The C18H20N2O7U · 2H2O (I) complex has been prepared and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction properties (CIF file CCDC no. 913243). The title compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbca with a = 19.542(5), b = 9.916(5), c = 21.940(5) Å, V = 4252(3) Å3 and Z = 8. In complex I, the U atom has a distorted pentagonal-bipyramidal geometry with a tetradentate Schiff base ligand and water molecule in the equatorial plane and oxo atoms in the axial positions. The crystal packing occurs intra-inter molecular hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Cationic polymers can bind DNA to form polyplexes, which are noncovalent complexes used for gene delivery into the targeted cells. For more insight on such biologically relevant systems, the noncovalent complexes between the cationic polymer poly(ethylene imine) (PEI) and the nucleotide mimicking dye Cibacron Blue F3G‐A (CB) were investigated using mass spectrometry methods. Two PEIs of low molecular weight were utilized (Mn ≈ 423 and 600 Da). The different types of CB anions produced by Na+/H+ exchanges on the three sulfonic acid groups of CB and their dehydrated counterparts were responsible for complex formation with PEI. The CB anions underwent noncovalent complex formation with protonated, but not with sodiated PEI. A higher proportion of cyclic oligomers were detected in PEI423 than PEI600, but both architectures formed association products with CB. Tandem mass spectrometry studies revealed a significantly stronger noncovalent interaction between PEI and dehydrated CB than between PEI and intact CB. A seeded polymerization method based on a new functional monomer, 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate (HPMA-Cl), was proposed for the synthesis of a new type of monodisperse porous, hydrophilic microspheres with reactive character. By applying the method, poly(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethacrylate) (poly(HPMA-Cl-co-EDMA)) microspheres in the range of 4–7 μm, with specific surface areas between 2 and 146 m2/g, were obtained. The microspheres are hydrophilic in nature due to the hydroxyl groups and are easily derivatizable due to the reactive chloropropyl moiety. Ligands in the form of small molecules carrying hydrophobic alkyl or hydrophilic ion exchanger groups were covalently attached onto the microspheres via simple and one-pot reactions via their chloropropyl functionality. Using the same functionality, click chemistry and surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization were also applied for the generation of triazole ring and zwitterionic molecular brushes on the microspheres, respectively. Poly(HPMA-Cl-co-EDMA) microspheres seem to be a promising hydrophilic reactive material particularly for the synthesis of ion exchanger resins and chromatographic stationary phases.  相似文献

In this study, a new phthalonitrile derivative 3 bearing 1,3-bis[3(dimethylamino)phenoxy]propan-2-ol 1, metal-free phthalocyanine (Pc) 4, metallophthalocyanines (MPcs) 57 and their quaternized derivatives 4a7a were synthesized. Metal-free Pc 4 was prepared by cyclotetramerization of phthalonitrile derivate 3 and MPcs 57 were synthesized by heating 3 with NiCl2, CoCl2 and CuCl2 in n-pentanol in the presence of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene, respectively. Quaternization of the dimethylamino functionality produced quaternized octacationic water soluble metal-free, Ni, Co and Cu Pcs which were soluble in water, DMF, DMSO. The aggregation behaviour of these compounds were investigated in different concentrations of chloroform for metal-free, Ni, Co and Cu Pcs. The effect of solvents on absorption spectra were studied in various organic solvents. The novel compounds were characterized using IR, 1H-, 13C NMR, UV–vis and MS spectral data.  相似文献

In this study, the performance of modified adsorbents obtained from activated carbon for the adsorption of thorium(IV) ions from aqueous media was investigated. The analytical and spectroscopic methods such as FT-IR, BET, SEM and UV–Vis were used to examine the properties of the modified materials. According to the analysis results, the both adsorbents had large surface areas after modification. Then, temperature, pH, mixing time and solution concentration parameters were observed to determine optimum thorium adsorption conditions on modified materials. The obtained results from the experiments were applied different three kinetic models and adsorption isotherms and thermodynamic parameters were calculated and then all of the results were interpreted. The adsorption process for both adsorption systems was observed to be compatible with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The adsorption equilibrium data were best described by the Langmuir model for modified adsorbent with KMnO4 and by the Freundlich model for modified adsorbent with NaOH. Furthermore, the calculated thermodynamic parameters (ΔG°, ΔH° and ΔS°) showed that the both adsorption processes were endothermic and spontaneous. The data show that modified adsorbents can be used as influential and low-cost adsorbents to remove thorium ion. Modified new adsorbents were highly selective for thorium ion in competitive adsorption studies.

Designing new inhibitors having less side effects is a need which also could reduce cholesterol levels. To fulfill this aim, we have carried out a molecular docking study toward 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl-CoA (HMG-CoA) reductase. A set of designed structural derivatives of statin drugs, eight ligands which are used as HIV-1 integrase inhibitor candidates, a set of terpenoids, and ligands downloaded from Zinc15 database were docked to HMG-CoA reductase enzyme which contains atorvastatin in crystal structure. The analysis of docking studies revealed that statin derivative ligands are more appropriate for inhibition of HMG-CoA reductase. To define the contribution of the molecular properties to the binding of ligands to enzyme structure; the highest occupied molecular orbitals-lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals, hardness, electronegativity, and chemical potential properties of ligands have best score in their sets calculated by quantum mechanical tools.  相似文献

Abstract

In this study, a novel series of benzothiazole-thiazolylhydrazine (3a–3i) was synthesized and their structures were characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR spectrometry, and mass spectroscopy. These compounds were evaluated as inhibitors of type A and type B monoamine oxidase (MAO) enzymes. The most active compound 3b (2-((2-(2-(4-(4-Nitrophenyl)thiazol-2-yl)hydrazineylidene)-2-phenylethyl)thio)benzothiazole) showed strong inhibitory activity at hMAO-A (IC50 of 0.095?±?0.004?µM). Furthermore, compound 3i (2-((2-(2-(4-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)thiazol-2-yl)hydrazineylidene)-2-phenylethyl)thio)benzothiazole) showed significant inhibition profile on hMAO-A with the IC50 values 0.141?±?0.006?µM.  相似文献

Reactions of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazatriene, N3P3Cl6 1 , with sodium aryloxides have been studied. Compound 1 was found to react by the nucleophilic substitution pathway to yield monocyclophosphazenes [N3P3Cl6(OC6H2Bu13-2,4,6) 5 and N3P3Cl4(OC6H2Me-4-Bu12-2,6)2 6 ] and bi(cyclophosphazenes) ([Cl5N3P3-P3N3Cl4(OC6H3Bu12-2,6)] 7 and [N3P3(OC6H3Bu12-2,6)5]2 8 ). The unusual bi(cyclophosphazenes) 7 and 8 are the first examples of two cyclotriphosphazene rings linked by a P(SINGLE BOND)P bond [2.193 (2) Å], which have been obtained by reacting 1 with ArONa. The structures of compounds 5–8 are ascertained by elemental analyses, 1H-, 31P-13C-NMR, IR, and MS spectra. The molecular structure of monocyclic-phosphazene 5 was determined by X-ray diffraction techniques for further structural assignment. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/m with a = 6.144(2), b = 17.079(9), c = 13.181(9) Å, β = 92.79(7), and Z = 2, R = 0.074. Compound 5 is on a crystallographic mirror plane, and there is only a half molecule in the asymmetric unit. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Pitaya is one of the most preferred and produced tropical fruit species recently introduced to the Mediterrranean region in Turkey. Due to its nutritional fruits with high economic value, the popularity of pitaya increases steadily in Turkey as an alternative crop. No detailed nutritional analysis has been undertaken in Turkey so far on fruits of the pitaya species. In this study, we determined and compared some nutritional parameters in fruit flesh of two pitaya (dragon fruit) species (Hylocereus polyrhizus: Siyam and Hylocereus undatus: Vietnam Jaina) grown in the Adana province located in the eastern Mediterranean region in Turkey. The individual sugars, antioxidant activity, total phenolic content, phenolic compounds and volatiles were determined for the first time in Turkey on two pitaya species. The results showed that total phenol content and antioxidant capacity are notably higher in red-fleshed fruits than white-fleshed ones and the predominant phenolic compound in fruits of both species was quercetin. The total sugar content and most of the phenolic compounds in fruits of two pitaya species were similar. A total of 51 volatile compounds were detected by using two Solid Phase Micro Extraction (SPME) fibers, coupled with Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) techniques, and more volatile compounds were presented in the white-fleshed species. Total phenolic content (TPC) of the red-fleshed and white-fleshed pitaya species were 16.66 and 17.11 mg GAE/100 g FW (fresh weight). This study provides a first look at the biochemical comparison of red-fleshed and white-fleshed pitaya species introduced and cultivated in Turkey. The results also showed, for the first time, the biochemical content and the potential health benefit of Hylocereus grown in different agroecological conditions, providing important information for pitaya researchers and application perspective.  相似文献

We report on the application of a simple and versatile antioxidant capacity assay for dietary polyphenols, vitamin C and vitamin E utilizing the copper(II)-neocuproine (Cu(II)-Nc) reagent as the chromogenic oxidant, which we term the CUPRAC (cupric reducing antioxidant capacity) method. It involves mixing the antioxidant solution (directly or after acid hydrolysis) with solutions of CuCl2, neocuproine, and ammonium acetate at pH 7, and measuring the absorbance at 450 nm after 30 min. Slowly reacting antioxidants required an incubation at 50 °C for 20 min for color development. The flavonoid glycosides were hydrolyzed to their corresponding aglycones by refluxing in 1.2 M HCl-containing 50% MeOH for fully exhibiting their antioxidant potencies. Certain compounds also needed incubation after acid hydrolysis for color development. The CUPRAC absorbances of mixture constituents were additive, indicating lack of chemical deviations from Beer’s law. The CUPRAC antioxidant capacities of a wide range of polyphenolics are reported in this work and compared to those found by ABTS/persulfate and Folin assays. The trolox-equivalent capacities of the antioxidants were linearly correlated (r = 0.8) to those found by ABTS but not to those of Folin. The highest antioxidant capacities in the CUPRAC method were observed for epicatechin gallate, epigallocatechin gallate, quercetin, fisetin, epigallocatechin, catechin, caffeic acid, epicatechin, gallic acid, rutin, and chlorogenic acid in this order, in accordance with theoretical expectations.
