In the MAN–IP alternating copolymer, the 1-position methylene protons of IP showed an AB quartet peak, confirming the α-1 linkage structure. Similarly, in the MMA–CLP and AN–CLP copolymers, the 1-position methylene protons of CLP showed and AB quartet and an ABX pattern, respectively, confirming the α-1 linkage structure in both these cases also. The α-1 linkage structure was also revealed by the decoupling technique in the MAN–CLP alternating copolymer. The AN–IP and MMA–IP alternating copolymers also possess a bond between the α-position of the acrylic monomer and the 1-position of IP. The monomeric units in the alternating copolymers of acrylic monomers with 2-substituted 1,3-diolefins were generally linked at the α-position of acrylic monomer and the 1-position of 1,3-diolefin. On the other hand, in the Diels-Alder adducts of acrylic monomer with 2-substituted 1,3-diolefin, the reaction takes place between the α-position of acrylic monomer and the 4-position of 1,3-diolefin. The regioselectivity of the alternating copolymers and the Diels-Alder adducts is quite compatible with the expectations from molecular orbital theory.  相似文献

The grafting of vinyl monomers by tri-n-butylborane to blood has been investigated. The infrared spectra indicated that the monomers were grafted onto blood components. The grafting seems to occur onto blood proteins, mainly onto hemoglobin. The presence of water was essential to the grafting. The hydrolysis of the graft suggests that basic amino acids in the blood proteins, such as lysine and histidine, play an important role in the grafting.  相似文献

 For a sodium salt of α-sulfonatomyristic acid methyl ester (14SFNa), one of the α-SFMe series surfactants, critical micellization concentration (CMC), solubility and degree of counterion binding (β) were determined by means of electrocon-ductivity measurements at different temperatures (at every 5 °C) ranging from 15 to 50 °C. The phase diagram of 14SFNa in pure water was constructed from the CMC- and solubility-temperature data, in which the Krafft temperature (critical solution temperature) was found around 0 °C. The changes in the Gibbs energy, ΔG 0 m, enthalpy, ΔH 0 m, and entropy, ΔS 0 m, upon micelle formation as a function of temperature were evaluated taking βvalues into calculation. High resolution laser spectroscopy has been applied to study the hyperfine structure of excited energy levels of Thulium I. As part of our aim to complete the fine and hyperfine structure of the Tm I spectra 51 transitions in the visible were measured and precise values for the magnetic dipole hyperfine structure constants A of 24 odd and 19 even levels were determined. In addition, a new energy level of even parity with J = 3/2 is found at 27 509.40 (5)cm?1 using laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy.  相似文献

In order to clarify the mechanism of action for the antioxidative activity of fluvastatin sodium (FLV, (+/-)-sodium (3RS, 5RS, 6E)-7-[3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-(1-methylethyl)-1H-indol-2-yl]-3, 5-dihydroxy-6-heptanoate) and its derivatives, reaction of the corresponding methyl ester of FLV with di-tert-butyl diperoxyoxalate was examined, and the corresponding keto derivative was isolated from the reaction mixture. On the basis of this result, it was concluded that the active site is the allylic carbon conjugated with the indole ring.  相似文献
