The isolation of β‐nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is of great importance since it is widely used in different scientific and technologic fields such as biofuel cells, sensor technology, and hydrogen production. In order to isolate β‐nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, first 3‐aminophenyboronic acid functionalized magnetic nanoparticles were prepared to serve as a magnetic solid support and subsequently they were used for reversible adsorption/desorption of β‐nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide in a batch fashion. The loading capacity of the 3‐aminophenyboronic acid functionalized nanoparticles for β‐nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide adsorption was 13.0 μmol/g. Adsorption kinetic and isotherm studies showed that the adsorption process followed a pseudo‐second‐order kinetic model and the experimental data can be represented using Langmuir isotherm model. The 3‐aminophenyboronic acid functionalized magnetic nanoparticles were proposed as an alternative support for the β‐nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide purification. The results elucidated the significance of magnetic separation as a fast, relatively simple, and low‐cost technique. Furthermore, the magnetic supports can be reused at least five times for purification processes. 相似文献

The purpose of this study is to describe the interfacial interactions in terms of stress distributions on short fibers in
fiber-matrix unit-cell models. The fiber and matrix are subjected to tensile loading. The study consists of three main parts.
First, fiber-matrix cell segments are modeled using a 3D finite-element analysis (FEA) with ANSYS. Three different finite-element
geometrical unit-cell models are generated in order to simulate the Cox analytical model: a fiber-matrix combination, a single
fiber, and a single matrix element. The second part contains the results of 3D FE analyses, which are applied to the Cox formulations
by using a computer program developed. In the last part, the analytical solutions for distributions of normal and shear stresses
are investigated. Cox 2D linear elasticity solutions, together with finite-element ones, are presented in detail in graphs.
The interfacial interactions between the fibers and matrix are also discussed considering the relative changes in the distributions
of normal and shear stresses.

The electrochemical investigation of the interaction between the anticancer drug mitomycin C (MC) and DNA was described using a single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT)/poly(vinylferrocenium) (PVF+) modified pencil graphite electrode (PGE). The electrochemical oxidation signals of guanine were monitored before and after the interaction between MC and DNA by using differential pulse voltammetry. The effects of DNA and MC concentration and MC interaction time were examined based on the electrode response. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used for the characterization of SWCNT/PVF+ modified and PVF+ modified PGEs. The detection limit corresponded to 625 ng/mL for MC using calf thymus double‐stranded DNA immobilized SWCNT/PVF+ modified PGE. 相似文献

We have constructed a phage-displayed library based on the human fibronectin tenth type III domain (FN3) scaffold by randomizing residues in its FG and BC loops. Screening against the SH3 domain of human c-Src yielded six different clones. Five of these contained proline-rich sequences in their FG loop that resembled class I (i.e., +xxPxxP) peptide ligands for the Src SH3 domain. The sixth clone lacked the proline-rich sequence and showed particularly high binding specificity to the Src SH3 domain among various SH3 domains tested. Competitive binding, loop replacement, and NMR perturbation experiments were conducted to analyze the recognition properties of selected binders. The strongest binder was able to pull down full-length c-Src from murine fibroblast cell extracts, further demonstrating the potential of this scaffold for use as an antibody mimetic. 相似文献

The reactions of dibenzo-diaza crown ethers (coronands) (1 and 2) with dimethylphosphite led to the formation of the mixture of meso and racemic C-bis-pivot lariat ethers (3 and 4) containing dimethoxyphosphoryl groups. We have failed to make the resolution of the mixture, nevertheless, the detailed characterization and spectral investigations of compounds 3 and 4 have been made by elemental analyses, FTIR, (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, (31)P NMR, COSY, DEPT, HETCOR and HMBC spectral data. Magnetic resonance imaging features of benign liver schwannoma in a 52-year-old woman are described. An oval shaped, 4.4×3.6×2.9-cm lesion was located in Segment 7 of the right hepatic lobe. The lesion was hypointense on T1-weighted images and mixed hypo- and hyperintense on T2-weighted images. On serial contrast-enhanced images, the lesion revealed gradually increasing centrilobular enhancement. The tumor was surgically removed thereafter. 相似文献
