The title compound, aqua­chloro{4,4′‐di­bromo‐2,2′‐[o‐phenylenebis­(nitrilo­methyl­idyne)]­diphenolato‐O,N,N′,O′}iron(III)–chloro{4,4′‐di­bromo‐2,2′‐[o‐phenyl­enebis­(nitrilomethyli‐dyne)]diphenolato‐O,N,N′,O′}iron(III)–di­methyl­form­amide (1/1/1), [FeCl(C20H12Br2N2O2)][FeCl(C20H12Br2N2O2)(H2O)]·C3H7NO, contains one independent five‐coordinate [FeCl(C20H12Br2N2O2)] monomer, one six‐coordinate [FeCl(C20H12Br2N2O2)(H2O)] monomer and a non‐coordinating di­methyl­form­amide solvent mol­ecule in the asymmetric unit. In the five‐coordinate monomer, the Fe atom shows distorted square‐pyramidal geometry, with the N and O atoms of the ligand at the base and the Cl atom at the apex of the pyramid. In the six‐coordinate monomer, the Fe atom is in a distorted octahedral geometry and coordinated by the donor atoms of the tetrafunctional ligand in the horizontal plane, and the coordination sphere is completed by the O atom of the water mol­ecule and the Cl atom at the axial positions. The title compound contains intermolecular O—H?O hydrogen bonds. Apart from these hydrogen bonds, there are also intermolecular C—H?Cl and C—H?O contacts.  相似文献

 A differential pulse voltammetric method for the determination of nitrate has been described, which is applicable to the analysis of natural water samples with nitrate levels greater than 2.8 × 10−6 M. A reduction peak for the nitrate ions at a freshly copper plated glassy carbon electrode was observed at about −0.50 V vs Ag ∣AgCl∣KClsatd electrode in a solution of 2.0 × 10−2 M Cu2+, 0.5 M H2SO4 and 1.0 × 10−3 M KCl and exploited for analytical purposes. The working linear range was established by regression analysis and found to extend from 2.8 ×10−6 M to 8.0 × 10−5 M. The proposed method was applied for the determination of nitrate in natural waters. The detection limit of the method was 2.8 × 10−6 M and the sensitivity was 0.9683 A·L/mol. The possible interferences by some ions such as phosphate, nitrite and some halides were determined and found to lead to shifts of the peak position and increasing the peak heights. Summary : An investigation was carried out into the cure kinetics of carbon nanofiber (CNF) mat-epoxy nanocomposites, composed of bisphenol-A based epoxy resin and diethylene triamine as a curing agent. It was observed that the rate of cure reaction for CNF mat-epoxy nanocomposites was higher than that for neat epoxy resin at low curing temperatures and the presence of the CNF mat produced the maximum influence at a certain curing temperature and time. At high curing temperature and long curing times, the effect of CNF mat on the cure rate was insignificant. The CNF mat-epoxy composite exhibited somewhat lower value of activation energy than that of the neat epoxy system at the beginning of the curing stage. The weight fraction of CNF mat also affected the cure reaction of epoxy nanocomposites at the same curing temperature. As the amount of CNF mat increased, the cure rate was higher at the same cure time. However, at high CNF mat loading, the cure reaction was retarded since the amount of epoxy and hardener decreased dramatically at high CNF contents together with the hindering effect of the CNF mat on the diffusion of epoxy resin and the curing agent, leading to lower crosslinking efficiency. Although the curing efficiency of epoxy nanocomposites dropped at high CNF mat content, the glass transition temperature (Tg) was still high due to the ultra-high strength of the CNF mat. The cure kinetics of CNF mat-epoxy nanocomposites was in good agreement with Kamal's model.  相似文献

The solution properties of poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS) were studied with light scattering (LS), gel permeation chromatography/light scattering (GPC/LS), and viscometry methods. PDMS samples were fractionated, and the weight‐average molecular weights, second virial coefficient, and the z‐average radius of gyration of each fraction were found according to the Zimm method with the LS technique. In this work, the molecular weight range studied was 7.5 × 104 to 8.0 × 105. Molecular weights and molecular weight distributions were determined by GPC/LS. The intrinsic viscosities of these fractions were studied in toluene at 30 °C, in methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) at 20 °C, and in bromocyclohexane (BCH) at 26 °C and 28 °C. The Mark–Houwink–Sakurada relationship showed that toluene was a good solvent, and MEK at 20 °C and BCH at 28 °C were θ solvents for PDMS. The unperturbed dimensions were calculated with LS and intrinsic viscosity data. The unperturbed dimensions, expressed in terms of the characteristic ratio, were found to be 6.66 with different extrapolation methods in toluene at 30 °C. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. In this study, new poly(acrylonitrile-co-methyl acrylate)/cellulose composite membranes were prepared firstly and then characterized. Then they were used in the removal of Fe(III) and Co(II) ions from wastewater with a stirred ultrafiltration cell. Also, alginic acid polymer was used as complexing agent to enhance the retention. In the filtration of Fe(III) and Co(II) solutions, the effects of pH, concentration of solutions, and pressure on the retention percentage were examined. Aqueous solutions of Fe(III) and Co(II) were filtrated at the stirred velocity of 400?rpm. The maximum retention percentage was found as 78.66% for Fe(III) solution at the pH of 3.3, concentration of 0.3?×?10?4 M Fe(III) solution, pressure of 40?psi by using 2.5 (w/v)% Poly(acrylonitrile-co-methyl acrylate)/cellulose composite membranes. For Co(II) solutions the maximum retention percentage was found as 77% at the pH of 6, concentration of 0.3?×?10?4 M Co(II) solution, pressure of 50?psi by using 2.5 (w/v)%Poly(acrylonitrile-co-methyl acrylate)/cellulose composite membranes.  相似文献

Two novel conjugated near-infrared (NIR) absorbing donor–acceptor type copolymers comprising benzodithiophene as the donor and [1,2,5]chalcogenazolo[3,4-f]-benzo[1,2,3]triazole derivatives as the acceptors, spaced with thiophene as the π-bridge, were designed and synthesized via Stille polycondensation reaction. The effect of acceptor strength on optoelectronic properties was targeted and investigated. Branched alkyl chains (the extended 2-octyl-1-dodecyl alkyl chain;  C8C12) were introduced to 5H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4′,5′:4,5]benzo[1,2-c][1,2,5]thiadiazole and 5H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4′,5′:4,5]benzo[1,2-c][1,2,5]selenadiazole for enhanced solubility of polymers which ease the processability hence device constructions. The strongly electron-withdrawing units lead to a substantial change in the absorption properties via promotion of the intramolecular charge transfer band alongside the π–π* transition. The resultant soluble polymers were characterized via cyclic voltammetry to determine highest occupied molecular orbital and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy levels as −5.00 and −3.92 eV for PSBT and −4.86 and −4.04 eV for PSeBT, respectively. Electronic band gaps of the copolymers were calculated as 1.08 eV for PSBT and 0.82 eV for PSeBT, respectively. NIR absorbing copolymers were used to construct electrochromic devices.  相似文献

冰片作为一种自然界广泛存在的次级代谢产物,可以通过樟脑的还原反应制备。但由于冰片极易氧化为樟脑,实验室中常使用硼氢化钠还原樟脑制备冰片的方法。该法可能生成2种冰片异构体,可以通过动力学控制获得其中一个异冰片从而使其成为不可逆反应。该有机化学实验设计在美国与欧洲国家均有涉及,但在国内教材中只是单纯设计为环己酮等单分子的还原反应,缺乏体现化学在解决实际问题中的实用性以及课堂的趣味性。该实验的引进不失为改进国内有机化学实验设计的良好素材。  相似文献
