The new complex indium rhenium and scandium rhenium oxides, In6ReO12 and Sc6ReO12, have been synthesized as single phases in sealed silica tubes and by high-pressure high-temperature syntheses, and their crystal structures have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.The compounds crystallize in a rhombohedral structure related to the distorted fluorite structure like Ln6ReO12 for some rare earth elements, S. G.: R-3, Z=3, aH= 9.248(2) Å, cH=8.720(2) Å for Sc6ReO12 and aH=9.492(1) Å, cH=8.933(1) Å for In6ReO12. A maximum in magnetization is observed for Sc6ReO12 at T(Mmax)=1.89(2) K, whereas ferromagnetic ordering is found for In6ReO12 by a pronounced increase in the temperature dependence of magnetization at TC=7.5(5) K. The magnetic moment per rhenium ion in In6ReO12 and Sc6ReO12 is 0.84(1) and 0.65(1) μB, respectively, derived from the paramagnetic regions. 相似文献

Mixed chromium-rhenium oxides, CrxRe1−xO2 with 0.31?x?0.66, have been synthesized for the first time by high-pressure high-temperature synthesis and in evacuated quartz tubes. The crystal structures of the compounds have been determined by single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction. Depending on synthesis conditions (pressure and temperature) these phases crystallize either in a tetragonal structure (P42/mnm) with statistical distribution of metal ions on one site (rutile-type), with cation ordering along c-axis (trirutile-type), or in a monoclinic rutile-like structure (C2/m) with ordering of Cr- and Re-cations and metallic Re-Re bonds. The “a” parameter of the tetragonal unit cell increases with increasing Re content whereas the “c” parameter decreases, indicating a strengthening of the Re-Re bond. The thermal stability of tetragonal CrxRe1−xO2 in Ar-atmosphere depends on the Re-content, decomposition is observed at 1241 K for x=0.34, but already at 966 K for x=0.5. The thermal expansion of CrxRe1−xO2 is anisotropic with a larger expansion coefficient in the “c” direction. Tetragonal CrxRe1−xO2 with 0.31?x<0.54 order antiferromagnetically at low temperatures with TN depending on the Cr-content x. 相似文献

There is evidence indicating that the cellular locus of PDT action by amphiphilic sensitizers are the cellular membranes. The photosensitization process causes oxidative damage to membrane components that can result in the cell's death. However, it was not yet established whether lipid oxidation can cause free passage of molecules through the membrane and, as a result, be the primary cause of the cell's death. In this work, we studied the effect of liposomes' lipid composition on the kinetics of the leakage of three fluorescent dyes, calcein, carboxyfluorescein and DTAF, which were trapped in the intraliposomal aqueous phase, after photosensitization with the photosensitizer deuteroporphyrin. We found that as the degree of fatty acid unsaturation increased, the photosensitized passage of these molecules through the lipid bilayer increased. We also found that the rate of leakage of these molecules was affected by their size and bulkiness as well as by their net electric charge. In liposomes that are composed of a lipid mixture similar to that of natural membranes, the observed passage of molecules through the membrane is slow. Thus, the photodynamic damage to lipids does not appear to be severe enough to be an immediate, primary cause of cell death in biological photosensitization. 相似文献

Abstract— The binding of hematoporphyrin derivated (Hpd) to lipid vesicles and bacterial membranes was determined by fluorescence spectroscopy. The fluorescence measurements of Hpd in aqueous solutions showed two bands at 613 and 677 nm. In lipid environments of lecithin vesicles the fluorescence spectrum was shifted to 631 and 692 nm, respectively. Hpd was rapidly bound to the cell membrane of Staphylococcus aureus while much less binding occurred in the presence of Escherichia coli. At the same time, spheroplasts of both bacteria were shown to bind Hpd to a similar extent. These results are well correlated with the photoinactivation of the gram positive bacteria with Hpd while the gram negative cells were shown to be resistant. The pH dependence of both Hpd binding to S. aureus as well as the photodynamic inhibitory effect of the same bacteria are similar. It is concluded that the segregation of Hpd to the cell membrane is a prerequisite for its photodynamic effect. 相似文献

The local coordination of the Fe(3+)-centers in Li[Co(0.98)Fe(0.02)]O(2) cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries has been investigated by means of XRD and multi-frequency EPR spectroscopy. EPR clearly showed the Fe(3+) being in a high-spin state with S = 5/2. The set of spin-Hamiltonian parameters obtained from multi-frequency EPR experiments with Larmor frequencies ranging between 9.8 and 406 GHz was transformed into structural information by means of an expansion to standard Newton-superposition modeling, termed as Monte-Carlo Newman superposition modeling. Based on this analysis, an isovalent incorporation of the Fe(3+)-ions on the Co(3+)-sites, i.e. Fe(x)(Co), has been shown. With that respect, the positive sign of the axial second-order fine-structure interaction parameter B(0)(2) is indicative of an elongated oxygen octahedron, whereas B(0)(2) < 0 points to a compressed octahedron coordinated about the Fe(3+)-center. Furthermore, the results obtained here suggest that the oxygen octahedron about the Fe(3+)-ion is slightly distorted as compared to the CoO(6) octahedron, which in turn may impose mechanical strain to the cathode material. 相似文献

The remarkably broad homogeneity range of the NaTl-type Zintl phase in the ternary phase diagram Li-In-Ag at room temperature was determined by structure evaluation using X-ray powder diffraction. The colours of the investigated Zintl phases correlate with the valence electron concentration (VEC) as already established for the quasibinary cut Li0.5(InxAg1−x)0.5 with 0.47?x?1.00, i.e. with decreasing VECs the colour changes from grey over reddish to bright yellow. All compounds in the new quasibinary cut Lix(In0.5Ag0.5)1−x with 0.47?x?0.60 appear free from vacancies in the Li-sublattice, even for Li-deficient compositions. The partial occupation of Li-sites by excess Ag and In instead is in full agreement with the behaviour of the binary NaTl-type Zintl phases LixZn1−x and LixCd1−x (0.47?x?0.54) with a low VEC about 1.5. 相似文献

ZnO nanoflowers are synthesized by hydrothermal method. The morphology of ZnO is captured by SEM, TEM and HRTEM, which is composed of closely packed nanorods of about 100 nm in diameter and 1 μm in length. The ZFC/FC curves show superparamagnetic features. The abnormal increase in magnetization curves below 14 K comes from the isolated vacancy clusters with no interaction. The magnetic hysteresis at 300 K displays saturation state and confirms room-temperature ferromagnetism. While the magnetic hysteresis at 5 K shows nonsaturation state due to the enhanced effects of vacancy clusters. The O 1s XPS results can be fitted to three Gaussian peaks. The existence of medium-binding energy located at 531.16 eV confirms the deficiency of O ions at the surface of ZnO nanoflowers. 相似文献

We consider the following Type of problems. Calls arrive at a queue of capacity K (which is called the primary queue), and attempt to get served by a single server. If upon arrival, the queue is full and
the server is busy, the new arriving call moves into an infinite capacity orbit, from which it makes new attempts to reach
the primary queue, until it finds it non-full (or it finds the server idle). If the queue is not full upon arrival, then the
call (customer) waits in line, and will be served according to the FIFO order. If λ is the arrival rate (average number per
time unit) of calls and μ is one over the expected service time in the facility, it is well known that μ > λ is not always
sufficient for stability. The aim of this paper is to provide general conditions under which it is a sufficient condition.
In particular, (i) we derive conditions for Harris ergodicity and obtain bounds for the rate of convergence to the steady
state and large deviations results, in the case that the inter-arrival times, retrial times and service times are independent
i.i.d. sequences and the retrial times are exponentially distributed; (ii) we establish conditions for strong coupling convergence
to a stationary regime when either service times are general stationary ergodic (no independence assumption), and inter-arrival
and retrial times are i.i.d. exponentially distributed; or when inter-arrival times are general stationary ergodic, and service
and retrial times are i.i.d. exponentially distributed; (iii) we obtain conditions for the existence of uniform exponential
bounds of the queue length process under some rather broad conditions on the retrial process. We finally present conditions
for boundedness in distribution for the case of nonpatient (or non persistent) customers.

The Discriminatory Processor Sharing (DPS) model is a multi-class generalization of the egalitarian Processor Sharing model.
In the DPS model all jobs present in the system are served simultaneously at rates controlled by a vector of weights {gk > 0; k = 1,..., K }. If there are Nk jobs of class k present in the system, k = 1,..., K, each class-k job is served at rate
. The present article provides an overview of the analytical results for the DPS model. In particular, we focus on response
times and numbers of jobs in the system.
