This paper describes the development of a highly selective analytical method for the determination of deoxynivalenol (DON) in maize. The developed method is based on immuno-ultrafiltration (IUF) and is the first application of IUF as a clean-up strategy in food analysis. Quantification of DON was carried out by high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection. In contrast to immunoaffinity chromatography, in IUF the antibodies are not bound to a solid support material but used in free form, thus making it possible to avoid the critical immobilisation step. Sample clean-up by IUF proved to be as selective as clean-up using commercially available immunoaffinity columns. The limit of detection (S/N=3) of the analytical method was found to be 74 ng DON/g maize. Repeated analysis of a certified maize reference material on four different days resulted in a mean recovery of 93% with a standard deviation of 10%.  相似文献

The inclusion complexation of aromatic amines with cucurbit[6]uril (CB[6]) capped with alkali metal cations was studied spectrophotometrically. We showed that CB[6] capped with alkali metal cations forms a 1:1 inclusion complex with the aromatic amine guests (neutral organic molecules), independent of the length of guest molecules. The effects of salts on the inclusion constants of CB[6] in the presence of different alkali salts were examined and it was found that the inclusion constants increased in the order of alkali cation Cs+ < Na+ < K+, suggesting the interaction of amine guests with the capped alkali metal cation. Further, the structures of the inclusion complexation of aromatic amines with CB[6] were characterized by 1H NMR measurements. Based on the results, the inclusion abilities of CB[6] capped with alkali metal cations are discussed.  相似文献

Knowledge of an inverse fluidized-bed fluid hydrodynamics is advantageous in optimal adjustment and designing high-efficiency beds. In the present study, a combination of a single relaxation time collision operator lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) and the smoothed profile method (SPM) is employed to simulate the hydrodynamics of an inverse liquid–solid fluidized bed comprising circular monodisperse and polydisperse particles in a rectangular channel. A numerical instance of inverse fluidization involving 231 particles is illustrated to show the capability of the combined methods. Moreover, comparison of the numerical results is performed with the Ergun equation and the Richardson–Zaki correlation. The comparison demonstrates that the present model can simulate the fluid flow behavior in an inverse fluidized bed. Several different models were also presented to investigate the effect of different fluid properties and size of particles in the bed. Simulations indicate that the more the superficial liquid velocity, the higher the porosity of the bed. The present simulations show that porosity of the bed increases by increasing the particles size, and also the vertical velocity of the bed decreases with an increase in liquid viscosity. Finally, polydisperse particle systems are also simulated. The results show that porosity in an inverse fluidized bed comprising polydisperse particles is more than that of a monodisperse particle bed.  相似文献

The Fe3O4@SiO2 core‐shell nanocatalyst were prepared and efficiently used for four‐component coupling reaction of aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate and hydrazine hydrate in water/ethanol mixture. Various aromatic aldehydes possessing electron‐withdrawing and electron‐donating groups in different positions on the ring were successfully transformed to substituted pyranopyrazoles in high yields in short time. The nanocatalyst was easily recovered, and reused five times without significant loss in cata‐ lytic activity and performance. The structure, size and morphology of the nanosized catalyst were studied by various techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, powder X‐ray diffraction, dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy.  相似文献

Apolipoprotein A‐I (Apo A‐I) is a major protein in lipid/lipoprotein metabolism and decreased serum levels have been observed in many species in response to inflammatory and infectious challenges. Little is known about the porcine homologue, therefore in this work we have characterized it through biochemical and proteomic techniques. In 2DE, porcine serum Apo A‐I is found as three spots, the two more acidic ones corresponding to the mature protein, the more basic spot to the protein precursor. Despite high sequence coverage in LC‐MS/MS, we did not find a sequence or PTM difference between the two mature protein species. Besides this biochemical characterization, we measured overall levels and relative species abundance of serum Apo A‐I in four different viral and bacterial porcine infectious diseases. Lower overall amounts of Apo A‐I were observed in Salmonella typhimurium and Escherichia coli infections. In the 2DE protein pattern, an increase of the protein precursor together with a lower level of mature protein species were detected in the porcine circovirus type 2‐systemic disease and S. typhimurium infection. These results reveal that both the porcine serum Apo A‐I concentration and the species pattern are influenced by the nature of the infectious disease.  相似文献

We report a high‐repetition‐rate picosecond fiber‐based source at 2.1 µm offering exceptional performance capabilities over existing lasers near this wavelength, providing high average power and efficiency together with excellent spectral, power and beam pointing stability, in high spatial beam quality. This new source is based on a near‐degenerate MgO:PPLN optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by an Yb‐fiber laser at 1064 nm, and incorporating a diffraction grating for spectral control. The device provides as much as 7.1 W of average power at 2.1 µm for a pump power of 18 W at an extraction efficiency of 39.4% in pulses of 20 ps at 79.3 MHz. The output exhibits passive power stability better than 1% rms over 15 hours, and a beam pointing stability ∼40 µrad over 1 hour, in high spatial quality with M2 ∼ 3.5. The output beam is linearly polarized and the pulse train has an amplitude stability better than 3.4% rms over 2 µsec. Radio‐frequency measurements of the output pulse train also confirm high temporal stability and low timing jitter, indicating that the source is ideal for variety of applications including pumping long‐wavelength mid‐infrared OPOs. Photograph shows the temperature‐controlled, 50‐mm‐long MgO:PPLN crystal inside the cavity, used as nonlinear gain medium in the picosecond source operating at 2.1 µm. The visible light is the result of non‐phase‐matched second harmonic generation of the pump beam in the MgO:PPLN crystal.

Aligned polymer microstructures in the field of biomaterials, semiconductors, and ion‐conductive membranes expand steadily. Here, an alternative aligned polybenzimidazole (WM PBI) microstructures fabrication strategy based on the utilization of a weak magnetic field (0.3 T) via the solvent casting method is demonstrated. The anisotropic alignment is induced by the interaction of the π‐electron‐rich structure with the magnetic field. A ripple‐like structure was observed in the field‐emission scanning electron microscopy image for the WM PBI membrane, which depicted the successful alignment of the PBI structure toward magnetic field direction. Electrochemical studies revealed the bulk resistance of WM PBI with only 13.71 × 103 Ω compared to the unaligned PBI (WOM PBI) (63.01 × 103 Ω). WM PBI marked as the highest proton conductivity of 610.66 × 10?6 S cm?1, and it was proven that the external magnetic field does bring the impact toward the augmentation of the proton conductivity, which is useful in various future generation applications.  相似文献

Based on the process of the Fresnel diffraction, the possibility of generating a new type of laser beams family by illuminating a curved fork-shaped hologram, with an input hypergeometric-Gaussian beams family of orders n and m is studied in this paper. The theoretical and the numerical results showed that, at the output plane, a high order spiraling Bessel vortex beam is produced. This vortex beam is divergence or non-divergence depending upon the waist position of the input hypergeometric-Gaussian beams, regarding the plane where the curved fork-shaped hologram is situated. Analytical expressions of the amplitude and the intensity distribution of the diffracted wave field are calculated and deduced using the stationary phase method. The actual work generalizes also the Fresnel diffraction study of some subfamilies of the hypergeometric-Gaussian beams family, such as: fundamental Gaussian, hollow Gaussian, modified quadratic Bessel–Gaussian and elegant Laguerre–Gaussian beams.  相似文献

A three-dimensional method for the calculation of interface pressure in the computational modeling of free surfaces and interfaces is developed. The methodology is based on the calculation of the pressure force at the interfacial cell faces and is mainly designed for volume of fluid (VOF) interface capturing approach. The pressure forces at the interfacial cell faces are calculated according to the pressure imposed by each fluid on the portion of the cell face that is occupied by that fluid. Special formulations for the pressure in the interfacial cells are derived for different orientations of an interface. The present method, referred to as pressure calculation based on the interface location (PCIL), is applied to both static and dynamic cases. First, a three-dimensional motionless drop of liquid in an initially stagnant fluid with no gravity force is simulated as the static case and then two different small air bubbles in water are simulated as dynamic cases. A two-fluid, piecewise linear interface calculation VOF method is used for numerical simulation of the interfacial flow. For the static case, both the continuum surface force (CSF) and the continuum surface stress (CSS) methods are used for surface tension calculations. A wide range of Ohnesorge numbers and density and viscosity ratios of the two fluids are tested. It is shown that the presence of spurious currents (artificial velocities present in case of considerable capillary forces) is mainly due to the inaccurate calculation of pressure forces in the interfacial computational cells. The PCIL model reduces the spurious currents up to more than two orders of magnitude for the cases tested.

Also for the dynamic bubble rise case, it is shown that using the numerical solver employed here, without PCIL, the magnitude of spurious currents is so high that it is not possible to simulate this type of surface tension dominated flows, while using PCIL, we are able to simulate bubble rise and obtain results in close agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

In vitro anti-proliferative activity of Pinus palustris extract and its purified abietic acid was assessed against different human cancer cell lines (HepG-2, MCF-7 and HCT-116) compared to normal WI-38 cell line. Abietic acid showed more promising IC50 values against MCF-7 cells than pine extract (0.06 µg/mL and 0.11 µM, respectively), with insignificant cytotoxicity toward normal fibroblast WI-38 cells. Abietic acid triggered both G2/M cell arrest and subG0-G1 subpopulation in MCF-7, compared to SubG0-G1 subpopulation arrest only for the extract. It also induced overexpression of key apoptotic genes (Fas, FasL, Casp3, Casp8, Cyt-C and Bax) and downregulation of both proliferation (VEGF, IGFR1, TGF-β) and oncogenic (C-myc and NF-κB) genes. Additionally, abietic acid induced overexpression of cytochrome-C protein. Furthermore, it increased levels of total antioxidants to diminish carcinogenesis and chemotherapy resistance. P. palustris is a valuable source of active abietic acid, an antiproliferative agent to MCF-7 cells through induction of apoptosis with promising future anticancer agency in breast cancer therapy.  相似文献
