Two d-erythrose 1,3-butadienes were reacted with electrophilic achiral t-butyl 2H-azirine 3-carboxylate giving cycloadducts with good yields and moderate selectivity. The isomers could be separated to give the major (R)-isomers at C-2 in approximately 50% yield in both cases. Hydrogen borrowing catalysis serves as a powerful alternative to enolate alkylation, enabling the direct coupling of ketones with unactivated alcohols. However, to date, methods that enable control over the absolute stereochemical outcome of such a process have remained elusive. Here we report a catalytic asymmetric method for the synthesis of enantioenriched cyclohexanes from 1,5‐diols via hydrogen borrowing catalysis. This reaction is mediated by the addition of a chiral iridium(I) complex, which is able to impart high levels of enantioselectivity upon the process. A series of enantioenriched cyclohexanes have been prepared and the mode of enantioinduction has been probed by a combination of experimental and DFT studies. 相似文献

3β‐(Stearyloxy)olean‐12‐ene was isolated from a hexane extract of Austroplenckia populnea Reiss (Celastraceae) leaves. The structure was solved by means of quantitative 13C‐NMR, HMBC, HMQC, COSY, NOESY, and NOE difference spectra. Glucose utilization by lysine-producing fluoroacetate-sensitive mutants ofCorynebacterium glutamicum
A fluoroacetate-sensitive mutant was isolated fromCorynebacterium glutamicum, ATCC 21513, following mutagenesis with NTG. Batch fermentations show that in terms of growth kinetics, glucose utilization,
and lysine formation, there are significant differences between the mutant and the parent. The mutant’s specific growth rate
(0.22/h) is lower than that for the parent (0.34/h). Also, the yield expressed as lysine/glucose consumed does not alter as
a function of the glucose concentration for the mutant, and is about 0.22, whereas for the parent, this coefficient decreases
with increasing glucose concentration. The maximum specific rate of lysine production for the mutant is 1.3 g/L/h that is

A simple and rapid microwave-assisted alkaline digestion procedure was developed in combination with high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet post-column oxidation-cold vapour atomic fluorescence spectrometric detection for methylmercury determination in biological tissues. Since the stability of methylmercury in methanolic potassium hydroxide solution under microwave irradiation was verified, the microwave-assisted extraction procedure was optimized in terms of quantitative recovery of methylmercury and minimum time required. The alkaline extracts were subjected to clean-up steps with dichloromethane and hydrochloric acid in order to reduce matrix interferences in methylmercury determination. The effects of matrix interferences were checked by comparison of the slopes corresponding to calibration and standard addition curves. The accuracy of the method was evaluated by the analysis of two biological certified reference materials, NRC TORT-2 and BCR 463. The results obtained by the proposed method were in good agreement with the certified values of methylmercury concentration in both materials. The detection limit was 10 microg kg(-1) and the relative standard deviation was < 8% for methylmercury concentrations ranging from 0.15 to 3.0 mg kg(-1). 相似文献

In the title complex, trans‐{2,2′‐[cyclohexane‐1,2‐diylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato‐κ4O,N,N′,O′}nickel(II)–chloroform (1/1), [Ni(C20H20N2O2)]·CHCl3, the Ni atom has a square‐planar geometry, slightly tetrahedrally distorted. The Ni—N and Ni—O bonding distances are within the expected ranges for Ni–Schiff base derivatives. The diimine bridge has a gauche conformation with the cyclohexyl ring almost coplanar with the NiN2O2 plane. The complex molecules pack in dimers with an Ni?Ni distance of 3.59 (1) Å and form a three‐dimensional structure displaying a herring‐bone configuration. The aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of the purification process on the stability of Jatropha curcas biodiesel. The biodiesel was obtained using a variety of purification processes: three wet methods with different drying processes (vacuum oven, conventional oven and anhydrous sodium sulfate) and one dry method (purification with adsorbent magnesium silicate). Biodiesel was characterized through the analysis of carbon residue, acidity index, infrared and gas chromatography. The composition J. curcas oil indicated 56.3 % of unsaturated fatty acids and 43.7 % of saturated fatty acids. Jatropha oil presented high quantity of saturated acids, which are less susceptible at oxidation. The biodiesel sample that was chemically purified (PUsq) presented better purity, indicating be the process more efficient in remove the residues of synthesis. Thermogravimetric curves of purified biodiesel by wet method, PUsq, with chemical drying using anhydrous sodium sulfate, and PUsv, with vacuum drying, showed the highest initial decomposition temperatures, indicating higher thermal stability. The carbon residue and infrared analyses suggested that contamination by catalyst residue is a determining factor in reduction of the oxidative stability of biodiesel. The oxidative stability was evaluated using Rancimat and pressure differential scanning calorimetry. Biodiesel samples showing better oxidative stability were purified using PUsq and PUsv, which obtained stability of 6 h using the Rancimat technique, the minimum limit set by Brazilian legislation, without the addition of antioxidant, suggesting that these methods least influenced the stability of biodiesel. 相似文献
