The identification of acid and nonacid species at the external surface of zeolites remains a major challenge, in contrast to the extensively-studied internal acid sites. Here, it is shown that the synthesis of zeolite ZSM-5 samples with distinct particle sizes, combined with solid-state NMR and computational studies of trimethylphosphine oxide (TMPO) adsorption, provides insight into the chemical species on the external surface of the zeolite crystals. 1H–31P HETCOR NMR spectra of TMPO-loaded zeolites exhibit a broad correlation peak at δP ∼35–55 ppm and δH ∼5–12 ppm assigned to external SiOH species. Pore-mouth Brønsted acid sites exhibit 31P and 1H NMR resonances and adsorption energies close to those reported for internal acid sites interacting with TMPO. The presence of an external tricoordinate Al-Lewis site interacting strongly with TMPO is suggested, resulting in 31P resonances that overlap with the peaks usually ascribed to the interaction of TMPO with Brønsted sites.  相似文献

The present work illustrated possibilities of column coupling electrophoresis combined with ionizable chiral selector and diode array detection (DAD) for the enantioselective analysis of trace drugs (pheniramine and its analogs) in pharmaceutical and clinical samples. Isotachophoresis (ITP), on-line coupled with capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE), served as an ideal injection technique (high sample load capacity, narrow and sharp drugs zones) of on-line pretreated samples (preseparation, purification and preconcentration of drugs) for the CZE stage. Enhanced (enantio)separation selectivity of CZE with ionizable chiral selector (carboxyethyl-beta-cyclodextrin recognized between drugs enantiomers on one hand as well as between drugs and sample matrix constituents on the other hand) enabled to obtain pure zones of the drugs enantiomers, suitable for their detection and quantitation. DAD in comparison with single wavelength UV detection enhanced value of analytical information verifying purity of drugs enantiomers zones (indicating interferents with different spectra to those of drugs). Obtained results indicated pure zones of interest confirming effective ITP-CZE (enantio)separation process. Distinguishing the trace analytes signals superposed on the baseline noise was provided with sufficient reliability (for this purpose the background correction and smoothing procedure had to be applied to the raw DAD spectra). The proposed ITP-CZE-DAD methods were characterized by favorable performance parameters (sensitivity, linearity, precision, recovery, accuracy, robustness, selectivity) and successfully applied for (i) enantiomeric purity testing of dexbrompheniramine in commercial pharmaceutical tablets and (ii) enantioselective metabolic study of pheniramine in human urine.  相似文献

2-Amino-1,5-anhydro-2-deoxy-D-glucitol, a highly functionalized tetrahydropyran, is a versatile building unit in many natural products. A facile route to this type of synthetic building unit from the corresponding 2-aminopyranoses, as exemplified by an application to D-glucosamine, is outlined. A simple catalytic hydrogenation at C-1 of an oxazoline constructed from the corresponding 2-aminopyranose results in the desired product.  相似文献

Single crystal neutron diffraction data have been collected on a sample of enolized 3,4-diacetyl-2,5-hexanedione (tetraacetylethane, TAE) at five temperatures between 20 and 298 K to characterize the temperature-dependent behavior of the short, strong, intramolecular hydrogen bond. Upon decreasing the temperature from 298 K to 20 K, the O2-H1 distance decreases from 1.171(11) to 1.081(2) A and the O1...H1 distance increases from 1.327(10) to 1.416(6) A. The convergence of the C-O bond lengths from inequivalent distances at low temperature to identical values (1.285(4) A) at 298 K is consistent with a resonance-assisted hydrogen bond. However, a rigid bond analysis indicates that the structure at 298 K is disordered. The disorder vanishes at lower temperatures. Short intermolecular C-H...O contacts may be responsible for the ordering at low temperature. The intramolecular O...O distance (2.432 +/- 0.006 A) does not change with temperature. X-ray data at 20 K were measured to analyze the charge density and to gain additional insight into the nature of the strong hydrogen bond. Quantum mechanical calculations demonstrate that periodic boundary conditions provide significant enhancement over gas phase models in that superior agreement with the experimental structure is achieved when applying periodicity. One-dimensional potential energy calculations followed by quantum treatment of the proton reproduce the location of the proton nearer to the O2 site reasonably well, although they overestimate the O-H distance at low temperatures. The choice of the single-point energy calculation strategy for the proton potential is justified by the fact that the proton is preferably located nearer to O2 rather than being equally distant to O1 and O2 or evenly distributed (disordered) between them.  相似文献

How quay cranes (QC) are scheduled is vital to the productivity of seaside container port operations. Double cycling concept is an operation strategy of loading the containers into ships as they are unloaded, thus improving the efficiency of a QC as well as the container port. Goodchild and Daganzo (Transp Sci 40(4):473–483, 2006) first described QC double cycling problem and solved the problem after formulating it into a two machine flow shop problem. Song (Port Technol Int 36:50–52, 2007) studied the formula to determine the optimal starting sequence for double cycling while reflecting on the practical issue of QC working direction. The above studies focused on a single QC double cycling and their empirical trials showed the double cycling could improve the productivity of each QC approximately by between 10 and 20 %. In Zhang and Kim (Comput Ind Eng 56(3):979–992, 2009), a multiple QC double cycling model was first suggested by formulating a mixed integer programming model to maximise the number of double cycles between multiple QCs. In the present paper we point out a flaw with the existing multiple QC double cycling model that lets cycles that are not implementable. In addition, the paper discusses the need for imposing constraints arising from real world requirements to the formulations aiming at double cycling.  相似文献

A novel high performance liquid chromatographic method for separation of synthetic polymers has been tested. It involves combination of the enthalpic and entropic retention mechanisms, resulting in increased selectivity of separation within a specific molar mass range. In this present case, the enthalpic retention mechanism is adsorption of macromolecules on a bare silica gel column packing. Under critical conditions of enthalpic interactions, homopolymers are known to elute irrespective of their molar mass. However, in the vicinity of critical conditions, a situation can be identified when retention volumes (V(R)) rapidly decrease with increasing molar mass. Typically, this happens for polymer species close to or above their exclusion limit observed with the same column in the absence of enthalpic interactions between macromolecules and packing, that is near "ideal SEC" conditions. The dependence of polymer retention volume on molar mass closely resembles size exclusion conditions. However, the witnessed rate of change in V(R )with polymer molar mass is more pronounced, thus indicating increased selectivity of separation. This situation not only offers the benefit of more selective separation according to molar mass but efficient discrimination of macromolecules possessing different nature and interactivity with the column packing can be accomplished as well.  相似文献

The sesquiterpene hydroquinone avarol (1) was isolated from the marine sponge Dysidea avara, whereas the corresponding quinone, avarone (2), was obtained by oxidation of avarol, and the significantly more lipophilic compounds [3'-(p-chloro-phenyl)avarone (3), 3',4'-ethylenedithioavarone (4), 4'-isopropylthioavarone (5), 4'-tert-butylthioavarone (6), 4'-propylthioavarone (7), 4'-octylthioavarone (8)] were obtained by nucleophilic addition of thiols or p-chloroaniline to avarone. All these compounds were tested, at concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 50 microg/mL, for their effect on the settlement of the cyprid stage of Balanus amphitrite, for toxicity to both nauplii and cyprids and for their growth inhibitory activity on marine bacteria (Cobetia marina, Marinobacterium stanieri, Vibrio fischeri and Pseudoalteromonas haloplanktis) and marine fungi (Halosphaeriopsis mediosetigera, Asteromyces cruciatus, Lulworthia uniseptata and Monodictys pelagica).  相似文献
