Controlling the nanoscale morphology in assemblies of π‐conjugated molecules is key to developing supramolecular functional materials. Here, we report an unsymmetrically substituted amphiphilic PtII complex 1 that shows unique self‐assembly behavior in nonpolar media, providing two competing anti‐cooperative and cooperative pathways with distinct molecular arrangement (long‐ vs. medium‐slipped, respectively) and nanoscale morphology (discs vs. fibers, respectively). With a thermodynamic model, we unravel the competition between the anti‐cooperative and cooperative pathways: buffering of monomers into small‐sized, anti‐cooperative species affects the formation of elongated assemblies, which might open up new strategies for pathway control in self‐assembly. Our findings reveal that side‐chain immiscibility is an efficient method to control anti‐cooperative assemblies and pathway complexity in general.  相似文献

Excited states in 110Sn and 111Sn nuclei have been investigated using in-beam -ray spectroscopic methods. An 16O beam with an energy of 60-80MeV was used to bombard a 98Mo target. On the basis of the relative excitation functions, -ray angular distributions, - and -time distributions, -ray multiplicity and total energy data, the level schemes of 110Sn and 111Sn have been studied and extended up to Eexc 11.5MeV, I = 24, and Eexc 11.1MeV and I = (51/2), respectively. An extension of the intruder, g.s. and negative-parity bands, as well as 5 new band-like structures are proposed in 110Sn. The nature of newly introduced collective band 8 as well as 10+ states fed in the decay of the collective band is discussed. In the 111Sn nucleus an intruder band based on the 23/2- state has been reinvestigated and the extension of the g.s. band and second negative-parity band is given. Evidence for neutron-core coupling in 111Sn is found. The structure and systematics of excited states in light Sn isotopes is discussed.  相似文献

The decay of 123Ba to 123Cs has been studied with mass-separated sources. Singles spectra of γ-rays, X-rays and conversion electrons as well as γ - γ - t, γ - e - t, and X - e - t coincidences were recorded. A level scheme of 123Cs has been constructed including 26 new excited states and 82 transitions. The existence of a I π = 11/2, T 1/2 = 1.7 s isomer, bandhead of the h 11/2 band, is confirmed. Its excitation energy equals 156.3 keV. A new T 1/2 = 114 ns isomer has been established at 232 keV using the in-beam recoil catcher technique. It is assigned to the I π = 9/2+ bandhead of the gpg 9/2 band. Collective bands based on the 1/2+ ground state and first 3/2+ excited state are proposed. The level structure is described in the frame of the interacting boson-fermion and core-quasiparticle coupling models.  相似文献

It is shown that each group is the outer automorphism groupof a simple group. Surprisingly, the proof is mainly based onthe theory of ordered or relational structures and their symmetrygroups. By a recent result of Droste and Shelah, any group isthe outer automorphism group Out (Aut T) of the automorphismgroup Aut T of a doubly homogeneous chain (T, ). However, AutT is never simple. Following recent investigations on automorphismgroups of circles, it is possible to turn (T, ) into a circleC such that Out (Aut T) Out (Aut C). The unavoidable normalsubgroups in Aut T evaporate in Aut C, which is now simple,and the result follows.  相似文献
