The thermal stability of an organic zeolite material, namely 2,4,6-tris(4-bromo-3,5-difluorphenoxy)-1,3,5-triazin (Br-3,5-DFPOT), was improved by fluorination of 2,4,6-tris(4-bromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazin (BrPOT). The open pore structure (van der Waals diameter of 10.5 Å) of the modified zeolite was observed up to 110 °C in comparison to 70 °C for BrPOT. Nitrogen sorption at low temperature showed a type I isotherm and derived pore volumes thereof are in agreement with structural data. It was observed here that Br-3,5-DFPOT crystals preserving the open pore structure could only be obtained below a typical size of about 50 μm. The improved thermal stability of the fluorinated system is attributed to an enhancement of the strength of the Br3-synthon.  相似文献

The preparation of two series of [Cu(NHC)2]X complexes (NHC=N-heterocyclic carbene, X=PF6 or BF4) in high yields from readily available materials is reported. These complexes have been spectroscopically and structurally characterized. The activity of these cationic bis-NHC complexes in the hydrosilylation of ketones was examined, and both the ligand and the counterion showed a significant influence on the catalytic performance. Moreover, when compared with related [Cu(NHC)]-based systems, these cationic complexes proved to be more efficient under similar reaction conditions. The activation step of [Cu(NHC)2]X precatalysts towards hydrosilylation was investigated by means of 1H NMR spectroscopy. Notably, it was shown that one of the N,N'-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IPr) ligands in [Cu(IPr)2]BF4 is displaced by tBuO(-) in the presence of NaOtBu, producing the neutral [Cu(IPr)(OtBu)]. This copper alkoxide is known to be a direct precursor of an NHC-copper hydride, the actual active species in this transformation. Furthermore, reagent loading and counterion effects have been rationalized in light of the species formed during the reaction.  相似文献

A new iridium(III) complex showing intramolecular interligand pi-stacking has been synthesized and used to improve the stability of single-component, solid-state light-emitting electrochemical cell (LEC) devices. The pi-stacking results in the formation of a very stable supramolecularly caged complex. LECs using this complex show extraordinary stabilities (estimated lifetime of 600 h) and luminance values (average luminance of 230 cd m-2) indicating the path toward stable ionic complexes for use in LECs reaching stabilities required for practical applications.  相似文献

G-rich DNA sequences are able to fold into structures called G-quadruplexes. To obtain general trends in the influence of loop length on the structure and stability of G-quadruplex structures, we studied oligodeoxynucleotides with random bases in the loops. Sequences studied are dGGGW(i)GGGW(j)GGGW(k)GGG, with W = thymine or adenine with equal probability, and i, j, and k comprised between 1 and 4. All were studied by circular dichroism, native gel electrophoresis, UV-monitored thermal denaturation, and electrospray mass spectrometry, in the presence of 150 mM potassium, sodium, or ammonium cations. Parallel conformations are favored by sequences with short loops, but we also found that sequences with short loops form very stable multimeric quadruplexes, even at low strand concentration. Mass spectrometry reveals the formation of dimers and trimers. When the loop length increases, preferred quadruplex conformations tend to be more intramolecular and antiparallel. The nature of the cation also has an influence on the adopted structures, with K(+) inducing more parallel multimers than NH4(+) and Na(+). Structural possibilities are discussed for the new quadruplex higher-order assemblies.  相似文献

A novel dielectrophoresis switching with vertical electrodes in the sidewall of microchannels for multiplexed switching of objects has been designed, fabricated and tested. With appropriate electrode design, lateral DEP force can be generated so that one can dynamically position particulates along the width of the channel. A set of interdigitated electrodes in the sidewall of the microchannels is used for the generation of non-uniform electrical fields to generate negative DEP forces that repel beads/cells from the sidewalls. A countering DEP force is generated from another set of electrodes patterned on the opposing sidewall. These lateral negative DEP forces can be adjusted by the voltage and frequency applied. By manipulating the coupled DEP forces, the particles flowing through the microchannel can be positioned at different equilibrium points along the width direction and continue to flow into different outlet channels. Experimental results for switching biological cells and polystyrene microbeads to multiple outlets (up to 5) have been achieved. This novel particle switching technique can be integrated with other particle detection components to enable microfluidic flow cytometry systems.  相似文献

The reaction of 4'-(2-propyn-1-oxy)-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine (HC[triple bond]CCH2Oterpy) with trans-[PtI2(PR3)2] (R = Et, (n)Bu, Ph) results in the regioselective formation of the metalloditopic ligands trans-[Pt(C[triple bond]CCH2Oterpy)2(PR3)2], crystallographic data for which are presented. Each ditopic ligand reacts with FeCl(2).4H(2)O to give heterometallomacrocycles, the smallest of which is a [2 + 2] macrocycle, confirmed structurally for R = Et. The NMR spectroscopic data confirm the formation of symmetrical species, i.e. macrocyclic and not polymeric species. The distribution of products has been investigated using pulsed-field gradient spin-echo (PGSE) diffusion NMR spectroscopy, and indicates that the kinetic products from the reactions of 1, 2 or 3(L) with iron(II) are [Fe(n)L(n)](2n+) with n = 2, 3 or 4. For L = 1 and 2, these mixtures of products convert in solution to the thermodynamically favoured [Fe(2)L(2)](4+).  相似文献

A promising approach for anticancer strategies is the stabilization of telomeric DNA into a G-quadruplex structure. To explore the intrinsic stabilization of folded G-quadruplexes, we combined electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry, and molecular modeling studies to study different DNA sequences known to form quadruplexes. Two telomeric DNA sequences of different lengths and two DNA sequences derived from the NHE III1 region of the c-myc oncogene (Pu22 and Pu27) were studied. NH4+ and the ligands PIPER, TMPyP4, and the three quinacridines MMQ1, MMQ3, and BOQ1 were complexed with the DNA sequences to determine their effect on the stability of the G-quadruplexes. Our results demonstrate that G-quadruplex intramolecular folds are stabilized by NH4+ cations and the ligands listed. Furthermore, the ligands can be classified according to their ability to stabilize the quadruplexes and end stacking is shown to be the dominant mode for ligand attachment. In all cases our solvent-free experimental observations and theoretical modeling reveal structures that are highly relevant to the solution-phase structures.  相似文献
