A series of Ni-doped cobalt ferrites NixCo1−xFe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0) were prepared using microwave-induced combustion. Nickel, cobalt, and ferric nitrates were
used as starting materials and glycine as fuel. The influence of Ni content on the lattice parameter, stretching vibrations,
and magnetization was studied. XRD, FTIR, and SEM were used for structure, composition, and morphology investigation. A porous
network structure was observed with average particle size 60–67 nm. All samples had a cubic spinel structure. The unit cell
parameter “a” decreases linearly with nickel concentration due to the smaller ionic radius of nickel. Magnetization measurements
showed that coercivity decreased as Ni content increased; it increased with decreasing temperature.

This paper investigates a nonlinear and non-homogeneous system of partial differential equations. The motivation comes from the fact that in a particular case the problem discussed here can be used in modeling the behavior of nonlinear Hencky-type materials. Al–1 wt% Ti alloy was directionally solidified upwards under argon atmosphere under the two conditions; with different temperature gradients (G = 2.20–5.82 K/mm) at a constant growth rate (V = 8.30 μm/s) and with different growth rates (V = 8.30–498.60 μm/s) at a constant temperature gradient (G = 5.82 K/mm) in a Bridgman furnace. The dependence of characteristic microstructure parameters such as primary dendrite arm spacing (λ1), secondary dendrite arm spacing (λ2), dendrite tip radius (R) and mushy zone depth (d) on the velocity of crystal growth and the temperature gradient were determined by using a linear regression analysis. A detailed analysis of microstructure development with models of dendritic solidification and with previous similar experimental works on dendritic growth for binary alloys were also made. 相似文献

In this study, the nine coordination polymers of Fe(III), Co(II) and Ni(II) salts have been synthesized using polyacrylamide (PAA), polt(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and their structures were characterized by magnetic and conductivity measurements, ultraviolet‐visible (UV‐VIS), FTIR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The structures of Fe(III) complexes in the all coordination polymers were found as tetrahedral. The structures of PAA‐Co(II) coordination polymer was determined as octahedral geometry whereas PEG‐Co(II) and PVA‐Co(II) complexes showed as tetrahedral structure. PAA‐Ni(II) and PEG‐Ni(II) complexes have octahedral geometry, whereas PVA‐Ni(II) has a square planar structure. Besides, the stress‐strain experiments of PVA‐metal coordination polymers obtained rubber‐like structure were carried out and the value of breaking‐strain of PVA‐Ni(II) complex was found to be about 17% of vulcanized natural rubber. The conductivities of the resulting polymer‐metal complexes were measured by four‐probe technique and were found in the range 10?5?10?6 Scm?1. Thus, it was suggested that they can be used in the field potential application of conducting polymers. TGA results revealed that among the complexes PEG‐Fe(III) and PVA‐Fe(III) complexes have the highest thermally stable. 相似文献

Three Hofmann-diaminododecane-type clathrates of the form M(1,12-diaminododecane) Ni(CN)4G (M = Co, Ni or Cd; G = benzene, naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene or biphenyl) have been prepared in powder form. The 1,12-diaminododecane molecules in the host lattice permit the inclusion of bulky guest molecules. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative evaluation of some biological properties of methanol and water extracts of leaves of five Juniperus taxa growing in Turkey: J. communis L. var. communis (Jcc), J. communis L. var. saxatilis Pall. (Jcs), J. drupacea Labill. (Jd), J. oxycedrus L. subsp. oxycedrus (Joo), J. oxycedrus L. subsp. macrocarpa (Sibth. & Sm.) Ball. (Jom). The antioxidant properties were examined in vitro; both in the DPPH and in the reducing power tests, Joo methanol extract resulted the most active (IC50?=?0.09?±?0.01mg/mL and ASE/mL?=?2.56?±?0.06). In the TBA assay, Jcs methanol extract exhibited the highest activity (IC50?=?4.39?±?0.47?μg/mL). The extracts displayed bacteriostatic activity against Staphylococcus aureus, and Jd methanol extract resulted the most effective (MIC?=?19.53?μg/mL); no effect on the S. aureus biofilm formation was observed. The extracts resulted non-toxic in the Artemia salina lethality bioassay. Finally, the phenolic profile of the methanol extracts was characterized by HPLC-PDA/ESI-MS. 相似文献

Alkali Blue 6B-attached poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (poly(HEMA)) microporous films were investigated as chelate forming sorbents for heavy metal removal. Poly(HEMA) microporous films were prepared by UV-initiated photo-polymerization of HEMA in the presence of an initiator (azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN)). Alkali Blue 6B was attached covalently. These films with a swelling ratio of 58%, and carrying 14.8 mmol Alkali Blue 6B m(-2) which were then used in the removal of Cd(II), Zn(II) and Pb(II) from aqueous media. Adsorption rates were very high, equilibrium was achieved in about 30 min. The maximum adsorption of heavy metal ions onto the Alkali Blue 6B-attached films were 41.4 mmol m(-2) for Cd(II), 52.4 mmol m(-2) for Zn(II), and 64.5 mmol m(-2) for Pb(II). When the heavy metal ions competed during the adsorption from a mixture the adsorption values for Cd(II), Zn(II) and Pb(II) were quite close. Heavy metal ions were desorbed by using 0.1 M HNO(3). A significant amount of the adsorbed heavy metal ions (up to 95%) could be desorbed in 30 min. Repeated adsorption/desorption cycles showed the feasibility of these novel dye-attached microporous films for heavy metal removal. 相似文献
