Remote excitation and remote detection of a single quantum dot using propagating surface plasmons on silver nanowire 下载免费PDF全文
Using propagating surface plasmons(SPs) on a silver nanowire(NW), we demonstrate that a focused laser light at the end of the silver NW can excite a single quantum dot(QD) microns away from the excitation spot. The QD–NW interaction allows the excited QD convert part of its energy into propagating SPs, which then can be detected at remote sites.Simultaneous multi-QD remote excitation and remote detection can also be realized. Furthermore, the tight confinement of the propagating SPs around the NW surface enables the selective excitation of QDs very close in space, which cannot be realized under the conventional excitation condition. This remote excitation and remote detection approach may find applications in optical imaging and the sensing of chemical and biological systems. 相似文献

HJ-1B卫星热红外通道自发射以来共进行了7次星上黑体定标,然而针对星上定标系数的验证工作开展较少。通过半高宽法、矩方法和查找表法计算得到2009年9月14日星上定标系数。以具有较高定标精度的MODIS为参考源,基于MODIS第31,32通道和HJ-1B热红外通道的光谱响应特性,改进对应热红外通道的光谱匹配算法,建立两传感器表观辐亮度的匹配关系,进而通过Planck公式计算出HJ-1B热红外通道的等效水表亮温,通过与HJ-1B热红外通道基于星上定标系数得到的反演水表亮温进行比较,实现对星上定标系数的验证。以光谱响应差异计算的等效亮温值为285.97 K,半高宽法、矩方法和查找表法星上定标系数反演亮温值分别为288.77,274.52和285.97 K。结果显示,半高宽法、矩方法和查找表法星上定标系数反演亮温与光谱响应差异计算的等效亮温偏差分别为2.8,-11.46和0.02 K。结果表明,HJ-1B热红外通道星上定标方法中以查找表法星上定标系数计算结果精度较高。同时证明了基于光谱响应差异的HJ-1B热红外通道星上定标系数验证方法有效可行。 相似文献

Hadronic Scenarios for Gamma-Ray Emission from Three Supernova Remnants Interacting with Molecular Clouds 下载免费PDF全文
GeV γ-rays detected with the large area telescope on board the Fermi Gamma-ray space telescope in the direc- tion of HB21, MSH 17-39 and G337.0-0.1 have been recently reported. The three supernova remnants (SNRs) show interactions with molecular clouds, and they are effective gamma-ray emitters as the relativistic protons accelerated by the SNR shocks inelastically colliding with the dense gas in the clouds. The origin of the observed γ-rays for the three remnants is investigated in the scenario of the diffusive shock acceleration. In the model, a part of the SNR shock transmits into the nearby molecular clouds, and the shock velocity is greatly reduced. As a result, a shock with a relatively low Alfven Mach number is generated, and the spectra of the accelerated protons and thee'γ-ray photons produced via proton-proton interaction can be obtained. The results show that the observed γ-ray spectra for the three SNRs interacting with the molecular clouds can be reproduced. It can be concluded that the hadronic origin of the γ-rays for the three SNRs is approved, and the ability of SNR shocks to accelerate protons is also supported. 相似文献

This paper investigates the phenomenon of stochastic resonance in a
single-mode laser driven by quadratic pump noise and
amplitude-modulated signal. A new linear approximation approach is
advanced to calculate the signal-to-noise ratio. In the linear
approximation only the drift term is linearized, the multiplicative
noise term is unchangeable. It is found that there appears not only
the standard form of stochastic resonance but also the broad sense
of stochastic resonance, especially stochastic multiresonance
appears in the curve of signal-to-noise ratio as a function of
coupling strength λ between the real and imaginary parts of

Controlled growth and field emission of vertically aligned AlN nanostructures with different morphologies 下载免费PDF全文
The controllable growth of three different morphologies of AlN
nanostructures (nanorod, nanotip and nanocrater) arrays are
successfully realized by using chemical vapour deposition (CVD)
technology. All three nanostructures are of single crystal h-AlN
with a growth orientation of [001]. Their growth is attributed to
the vapour-liquid-solid (VLS) mechanism. To investigate the factors
affecting field emission (FE) properties of AlN nanostructures, we
compare their FE behaviours in several aspects. Experimental results
show that AlN nanocrater arrays possess the best FE properties, such
as a threshold field of 7.2~V/μm and an emission current
fluctuation lower than 4%. Moreover, the three AlN nanostructures
all have good field emission properties compared with a number of
other excellent cathode nanomaterials, which suggests that they are

We elaborate a high-power, high-efficiency cw Tm:YAP laser dual-end-pumped by the laser diode. With 41.9?W pumping power, we obtain a maximum cw output power of 14.7?W at 1988?nm with a slope efficiency of 43.8%, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 35.1%.
