Tricyclic CuII and NiII chelates are produced from some 2,2′-bis-(2-hydroxyaryl-azo)-biphenyls and -diphenyl sulphides. From their electron spectra it is concluded that in the Ni complexes of the azo-biphenyl dyestuffs the central atom is coordinated in a different way (probably planar) from that in the corresponding Cu complexes. On the other hand, the valences of both metals in the azo-diphenyl sulphide complexes seem to have the same steric arrangement. This arrangement is probably the same as that of the CuII ion in the azobiphenyl dyestuffs, which could be tetrahedral. 相似文献

A palladium‐cornered molecular square with four pyrene‐bis(imidazolylidene) bridging ligands is reported. This metallo‐polygon can encapsulate C60 and C70. The X‐ray diffraction structures of the empty cage as well as the cages complexed with both fullerenes are described. The fullerene encapsulation produces perturbations in the structural parameters of the metallo‐square, showing that it can adjust the shape of its cavity to the size of each fullerene. 相似文献

Equisetum myriochaetum is a semi-aquatic plant found on riverbanks that is commonly used in traditional medicine as a diuretic agent. Additionally, the genus Equisetum stands out for its content of the flavonoid kaempferol, a well-known antiproliferative agent. Therefore, in this study, E. myriochaetum ethanolic extract was tested in vitro against a cervical cancer cell line (SiHa). Additionally, the antioxidative activity was evaluated through a 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrilhidrazil (DPPH) assay. Finally, a molecular docking analysis of apigenin, kaempferol, and quercetin on the active site of β-tubulin was performed to investigate their potential mechanism of action. All fractions of E. myriochaetum ethanolic extract showed antioxidative activity. Fraction 14 displayed an antiproliferative capacity with a half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) value of 6.78 μg/mL against SiHa cells. 相似文献
