An exact charged solution with axial symmetry is obtained in the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity. The associated metric has the structure function G(ξ)=1-ξ2-2mAξ3-q2A2ξ4. The fourth order nature of the structure function can make calculations cumbersome. Using a coordinate transformation we get a tetrad whose metric has the structure function in a factorizable form (1-ξ2)(1+r+Aξ)(1+r-Aξ) with r± as the horizons of Reissner–Nordström space-time. This new form has the advantage that its roots are now trivial to write down. Then, we study the singularities of this space-time. Using another coordinate transformation, we obtain a tetrad field. Its associated metric yields the Reissner–Nordström black hole. In calculating the energy content of this tetrad field using the gravitational energy-momentum, we find that the resulting form depends on the radial coordinate! Using the regularized expression of the gravitational energy-momentum in the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity we get a consistent value for the energy. 相似文献

Small‐Angle Neutron Scattering has been performed from poly(ethylene oxide) in deuterated water at temperature ranging from 10 to 80 °C. A simple fitting model was used to obtain a correlation length and a Porod exponent. The correlation length L characterizes the average distance between entanglements in the semidilute region and is proportional to the individual coil sizes in the dilute region. L was found to increase with temperature in the semidilute region but it decreases with temperature in the dilute region. A numerical simulation and a comparative analysis of the acoustic fields produced by two-dimensional phased arrays intended for ultrasonic surgery are performed for the case of a multiple focus (in particular, 25 foci) generation. The calculations were conducted for arrays (with an operating frequency of 1.5 MHz) consisting of 256 elements 5 mm in diameter, which were positioned on the array surface both regularly and randomly. The array foci can be formed simultaneously, but, in this case, the intensity levels of the secondary peaks in the ultrasonic field can exceed the values that guarantee the safe application of this method in surgery. A much safer way is to synthesize many foci with the use of several configurations, each of which contains a smaller number of foci. The number of foci in individual configurations must be approximately the same. It is demonstrated that randomization of the element distribution over the array surface provides an opportunity to improve the array performance, to reduce the intensity levels of secondary peaks in the acoustic field, and to increase the array capability for multiple focus scanning off the array axis. 相似文献

We report on three-dimensional (3D) optical memory recording and reading in glass by femtosecond pulses. Optically induced dielectric breakdown of glass is a mechanism of recording. The formulae of dielectric breakdown presented are applicable, in principle, for any crystalline or amorphous dielectric material. Scaling dependences of the probabilities of multi-photon and impact ionization are given. The measured threshold of an in-bulk dielectric breakdown of silica was reproduced numerically by implementing the ionization potential of Si (8.15 eV) for calculations. Exact measures of focal spot size and pulse duration at the focus allowed us to evaluate the intensity of a pulse during recording of 3D optical memory bits with high accuracy. The readout of the 3D optical memory was carried out by the white-light continuum generated from the previously damaged sites (recorded memory bits).
