A porous perovskite BaCoxFeyZr0.9?x?yPd0.1O3?δ (BCFZ‐Pd) coating was deposited onto the outer surface of a BaCoxFeyZr1?x?yO3?δ (BCFZ) perovskite hollow‐fiber membrane. The surface morphology of the modified BCFZ fiber was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), indicating the formation of a BCFZ‐Pd porous layer on the outer surface of a dense BCFZ hollow‐fiber membrane. The oxygen permeation flux of the BCFZ membrane with a BCFZ‐Pd porous layer increased 3.5 times more than that of the blank BCFZ membrane when feeding reactive CH4 onto the permeation side of the membrane. The blank BCFZ membrane and surface‐modified BCFZ membrane were used as reactors to shift the equilibrium of thermal water dissociation for hydrogen production because they allow the selective removal of the produced oxygen from the water dissociation system. It was found that the hydrogen production rate increased from 0.7 to 2.1 mL H2 min?1 cm?2 at 950 °C after depositing a BCFZ‐Pd porous layer onto the BCFZ membrane.  相似文献

The redox‐active and chelating diphosphine, 3,4‐dimethyl‐3′,4′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐tetrathiafulvalene, denoted as P2 , is engaged in a series of platinum complexes, [(P2)Pt(dithiolene)], with different dithiolate ligands, such as 1,2‐benzenedithiolate (bdt), 1,3‐dithiole‐2‐thione‐4,5‐dithiolate (dmit), and 5,6‐dihydro‐1,4‐dithiin‐2,3‐dithiolate (dddt). The complexes are structurally characterized by X‐ray diffraction, together with a model compound derived from bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane, namely, [(dppe)Pt(dddt)] . Four successive reversible electron‐transfer processes are found for the [(P2)Pt(dddt)] complex, associated with the two covalently linked but electronically uncoupled electrophores, that is, the TTF core and the platinum dithiolene moiety. The assignments of the different redox processes to either one or the other electrophore is made thanks to the electrochemical properties of the model compound [(dppe)Pt(dddt)] lacking the TTF redox core, and with the help of theoretical calculations (DFT) to understand the nature and energy of the frontier orbitals of the [(P2)Pt(dithiolene)] complexes in their different oxidation states. The first oxidation of the highly electron‐rich [(P2)Pt(dddt)] complex can be unambiguously assigned to the redox process affecting the Pt(dddt) moiety rather than the TTF core, a rare example in the coordination chemistry of tetrathiafulvalenes acting as ligands.  相似文献

An efficient tandem reaction for the asymmetric synthesis of six‐membered spirocyclic oxindoles has been successfully developed through a formal [2+2+2] annulation strategy. The amine‐catalysed stereoselective Michael addition of aliphatic aldehydes to electron‐deficient olefinic oxindole motifs gave chiral C3 components, which were further combined with diverse electrophiles (activated olefins or imines) to afford spirocyclic oxindoles with versatile molecular complexity (up to six contiguous stereogenic centres, high diastereo‐ and enantioselectivities).  相似文献

Here, we demonstrate that platelet graphite nanofibers (PGNFs) exhibit fast heterogeneous electron‐transfer rates for a wide variety of compounds such as FeCl3, ferrocyanide, dopamine, uric acid, ascorbic acid, and the reduced form of β‐nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. The electrochemical properties of PGNFs are superior to those of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) or graphite microparticles (GMPs). Transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy reveal that this arises from the unique graphene sheet orientation of such platelet nanofibers, which accounts for their unparalleled high ratio of graphene edge planes versus basal planes.  相似文献

Site‐directed spin labeling and EPR spectroscopy offer accurate, sensitive tools for the characterization of structure and function of macromolecules and their assemblies. A new rigid spin label, spirocyclohexyl nitroxide α‐amino acid and its N‐(9‐fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl) derivative, have been synthesized, which exhibit slow enough spin‐echo dephasing to permit accurate distance measurements by pulsed EPR spectroscopy at temperatures up to 125 K in 1:1 water/glycerol and at higher temperatures in matrices with higher glass transition temperatures. Distance measurements in the liquid nitrogen temperature range are less expensive than those that require liquid helium, which will greatly facilitate applications of pulsed EPR spectroscopy to the study of structure and conformation of peptides and proteins.  相似文献

New ternary rare earth metal boride carbides with compositions close to RE10B9C10 (RE = Gd, Tb) were prepared from the elements by melting around 1800 K followed by annealing in silica tubes at 1270 K for one month. The crystal structure of the terbium compound was solved by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. It crystallizes in a new structure type in the monoclinic space group P21/c, a = 7.937(1), b = 23.786(2), c = 11.172(1) Å, β = 133.74(1)°, Z = 4, R1 = 0.045 (wR2 = 0.11) for 5713 reflections with Io > 2σ(Io). In the structure BC2 units and single carbon atoms are attached to a zigzag boron chain forming the unprecedented B18C18 branching unit with a B–B distance of 2.42(2) Å between these units. In addition isolated carbon atoms occupy the centres of elongated octahedra formed by rare earth metal atoms. Disorder in the terbium position together with anomalous displacement ellipsoids for carbon atoms except of those in the BC2 fragments can be rationalized in terms of a slight deviation in stoichiometry, Tb10B9+xC10–x (x ≈? 0.2). The terbium compound is ferromagnetic below TC ≈? 45 K. Due to the presence of moderately narrow domain walls the magneto‐crystalline energy is small.  相似文献

The novel heterospin complex [Ni2(PhCOO)4(NITpPy)2]·2CH3CN ( 1 ) was synthesized by the reaction of nickel benzoate and 2‐(4‐pyridyl)‐4,4,5,5‐tetramethylimidazoline‐1‐oxyl‐3‐oxide (NITpPy) in acetonitrile and dichloromethane solutions. The X‐ray structure determination shows that complex 1 consists of a symmetrical dimeric NiII benzoate paddle‐wheel core and pyridyl nitrogen atoms of radical ligands at the apical position, in addition, the temperature (2–300K) dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that 1 has antiferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

This paper describes the formation and characterization of liquid crystalline dispersions based on the hexagonal phase of GMO/tricaprylin/water. As a stabilizer of the soft particles dispersed in the aqueous phase, a non-ionic, non-polymeric surfactant—ethoxylated phytosterol with 30 oxyethylene units (PhEO) was utilized. In contrast to Pluronic copolymers, normally utilized in the stabilization of liquid crystalline dispersions with ordered inner structure, use of such non-polymeric surfactant is not a common practice in this field. We revealed how properties of these particles, such as internal structure, size, and stability, can be rationally modified by the concentration of the stabilizing agent and processing conditions. The physical stability of the hexosomes was further examined by the LUMiFuge technique.Structural effect of PhEO solubilization on the properties of the bulk HII mesophase system showed that phase behavior was greatly influenced following phase transitions: HII → HII + cubic → cubic + Lα → Lα. The decrease of hydrogen bonding of the hydroxyl and carbonyl groups of monoolein with water and simultaneous hydration of EO groups of PhEO appeared to be important for the observed behavior. The use of PhEO as a dispersant resulted in a soft matter multi-phase water dispersion with bimodal distribution of the particle population. Effective stabilization of hexosomes was obtained in an extremely narrow concentration range of PhEO (0.1–0.2 wt%), coexisting with small vesicles and disordered particles. At higher PhEO content, particles had disordered inner structure, and unilamellar and multilamellar vesicles, at the expense of hexosomes in consequence of incorporation of the dispersant into the hexosome structure. PhEO was found to induce lamellar phase formation, introducing disorder into the hexagonal LLC and reducing their domain size.Finally, hexosomes were evaluated as delivery vehicles for the therapeutic peptide desmopressin. Sustained release of this drug was observed during the first 10 h; however, permeation drastically increased in the 10–24 h range.  相似文献

In the course of our investigations on polymetallic complexes derived from 1,3-bis(thiophosphinoyl)indene (Ind(Ph(2)P=S)(2)), we observed original fluxional behavior and report herein a joint experimental/computational study of this dynamic process. Starting from the indenylidene chloropalladate species [Pd{Ind(Ph(2) P=S)(2)}Cl](-) (1), the new Pd(II)···Rh(I) hetero-bimetallic pincer complex [PdCl{Ind(Ph(2) P=S)(2)}Rh(nbd)] (2; nbd=2,5-norbornadiene) was prepared. X-ray crystallography and DFT calculations substantiate the presence of a d(8)···d(8) interaction. According to multinuclear variable-temperature NMR spectroscopic experiments, the pendant {Rh(nbd)} fragment of 2 readily shifts in solution at room temperature between the two edges of the SCS tridentate ligand. To assess the role of the pincer-based polymetallic structure on this fluxional behavior, the related monometallic Rh complex [Rh{IndH(Ph(2) P=S)(2)}(nbd)] (3) was prepared. No evidence for a metal shift was observed in that case, even at high temperature, thus indicating that inplane pincer coordination to the Pd center plays a crucial role. The previously described Pd(II)···Ir(I) bimetallic complex 4 exhibited fluxional behavior in solution, but with a significantly higher activation barrier than 2. This finding demonstrates the generality of this metal-shift process and the strong influence of the involved metal centers on the associated activation barrier. DFT calculations were performed to shed light onto the mechanism of such metal-shift processes and to identify the factors that influence the associated activation barriers. Significantly different pathways were found for bimetallic complexes 2 and 4 on one hand and the monometallic complex 3 on the other hand. The corresponding activation barriers predicted computationally are in very good agreement with the experimental observations.  相似文献

The adsorption isotherms of n-decyl-β-D-glucoside (β-C(10)G(1)) as well as various n-alkyl-β-D-maltosides (β-C(n)G(2)) with n=8, 10, 12 and 14 were determined from surface tension measurements. Based on the analysis of the adsorption isotherms, the total free energy change of adsorption was determined and a novel method was proposed to determine the maximum adsorbed amount of surfactant. It can be concluded that the driving force for adsorption first increases with increasing adsorbed amount of the sugar surfactants and then levels off in a plateau. This peculiar behaviour is interpreted as formation of a thin liquid-like alkane film of overlapping alkyl chains at the air/water interface once a certain adsorbed amount is exceeded. The driving force of adsorption depends on the alkyl chain length only and is not affected by the type of the head group. The hydrophobic contribution to the standard free energy change of adsorption was compared with the values of sodium alkylsulfate and alkyltrimethylammonium bromide surfactants. This comparison reveals that the hydrophobic driving force of adsorption is the largest for the sodium alkylsulfates, whereas it is the same for the sugar surfactants and the alkyltrimethylammonium bromides.  相似文献
