Two laser ablation systems dedicated to bulk analysis were evaluated for steel and PVC samples, using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry detection. These systems were characterized by the use of a Nd:YAG laser operating at 1064 nm, the absence of observation device and a large laser spot size. The 1064 nm wavelength was selected to avoid the use of frequency-multiplying optics, and to be less critical to the sampling position. Calibration graphs and limits of detection are given for both types of materials. LODs were in the range 3–120 μg/g for steel, and in the range 0.07–15 μg/g for PVC. In the case of steel samples, similar calibration graph slopes were obtained between polished and unpolished samples.  相似文献

Optically Active C5-Synthons for the Synthesis of Naturally Occurring Terpenes The optically active synthons (S)- 22 , (R)- 23 , (R)- 25 and (R)- 26 were prepared from L -serine. Furthermore the tertiary alcohol 6 was synthesized from L -serine (→(S)- 6 ) and D -mannitol (→(R)- 6 ). These compounds are suitable for the synthesis of optically active natural products.  相似文献

Highly concentrated planar fibre-bundle suspensions with a transparent PMMA matrix were processed with various initial bundle contents and orientations. They were submitted to simple compression and plane strain compression deformation modes. First rheological measurements are presented. They highlight the role of the bundle content and orientation on recorded stress levels. The transparent matrix allows the observation of fibrous microstructures before and after compressions: The in-plane deformation of bundles (flattening and bending) as well as the evolution of their orientation are analysed and discussed. Sedimentation of fibres and particles can be observed manifold in industrial application. In waste water treatment, the water is clarified from solid particles and fibres utilizing sedimentation. Some filtration processes use fibres as an aid to improve the filtration quality. Finally, in the paper recycling process, one tries to separate cellulose fibres from inorganic particles used as filling material or in printing colours. For all these applications, it is necessary to understand the hydrodynamic interactions between single particles as well as particle and fibre collectives. In the present paper, the sedimentation behaviour of fibres and particles is considered in detail. Mathematic modelling is used to investigate inter particle influences in detail. In particular, a method called Stokesian Dynamics is used to simulate the settling of fibres and particles. The main challenge of the modelling is the dependence of the direction of each fibre on its sedimentation velocity and the different sizes of the particles in a poly-modal particle size distribution. Additionally fibres, particles and the fluid are influencing each other in a significant manner and in a long range.
